    My wife wanted a 220 electrical line installed in her greenhouse. We have lived at our present location for 36 years and we have never used anyone but Ashpaugh Electric for our electrical needs. Jeffrey came out and provided us with an estimate. He was neatly dressed, friendly, very respectful of our property, and remarkably informed about what would be required to complete the job.After we agreed to the estimate for the job, which was very reasonable, Greg and Brennan came out to perform the job. They arrived at the designated time and after looking over the job, suggested a couple of changes that would make the installation aesthetically more pleasing. Greg was familiar with greenhouses and he and my wife spoke at length about the job. The two of them worked professionally and diligently the rest of the morning and completed the job in about four hours. While Brennan cleaned up on the outside of the greenhouse, Greg explained to my wife the settings on the heater and why he ran the line as he did. He offered suggestions as to how to set the thermostat on the heater so that it would come on and go off at the desired temperatures.We are extremely satisfied with the job performance of these three individuals and while we know it is not possible, we would like to specify these individuals for future jobs.

    Called Ashpaugh Electric and they were able to get me in 2 days later. On day of appointment they were able to come earlier than scheduled (that never happens with any company Ive experienced). JR & Killian talked out my project I was needing to do and verified what was needing to be done to keep it to code. Answered all my questions, came up with a proposal that was within what I was expecting. They started right away and were able to complete the job sooner than expected and were able to put in less holes into the basement ceiling than expected (only 1!!). Very friendly and professional. I have used Ashpaugh prior and had the same experience. I would highly recommend!!!

    Greg and Sam did an excellent job installing a 50 amp NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for charging my EV. They were very kind and respectful and managed to make it work under some constraints at my breaker. Would recommend their services and will personally use them again!Also want to thank Brian who was out with Sam for the initial quoting and was able to help answer my initial questions and offer advice.

    Evan and Sam from Ashpaugh were able to come out promptly and replace our non-working, 50lb. entry fixture with a new one. They were extremely careful in removing the old fixture. Very professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Our new fixture looks beautiful! We will definitely call Ashpaugh for all our future electrical projects!

    Did a Brennen, Greg and Jeffrey came out and worked hard over Christmas break to make sure all of our lights were working properly and up to code. They did a fantastic job!! Very impressed. We have had different electricians out for different jobs but will definitely being going back to Ashpaugh Electric!

    We hired Ashpaugh Electric to perform a few needed repairs at our house. This was our first interaction with Ashpaugh Electric and they were excellent. I will use them again in the future for any electrical needs. JR and Killian from Ashpaugh came to our house to review a porch light that would not shut off. They determined that the switch was faulty and replaced the switch. Additionally, they examined a kitchen light fixture that was not working. They determined that the fixture was faulty and needed to be replaced. They replaced all four of our fire alarms that were old and not working properly. They reviewed our front porch light and switch and concluded that no repairs were necessary (as had been recommended to us by a previous handyman company). Both JR and Killian were excellent- they were on time, provided the necessary repairs in a timely manner, provided us recommendations, and they were both very personable and nice to deal with. I would welcome them back for any future work. I highly recommend Ashpaugh Electric, including JR and Killian.

    We had an emergency with our main breaker during freezing cold temperatures—definitely not a situation you want to be in! Everyone else we called was either unavailable or booked out for days to weeks. Then we found Ashpaugh Electric, and they immediately stood out. They took our call with professionalism, understood the urgency, and sent Greg out to help us. Our house is older with hard-to-find breakers, but Greg and the team went above and beyond, locating the right one in the area, installing it quickly, and making sure everything was perfect before wrapping up.     Ashpaugh Electric was outstanding in coming out to our house to hang a new ceiling fan in my office and to replace and install new lights in our kitchen (over our island and sink). JR was excellent to work with...and he also made sure to install new switches (with dimmers) because we had had some issues. JR was always letting me know what he was doing and what the cost was...there were no surprises. Thank you Ashpaugh Electric.

    This was the first time that I had used Ashpaugh, and it was a great experience. The circuit to the courtyard that serves a Christmas tree suddenly stopped working. JR came the next morning and was most professional and thorough in figuring out the problem. He had to test from the breaker box to a box just outside the house, from that box to the switch and to the outlet. He had to replace the section from the house to the outlet and upgraded the weatherproof boxes and cable. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

    Ashpaugh is the only service I will use for electrical work. They show up on time, are polite, they work through problems to find the best solution, they clean up after their work, and are just generally good pleasant guys. Evan and Sam came to provide an estimate of the job and Steve and Sam completed the work. I am beyond thrilled with the results! I’ll be calling on them for any work needed in the future.     Had to have a switch replaced, it cost a little more than I expected. However the professionalism from Evan & Sam was well worth it. They were down to earth & explained the repair really well. Not much of a mess was made but they still cleaned the area up. After having this guys out I really think I might do away with my contractors. Both gentlemen represented the company well & I feel are a valuable asset to the team. I will highly recommend using Ashpaugh Electric to anyone looking for an electrician!

    Brian and his team have continued to provide exemplary quality and service on the two times we have used them for help with our house. Steve and Killian were both patient with questions and very kind. No mess left behind, very professional. Ive had Ashpaugh do an overhead to underground conversion, add an outlet where a line was cut, and install an all new ceiling fan where there was no previous light. Soon, hopefully will have my Tesla charger installed. Leona in the office is stellar as well! Highly recommended and very responsive!

    Ashpaugh Electric went above and beyond in replacing our electric box after it caught on fire. They were here first thing Monday morning and even waited as I returned from taking my grandchildren to school. Aaron and Sam were professional, replaced the box as well as the outside meter and cleaned up everything within two days. Their hard work was greatly appreciated as we had no heat or lights after the fire. We really appreciate this company taking care of us in a trying situation.

    Evan and Sam arrived exactly on time. They were courteous and got to work right away. They did a great job replacing 4 utility lights in my basement. They were all finished in around an hour and a half. They did a great job cleaning up after the work was done and hauled off the old fixtures and the boxes that the new ones came in.     Fantastic work and friendly service. Jeffrey did a great job installing a new pendant. He was thorough and efficient (and double-checked to make sure I was happy with the height of the downrod.) He also gave me helpful advice about my options for replacing some hard-to-find bulbs for my ceiling lights. Overall great experience and will definitely be calling Ashpaugh for future electrical projects.

    The Ashpaugh Electric Team is our go-to electrical service provider. Most recently, Greg and Brennan were out to troubleshoot and make repairs due to arcing discovered by Ting, a service provided by State Farm. In typical Ashpaugh fashion, they were thorough, informative and professional. They know their stuff. In the past, weve had them install a Big Ass Fan and can lighting in our 20 ceiling. A feat JR & Derek executed beautifully. They have also installed outdoor lighting for us.

    Evan was my serviceman today. He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable.I had a ceiling fan replaced with a new LED light fixture…..I noticed it had a dimmer capability so I also had a dimmer switch installed as an add on. Evan was great and noticed the plate for that switch was not flush and tried to correct it. (The l switch box was the problem and had always been that way), but I really appreciated his attention to detail.He even noticed some minor debris on the carpet and picked it up!Also requested an estimate for moving two electrical switches in the living room. He took pictures and explained how they could approach the work.Over all highly satisfied with this company and have used them for several years now. I highly recommend them!

    I worked with JR and Killian today on my electrical needs. I have an older home and needed new fixtures hung, assessments on outlets, what needed replaced and what did not, wiring that was not working, they went through each room with and were very through make sure we did not miss anything.     We needed an electrician to repair two outlets that were not working and to check to see if our hot water heater, which was not working, was getting electricity. JR was the electrician. He arrived on time and started work immediately. He answered all of our questions and explained what he was doing and why. He repaired our two outlets and performed a maintenance check on our breaker box. He also checked to make sure our hot water heater was getting electricity. The fee charged for the work was very fair. We highly recommend and will call Ashpaugh Electric again for any electrical problems we have. JR was wonderful!

    I had JR out today from Ashbaugh. Not only did he fix all my outdoor outlets which was my chief complaint but he was able to address two other huge issues! I thought my outdoor lighting was majorly damaged, but he fixed that too.     As we have for at least the past five years, we engaged Ashpaugh to diagnose and fix our recessed LED lights in our kitchen. Installed two years ago, two flickered and stopped working. As we thought, the light switches were at fault and required replacement, so we had Ashpaugh replace all four of the LED fixtures. JR and Derek were professional, engaging, and careful with our furnishings and surfaces. Great guys.Ahpaugh is consistently prompt, fair, communicative, and professional.     Ive used Ashpaugh in my home for many years; any time I have an electrical issue, theyre all over it. Greg has been here several times, installing ceiling fans better than the prior homeowner had rigged them up, installing a new outlet in my pantry so I could put in some lighting, and other odds and ends. Greg has a partner now, Jeffrey, and the two of them are friendly and professional as all get out, efficient, clean, everything youd want and expect from an electrician. Scheduling is a bit of an issue only because Ashpaugh isnt open on weekends or holidays and theyre busy enough they cant often come out same day, but thats what happens when you do good work for people for a fair price. Dont hesitate to hire this company, theyll do right by you.

    Great job adding a bunch of 110& 220 outlets, sub-panel, and installation of garage heaters. The electricians were very nice & did a good job representing Ashpaugh.     Ashpaugh Electric is not like any other business I’ve worked with. When we lost power and heat in the middle of winter, Evan and Sam came to our house and got us up and running so we could work on restoring heat. Both gentlemen were polite, professional, and immensely helpful during this stressful situation. Soon after we had the pleasure of working with Greg and Jeffrey. Their work was exceptional and their demeanor kindhearted. Each electrician we worked with was informative, highly skilled, and especially patient with our dog.     The work, moving a couple of outlets in a new construction, got off to a bit of a rough start as there were some unexpected studs and funky construction details behind the wall. Some of this could have been avoided with some checking before cutting the drywall, but JR and Brandon made all good, making adjustments to the outlet installation to help maintain the desired symmetry. Additionally, they brought in a dry wall guy, at no extra cost, to fix the earlier cuts. All good in the end.

    I am grateful for the Ashpaugh Electric Team for successfully completing the updating of the exterior of my home. Installing new landscaping and exterior light fixtures was nearly complete in September; except the pole light did not light. What sounds like a simple fix turned complicated electrically. When I called the Ashpaugh Team, Greg, Jeffery and Brian shared their patience, knowledge and experience to resolve this mystery using deductive reasoning. One by one, possible causes were examined and eliminated until the matter was resolved. All along they were genuine, efficient, professional in how they communicated and provided service. I would go so far as to say they made the process fun! The related charges are fair and a good value. I am relationship-oriented when it comes to vendors and service organizations. So, I will certainly continue calling the Ashpaugh Team in the future!

    We called Ashpaugh Electric in Westfield to replace an existing chandelier with a new one. The distance from the floor to thelight fixture was 18 feet, 5 inches, which required a very tall ladder!Evan and Sam arrived right on time, and laid a tarp on the area they were working in, to protect our floor. They were definitely up to the challenge of the extreme height involved, and did an amazing job for us, at a very fair price!Evan and Sam are great to work with, very personable and 100% trustworthy! When the job was done, they disposed of our old fixture, and the box that the new one came in, and even swept the floor!     I researched for a while to find an experienced and trustworthy electric company. I picked three do bid on a project installing residential Infratech heaters. Ashpaugh sent a man named Dudley who was the most direct, knowledgeable, and transparent about time to do the job, materials, and costs. I scheduled weeks in advance. We had our porch lights upgraded to LED’s, changed out our bathroom light and fan combo, changed out 4 LED lights in the garage, and installed a 210 line in our garage.     When I first put in a request Brian the owner was quick to respond and had Tara the office rep send Steve, the Electrician out to perform a full quote analysis. Steve was very attentive to all my requests and provided options for recess lighting installation in my office and living room, as well as updating the existing recess lighting in my kitchen and around my fireplace. There was a bit of delay in getting my quote back, due to unforeseen issues but Brian was very quick to rectify the situation and apologized as well. Brian answered all my questions and Tara was very quick to get my service time booked at my convenience.     Ashpaugh Electric is THE BEST!!! JR and Killian arrived on time, introduced themselves, confirmed the details of the job to be done and got right to work.     We had a couple breakers damaged on our panel, one with an audible buzz when the air conditioner came on. I called Ashpaugh, and Micah came out within the next day or two after I was contacted by their scheduler. He was right on time and professional, and gave me an honest assessment. I had suspected it was time to replace the panel from a previous repair, and he confirmed it. He gave me an estimate right in line with what Id seen online, and adjusted the schedule for his other appointments to make time to replace the panel the same day. Devon delivered the parts quickly, and within an hour or so after arrival, he had gone to work replacing the panel.He was very professional, and careful. He also swapped the panel he originally installed for a larger one at no additional cost when the wire didnt quite reach where it needed to for code requirements. Again, Devon had the new parts back out quickly to make the exchange. I had fully expected to have an evaluation that first day, and have to schedule the panel replacement a week or two later, and planned to use the A/C less in the interim. But these guys were awesome. Ive used Ashpaugh before, and will continue to.

Dudley, the estimator, examined our wiring setup in details and devised a minimally invasive plan to route the new wires. Electricians, Ron and J.R., skillfully fished the wire up from basement, through the wall of the 1st floor, across the ceiling and back down on the wall of the garage.     I cannot recommend Ashpaugh Electric highly enough! There are many reasons they are so highly rated and I can’t say enough good things about them. Steve, Evan, and J.R. performed our work. They installed 3 ceiling fans, a dining room fixture, stairway pendant light, living room light, entryway light fixture, kitchen light fixture, a ring doorbell and ring floodlight, fixed a broken socket, installed new exterior lights, and installed a bunch of LED can lights in just 2 days. They even put dimmers on the lights and took care of all of the old fixtures by throwing them out. We were most impressed by the lack of cutting they performed when installing new fixtures. Because of our houses age, they had to route new wiring but they thought things through and made very specific and minimal cuts to our drywall.     I dont do many reviews, but had to share a great experience with JR and Kilian. I needed a couple of outlets added to my garage, and wanted to evaluate putting in a 240V heater. They were able to walk through my options and restrictions given most of my panel circuits were already allocated. They got my outlets installed the same day as the consult (clean installation), and provided a quote for a sub panel that would be required for a heater. They had to get in the crawl space and run 2 new dedicated circuits from the panel to my Sump Pump and backup sump pump.
