    Our new home had a pretty small laundry room attached to a room which was too open to be an office and a little too small to be a guest bedroom. We had an idea to combine the rooms into a multipurpose space which would include a proper mudroom and perhaps a daybed for reading and a small bar, and Brandon brought the idea to life.Throughout the process Brandon kept us up to date on the next steps of the project, and was open and collaborative as we worked through the design. Brandon was patient and his recommendations really accomplished what we wanted. He always did what he said hed do and was responsive to answer any questions or concerns we had. This was our first time having a home improvement project done like this and we were a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. But Brandon walked us through all the steps, the timeline of different pieces, the decisions we would need to make, and communicated really well, which I really appreciated. I always felt like Brandon was on our side making sure we got the best value out of our budget hitting everything we wanted on our wish list. After the experience we had, Id certainly recommend Brandon to anyone looking to improve their home.Were overjoyed with the outcome. He took two lackluster rooms and completely transformed it into a functional and very attractive space. We still cant get over that this is in our house!

    Keener Customs remodeled our exterior including an addition. Our foreman, Scotty was nothing short of the best. He put himself in our shoes throughout the entire project while Brandon ensured our budget was considered every step of the way.

    Brandon did an excellent job in our bathroom. Our space was rather small and he recommended and designed a floor plan that utilized the space best. He is dependable and you can trust he is going to advise you of any delays or issues while he is working with you. I really appreciated he kept all areas super clean during demo and took the time to leave everything tidy prior to leaving for the day.I recommend Brandon and his company KennerCustoms without hesitation.     We hired Brandon and his team to help update a few things around the house. Brandon replaced the floor in our half bath and it turned out great! He is polite, professional and punctual! Always kept us updated with the project status and was quick to respond to questions we had! We will definitely be using him for future endeavors! Would highly recommend him!! The other area we needed was light fixture installs in each of the three bedrooms. Originally there were outlets powered by switch and no overhead lighting, but Brandon’s electrician was able to change that. He asked where we wanted them and put them there. He was very kind, professional and patient with us! Overall, this was a great experience that we hope to have again!! Thank you Brandon!!

    Hired them to fix some dangerous stairs. Very responsive (and theyll respond to email with email instead of a phone call), came out and gave an estimate when they said they would. They were thoughtful about the work and talked it through with us. Showed up on time, were pleasures to work with, and the work is well done. Definitely looking to them if I need similar work in the future.

    I cannot say enough positive things about Brandon and his work ethic. We hired him to complete a fireplace mantle renovation with custom built cabinets. With any renovations we ran into some demo issues we hadn’t planned (we originally wanted to keep the brick but when we started removing the trim around it there wasn’t another layer of brick behind it but a ‘hole’). Brandon was flexible and worked with us to ensure our vision of the project came to life. What I really appreciated was how neat he was before, during, and after he was done for the day. He ensured the demo space was contained and cleaned up any messes before he left my home. I have three young boys so the clean up really meant a lot. I’m really glad we hired him and I would definitely recommend Brandon!!!

    I hired Brandon for a big landscaping job at my house and was very happy with how it went. He arrived on time, was prepared with all the proper equipment, and worked efficiently to get everything done the right way. He left the job site clean as well. Would highly recommend to others.

    My garage walls were knocked off their foundation, base plates were rotted and a cement company poured concrete over the foundations(not proper).Brandon cut the concrete to expose the foundation, replaced the rotted baseplates, moved the walls onto their foundation, and replaced all the rotted garage wood siding.Brandon was considerate and conscientious during and after completing the job, he left the site cleaner then when he started.When I stated a concern he responded promptly and without hesitation, going above and beyond what I expected.I would not hesitate for a moment to refer Brandon Keener Customs to provide remodeling or home repairs!In a word: PROFESSIONAL!!!I couldn’t be more pleased!Jay BerkowitzFarmington Hills.

    Brandon installed my wood fence and my storm door. I am absolutely amazed at the quality of work he performed in such a short period of time. Brandon kept an open line of communication regarding the entire process from point of estimate, to projected start date and throughout the entire process of obtaining a permit to completion. There was never a moment I was left in the dark. Brandon is very reliable and prompt which I appreciate because that is a quality that is becoming hard to find.

    Brandon replaced our porch railing and the base of our columns which were rotting out. On a 1920s house where nothing is level or perfect anymore he did a great job. He was communicative, answered questions, worked with us to adjust and get the desired look and we’ll be having him back for many more projects!

    Brandon was incredible! We wanted to install custom doors in our existing wardrobe and he sourced the doors we were after, made the order and installed them. He has a great eye and the finished product is stunning! His work ethic and professionalism is impressive, every afternoon after he has worked on the project, the area was spotless and useable. He kept us updated with any delays for the doors and was communicating with us daily about his progress. During the project he also made time to hang and install large art pieces and exterior jobs for the front of the house. We are so happy with the work he completed for us.     Among the countless projects Keener Designs has done for us, this is my favorite. A gorgeous, practical, and timeless gift for my sons 1st birthday. This shopping cart has held up to regular use from a feisty toddler, and over a year later, still looks/works like new. You wont this craftsmanship or quality anywhere else.

    Brandon responded to a post I made on Next Door app, after a few stairs to our basement broke. Im so glad he did. The stairs were wonky from the previous owners and not secure, and fixing them was beyond my skillset. I had a hard time finding anyone who would take the small job. Brandon knocked out the entire repair and reinforcement in a day. Its stressful bringing contractors into your home because you arent sure if they will make the problem worse. Its nice when the opposite occurs. Brandon is very good at what he does, and hes a nice guy. You dont find that very often nowadays. I plan on using him for future work.

    Keener Designs did an excellent job on our deck and I couldnt had wished for a better contractor to work with. From the beginning of the project all the way to the end, Brandon communicated with me throughout the entire process. We never went more than a few days without talking about the project and what to expect during each one of his visits. Brandon takes pride in his work and it shows in every little detail. Brandon is committed in providing the best quality and service of work. I will definitely use Keener Designs again and again for future renovation projects.

    I found Brandon a few years ago through a neighborhood app, offering his handy services. He did beautiful work installing the crown moulding in our 1920s Craftsman. His work was professional, precise and prompt. He came to mind again, as we required stairs and deck off the back of our house. We really only wanted something thrown up to get us by and he delivered perfectly polished, hand built, beautifully crafted stairs and deck. His communication from the quote, permit process, project timeline, and manufacture was excellent. Always prompt to respond, truthful in expectation, and answered any question I had in detail. The small details do not go unseen with Brandons work either, even his cleanup job was top notch. I am thrilled with the results, and Keener Design will remain the first name I think of when I require work done around the house.     Brandon remodeled my master bath. He gutted it and started from scratch. He built walls for a new shower, dry walling and finishing them. He installed all new plumbing for the shower and for the new vanity. Brandon also added two new vanity lights with new electrical as well as an updated light switch for two lights and a new exhaust fan which he also installed. He installed a new toilet, painted the walls and door, and hung a wall cabinet, towel bar and door hooks.Brandon was very reliable and punctual. He was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. He welcomed my questions and discussed them easily. I would recommend Brandon for any project!

    When we purchased out first home, our front porch was rotting away. Keener Design responded promptly and gave us a fair quote. My wife and i are extremely happy with how our new front porch turned out. Brandon finished this in a weekends time with no hassle to us.
