Totally trust and highly recommend this company. Unfortunately their prices seem to have doubled in the last three years, prepare for a wallet shock!

    My apartment manager (Hidden Creek) sent Steve out to take care of an advanced problem with my plumbing. He managed to clear a blockage over 50 feet from my toilet which likely cleared 2 if not 3 adjacent units from this significant issue. He was kind, professional and courteous, not to mention fast. Im so happy my management company sent them out after I knew I couldnt handle the issue on my own. Nice to have functional plumbing after 48 hours. Dobys plumbing seems like they have it together.     The guys (sorry that I didnt get their names) went to the suspected source immediately and thoroughly verified the problem. They had the parts and installed them, and checked and rechecked that everything was working properly. I enjoyed talking to both of them and watching them work.     Jared, Victor and Chris came to my rescue on a holiday weekend (of course). 1st Jared talked me through turning off the well pump at the breaker to temporarily stop the leak. Then Chris and Victor fixed the leak and had the water back running in no time. The bill was reasonable too, specially considering the holiday!!! We will continue to use Dobys for all our plumbing needs!

    Called around 7:00am on Saturday of the memorial day weekend. By 3:30 pm the new well pump was installed and we had water. This included removing and reinstalling a simple hand pumpon the well.I am very pleased the the whole interaction.

    I called Dobys Plumbing late on Friday October 5th and was surprised when someone answered the phone. I continued to be surprised when he offered to come out that night! I replied that wasnt necessary and we scheduled for a Saturday morning appointment. I learned on Saturday that the technician (Jared) who came out was the very same man who answered my call, I was impressed to say the least. Jared promptly diagnosed the issue and set out to make the necessary repair AND as importantly, repair the deficiencies that caused the well pump to fail. The service was amazing from start to finish and the price was fair. I now have a plumber that will take care of my well, my septic system and all my homes plumbing needs. If youre in need of any plumbing work call Dobys Plumbing, you will be glad you did!

    Steve and the crew at Dobys saved the day! Well, actually they saved the night, making it even more impressive. We had a septic backup flooding the basement after standard business hours. Within hours, the Dobys crew had pumped the tank, rotorootered the clogged line, and sealed the vent that had allowed the leak into the basement! 10/10 would hire again!!!

    Wow.I called at 1:25pm, spoke to the receptionist about my concern (main shut off valve) and asked for a ball park figure of the cost knowing they won’t know exactly what’s needed until they got here. She had to put me on hold to get someone who could get that figure, and after a moment picked back up and asked to call me back since she didn’t want me waiting on hold for too long. The entire call was ~3 mins (it’s relevant, trust me) and at 1:33 I got a call back from a technician. He had me text a picture of the valve and we talked about the different circumstances regarding my concern. At 1:54 he calls back telling me another tech who was in our area would stop by shortly. It’s 2:37, I’m finishing up this review because their tech got here, looked at the valve, tested it out and put my concerns to rest. Less than an hour from contacting them and my problem is resolved. That’s ridiculous. I’ll include a picture of the valve for reference of my concerns, but I’ve been waiting a week to get in touch (5 calls, 2 voicemails) with another plumbing company so you can imagine I’m pretty thrilled this is done.

    We took possession of a family home. This home had tenants that reported when they returned home on the 4th of July they had no running water. Thank goodness we found and reached Doby’s plumbing. One of their office staff answered our call and immediately put me at ease because we were at quite a distance from the house. (Out of state) They attempted to have someone respond that night however there were other emergencies. The next morning Ryan and Jordan responded, located the cause of problem, rectified it and provided us with possible future solutions. We were very pleased with their expertise and professionalism. Between the company and their staff earned a five star rating. It is comforting to know that if we need them they are there. Thank you Doby’s!!!

    Last night we had a septic emergency called the local septic company with their emergency number and was told we can’t come out until the next day there workers were working to many hours. My husband called all around the surrounding counties . Doby they answered they were so nice and understanding for a company that is not even in my town. They got the job done and I’m so grateful that the guys showed up even though it was 9pm. Being a cancer patient I need my bathroom. But I digress this is the company I’ll be using from now on. Very professional understanding and just super nice people. I highly recommend this company.

    I appreciated the women in the office who helped get the ball rolling on finishing the work up on my house. Emily was great to work with over the phone, easy to make payments with and they were communicative. I had dobys replace and update my water lines. There were several days scheduled where no technicians showed up. And thenI’d get put back on the schedule for a week out or more. I did not have a functional toilet for almost three months. I was thankful that Steve (the owner) stepped in, helped finish up the work, and got the job done. It took much longer than anticipated, but the lines look good.I would work with them again with hopefully less hiccups. I do appreciate the help. Thank you!

    The whole Doby’s staff did a wonderful job. We had a very complicated situation with our septic system which was also not in an easy place to repair. Over the course of months trying to get this permitted and resolved Doby’s was there with us along the way. We called them more than they probably wanted and they were very patient with us. Their prices were fair and reasonable and they worked with us given the situation. Steve, the owner, took several of my calls. They worked night and weekends on certain occasions to help. Every employee was wonderful and did high quality work. Kerry, who did the final repair was awesome and super talented with a strong work ethic.     We needed a septic tank pumped out for a backed up toilet that wouldnt go down for our grandmother. They worked us in that day and arrived around 2pm. The employee, a Mr. Gore, was kind, professional and very determined to find the septic tank. It was hot outside but he persisted until he found the tank, the lid being about a foot and a half down. He was alone for most of the job but he was one of the most hard working young men I have met! We appreciated him and Dobys for being willing to take care of my grandmother on such short notice. The price was not bad for the work that was done and we even got a small discount for paying with cash! I would definitely use Dobys again for a septic pump and request Mr. Gore to do the job. He was amazing!

But about an hour later I got a call back from dobys. They hustled to get someone available and ready to come out but I told them I already got someone else.     Highly recommend Doby’s Plumbing for excellent customer service, knowledgeable and very capable staff. We had 2 line breaks and a shutoff valve in a culvert that was damaged by a truck and subsequently buried. We called on a Saturday around 11am and the guys were here in Foscoe in about an hour. They resurrected the shutoff valve so we could put in a new pvc pipe and cap, dug up and fixed the 2 leaks and in the process uncovered an unknown issue from old plumbing still connected to current water line above the shut off valve. Both Ron and Ryan did a fantastic job. We had minimal cleanup, maybe 30 minutes, given all the digging. My neighbor and I share this well line and we are extremely satisfied with the service, expertise and workmanship. Thanks again!

    This local company was honest, fast and friendly in handling our plumbing request and very reasonably priced. The quote they provided was exactly what was charged. They cleaned up their work area afterwards and assisted us with understanding some of the unique plumbing needs of a home with a septic and well system.     Our issue was the hot water heater. We called three plumbing companies but Doby’s was only one to answer live. Appointment was set for 11:00 to 1:00 arrival time. Jared arrived at 10:20. I knew all was well when opening the door Jared was putting his booties on! Less than three hours later our new tank is installed we have running hot water old tank is out of here. Outstanding work ethics. FYI the other two plumbing companies we left our need and telephone number with have still never returned our call!

    Dobys came out to my house yesterday after my well pump was rendered useless by a lightening strike the previous night. My expectation was that I would have water back by Monday (this happened on a Thursday). Dobys came out the same day, replaced the pump and added all necessary insulation back to the well. They were professional and courteous the entire time. Will definitely be calling Dobys again for my plumbing and well needs!

    The ABSOLUTE BEST hands down in Ashe co. They were very quick to answer our call even though the lady told us that they were booked solid for the next few weeks. When we told them that we found what appeared to be oil in our well water she quickly shuffled a few things and got us scheduled for that afternoon. 2 hours later we had Ronald and his assistant here to locate the issue. After what was hours of digging, well past dark they were able to locate and pull our well. Due to our well being so old we opted to get a new one but we did have the option of them fixing the existing one. It was great to find a business like Dobys that did it all. The entire thing start to finish down to the grass seed and straw they put down before leaving the job. So grateful to Steven Doby and his team for all the hard work and long hours they put in (even had guys out here on a Sunday with temps never reaching over 7) in order to get our new well dug and us back into our home. I, for one, am a very happy customer that will be returning for any of my future needs.

    Dobys was the only company to call us back during a weekend well emergency. We had renters and needed to get our water up and running as quickly as we could. They offered late night service (which was declined after renters said they would wait until morning) even. They came in the morning and took care of it that day - We hopefully wont have another emergency, but if we do - we know who to call!

    Cant say enough about the customer service from Dobys plumbing. We had renters in our home in Blowing rock that reported a clogged shower drain. Simple task, not an emergency, but for a Airbnb renter and owner, it is an emergency. Called at 5:30 pm and they werent sure if they could come by. I missed 3 calls from them at 6:15 saying they had a tech that could come by now, but I missed the call.When I called back and spoke to Chris, he completely understood my dilemma and guaranteed me theyd fix it in the morning. Both Chris and the other tech Chris had the issue resolved by 9am the next morning.In a world dealing with unhappy people and a shortage of labor, I was blown away.     I had to get a well line spilt and ran. Unfortunately I called another company first (in June) and had them do an estimate, I kept getting told that they were backed up with no water calls. Then I got curious and called Bobbi Higgins. Thank god I did. I called then at the beginning of September and they were out doing the work within 2 weeks! I cant say how thankful we are. Really great team too and they did a great job!

    Honest and extremely service oriented. Steve, Shane, thank you so much for all your candor and service during the septic and well inspection. You being able to tell us what we were up against with the findings, what was needed to make it correct and providing us quotes for the services allowed us to see that this was not the home for us. Too many issues and a seller that would not acknowledge the issues, nor make the repairs to assure that what we were buying would not have huge headaches and potential cost down the line. If I can recommend one thing to people looking at property in Ashe County and especially up in Big Tree, it is get your well inspection first from Dobys. Then if it checks out, get the septic inspection. These before home inspection and certainly before appraisal. We would have save a bunch had we done so. Oh well, lesson learned. All my best to you guys and your crew.

    We highly recommend Doby Plumbing. We have an old mountain cabin that had a number of water issues, Chris and Chris came out on the scheduled time, found all of the problems, plus some more we didn’t know about, and fixed them all. They explained everything they were doing. They had to crawl into a very small space under our house. They did the job well and worked as a great team to get the job done. We will only use Doby and ask for the two Chrises in the future!

    Absolutely outstanding. They were extremely timely. Worked with the inspector and my bank. Helped me when I was left hanging by the mobile home company and havent had a bit of trouble with their work. Very professional,kind and treated me very well3 years later, they are still outstanding service. There was not a filtration system on my trailer. They came today and cleaned my lines and are going to install that. Great service and there was no hidden fees.I highly recommend

    Victor and Jordan were awesome!!! Diagnosed the issue and got to work and had the water back on in my house within a couple of hours! My wife and I have three children and we have gone 4 days without water, so saying we were relieved when the water came out the faucet is an understatement.     Great service. I found Doby’s plumbing on a Facebook post when I was searching for a emergency plumber on a Saturday. I reached someone right away, they gave me a time range and then met me right on time. They were kind and courteous and fixed my leaking pipes and gave me advice for how to maintain my plumbing in the meantime to avoid further issues. Highly recommend. I wish I could find a handyman and electrician just like them!

    We had an emergency plumbing situation, and Dobys Plumbing called us back on a Saturday within a few minutes of us leaving a message for them. Jared, came out to our home about 15 minutes later and quickly observed the situation, got the parts, and fixed the issue. I thought the cost was on par the situation and what was done. They were the only plumber in the area that responded quickly when we called and did a great job. Well definitely keep them on our speed dial the next time we need something done.

    Jared, and Jonathon showed up less than two hours after I called even though Im on the Tennessee side of watauga county. They diagnosed my problem within minutes and had my well pump replaced, re-wired, filter changed, and pressure tank serviced in only a couple hours. Keep in mind this was a Saturday, and we had no water when we woke up. These guys were great, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Those who are complaining about price should look into the cost of running a business, and appreciate that these guys are there 24/7.

    After calling 8 plumbers around Beech Mtn for an emergency service with no calls back even if they advertise 24/7 service, I hired Doby plumbing through Home Advisor. They answered the phone (already big improvement compared to peers in the area), they followed up (another big plus) and they did come and service our home the next day. They were courteous, did a great job and have a reasonable price. If I could give them a 6 stars I would. Do not waste your time with other plumbers, call Doby!
