    Ashcott has worked on multiple projects for me and I’ve been very pleased with the quality of work! They even found and solved a wiring issue another company could not.     If anyone is looking for a home generator (or other electrical work) I would like to highly recommend Ashcott Electrical, Inc. in Whitmore Lake MI. I did a lot of research before contracting with the Ashcott team and am now enjoying peace-of-mind the Briggs and Stratton whole house generator (and Ashcotts maintenance arrangement) will provide many years of protection against loss of power. It is also noteworthy to mention that I am sure this generator performance and service life are superior to other commonly advertised units.The Ashcott Team are truly my long-term partners in this and all other electrical needs I may have.

    I had a home generator transfer switch fire while the temperatures outside were below zero. Ashcott came out and installed a new transfer switch and I had power within 5 hours of the failure. Scott and electrician Dylan were fabulous to deal with and made the situation a thousand times better by making my repair a priority!

    I was renovating a small commercial building and the original electrician I was working with abandoned the project about halfway through.     We have had Ashcott Electrical on a couple projects and we decided to call them on this particular project.After the ice storm this February we wanted to get our portable generator hooked up to the house. We didnt want a whole house generator. After calling Ashcott and speaking to the office staff, we agreed to get an interlock kit installed. They didnt pressure us in buying a whole house generator. We just needed to buy a little more power portable generator for our house.The guy came and installed it in about 2-2.5 hours. Let me tell you, weve never had that many problems with DTE and power outages until after the ice storm. We have now used the portable generator hooked up to the house twice. As I write this I have no power ( 7/27/23) and the generator is working with no issues!!My house is 960 SF. I have a portable generator hooked up to the house and it powers almost everything in my house!!! The only thing it doesnt is the air conditioner which they told me it wouldnt. No big deal. I have lights in all bedrooms and both bathrooms, I have internet/TV going, fridge is working just fine AND the sump pump. No issues!This was the best investment we have ever made!!! We saved thousands of dollars by not getting a whole house generator.When we had this installed, it was still cold out and it powered everthing that I just mentioned AND my furnace!!!It only cost $900 to install and we bought a $600 portable generator. So, for $1,500 compared to $5k+ for a whole house generator, it was worth it!I cant thank them enough!!

    Ashcott Electrical is outstanding inside and out. My wife and I had them place three bedroom ceiling fans and add recessed lighting to our family room. Scott came to give us a quote quickly after we called and was very helpful throughout the process. Kevin, Kyle, and Sean were very polite and efficient. Their work makes a world of difference in our home and we highly recommend them.

    I cant vouch for the other techs at Ashcott Electrical, but I can vouch for Mike and he does amazing work. There was a tricky dual fuel gas range installation (he had to go under the house, run lines without cutting holes in the walls, etc), and he did a beautiful job. The second installation was an Ikea ceiling fixture that didnt come with all of the necessary parts. No problem! He came up with a safe solution and it makes me smile every time I turn on that light. Very professional, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend. Thanks, Mike!

    Ashcott did the electrical for my A/C installation and upgraded the electrical for the whole house. They (Kevin, Dylan, and Chase) worked quickly, did a great job, were polite and pleasant. The price was fair. They even fixed my doorbell which had been troublesome for too long.

    Literally the BEST company ever! The receptionist was very nice and helpful, got me an estimate right away. The technician that arrived was 10 mins early, very polite and knew his stuff. Originally thought I needed a whole service upgrade but he found that it was just a loose wire causing my issues. Thank you soooo much for your help!! I will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family :)

He was an excellent communicator. He worked so hard to stay out of our way while he was maneuvering from outside to inside. And finally, he demonstrated the unit, talked to me about the logic and neatly packaged up the manuals.In addition, my Sales Professional, Andy LaRossa, showed such a level of patience as we were making your team navigate around the timing of our landscapers. Andy also made himself available day or night to answer my emails, phone calls and texts. I orgininally selected Ashcott because of Andys attention to reviewing the application and explaining the codes and processes.Lastly, but just as important, your office communicated every step of the process.     We had Ashcott Electrical replace four breakers in our house today (Thursday) after a nearby lightning strike on Monday night took out some of our electronics and tripped several breakers. We called several local electricians on Tuesday and they all had at minimum a week long wait. After finding their name on the local electrician union page, I called Ashcott yesterday (Wednesday) and Rachel answered the phone. She assessed our problem, scheduled us in for the following day, and relayed the necessary information. They sent Kevin to replace our breakers. He explained to me what needed replaced and worked efficiently. I was concerned one of our GFCI outlets in one of our bathrooms needed replaced but he tested the outlet and determined it didnt need replaced. I felt he was honest and competent. Both Rachel and Kevin made sure that I was satisfied with their work. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

    I needed a GFI outlet replaced, I called up and they gave me a quote and someone was out in less than a day. They stuck to the quote, were super nice, and were in and out quickly. They mentioned they wanted to double check it to make sure it wasnt a deeper issue. The whole thing was very pleasant, will use again!

    Aschott installed a house generator for us in 2022. Weve had to used it several times. We had 1 issues after recent outage. The tech was able to fix the problem quickly. From install to service, their customer service was great! The salesman that sold us the generator, and the tech who came to help me problem solve an issue and show me how to do maintenance on generator, were all terrific. Highly recommend Aschott Electric!

    I had electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure installed by Ashcott at my Ann Arbor home. This included prep for a dedicated second meter, a new panel in the basement and 2 240V outlets in the garage. The work looks beautiful and passed inspection the first time.
