    Superb experience. The HomeWiz team was phenomenal. Helpful, incredibly well informed, and friendly! They even called the Maine Efficiency office with me to discuss rebate options. The work was completed very quickly and I am so pleased with the quality of the installation! And added bonus was how neat they kept all their work (inside and out). Work was completed yesterday and I am SO toasty warm inside with my new mini-split system. I cant wait to use the AC in the summer!

    Homewiz went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased, the team we worked with was very friendly and informative. They installed a brand new Mitsubishi heat pump system. Works amazing! I appreciate the amount of time they spent researching and attempting to find a solution that would not require me to replace the entire Heat Pump system. They were professional and knowledgeable and I’m grateful to have my AC working again!

    I can’t say enough amazing things about the service I received from H.O., Dan, and Bobby. They not only arrived on time but were able to squeeze my family and I in urgently. With a new born on the way this meant a lot. They were extremely knowledgeable and efficient in their work. Not to mention the eagerness to answer any and all questions. I can’t speak highly enough about these gentlemen. Last but not least they were reliable in a time of need. As we all know needing work done on your home can prove to be impossible. With electricians, plumbers, hvac, etc not showing up or ignoring your calls. Homewiz did not. I will be utilizing homewiz for any future electrical work or problems.     We have worked with HomeWiz in the past. We recently had a problem with outlets not working in our sunroom. I called and LM on a Sunday afternoon expecting/hoping a call back on Monday. However, Dan called me back within 30 minutes. He walked me through some trouble shooting and I was able to get the power back on. The fact that Dan called back on a Sunday and patiently walked me through a fix speaks volumes about their service to me.

    Was having problem with new Generator. Thought it was gas company problem a month ago. When problem continued call Home Wiz again.     After 7 weeks of no air conditioning and numerous calls to contractors, Dan and his team came to the rescue. They were able to quickly assess, order supplies and get us scheduled. They were honest about what needed replacing now and what could wait. They were even able to fit us in between larger jobs, and wrap up earlier than scheduled, to accommodate a house full of guests. Extremely professional and friendly staff, I’d highly recommend and look forward to working with them in the future.

    This company really exceeded my expectations with their amazing and thorough work. They were able to fit us in for a heating issue that we were experiencing. They used their vast amount of knowledge to diagnose the issue and explained everything to us in a way we could understand and gave us our options,so very good communication on their part as well. They went right to work to solve the problem and everything was fixed within a very timely manner and now we have heat again.     I just had HomeWiz install a new Goodman duel AC/Heat pump system and I am very satisfied with everything. The Master Electrician, Howard was very good, focused and managed his team very well. Dan was also an excellent electrician and was the communicator, among a million other things. There was a third electrician, Robert who was also focused and very good. They removed the old unit and installed the new one. This included wiring, installing a new and larger amp, a disconnect and new breakers. They began their day at 8:30 am, arriving with a bobcat to move the units and were able to leave , after everything was tested, by 2 pm. I feel that was very good! I would highly recommend them for your AC and heating needs. Thank you HomeWiz for your great service.

    The work done for us by HomeWiz was terrific. We are completely delighted with their efforts. After 40+ years of faithful service, the engine on our attic fan died-right at the beginning of the summer season First, and most impressively, they responded quickly to our weekend inquiries and provided helpful and honest information. We promptly set up an appointment and they laid out our options with no pressure. Once we made our decisions they procured the new equipment and arranged it’s installation as soon as possible and at a fair price. Work was completed, professionally and cleanly, in one day, and we now are enjoying a new attic fan that cools our entire house at a fraction of our former operating costs. And, best of all, I no longer need to crawl into our attic to seal and unseal the fan cap twice every year! What a pleasure to work with the knowledgeable staff at HomeWiz.     Knowledgeable and versatile! Dan was a pleasure to work with and had so many ideas about our needs. We have an all electric house and tried to figure out if we needed a generator, a different efficient heat source, the pros and cons of baseboard vs vents vs fireplaces. He was exact with how many amps we use and which size generator we would need for which appliances we wanted to run during outages.

    In a world where a service call back is a major act of God...HomeWiz called back within 30 minutes of my initial call. They were very clear on their pricing policy for my issue (split air that was not cooling the way it should) and if I wanted to proceed. I was booked in for the following week. The owner and his son called saying they had an earlier opening on the sceduled day and were able to begin work two hours early. They carefully explained each step they were going through and why. They said they prefer to have the owners beside them so they can carefully explain what is happening. They were great to work with and I would highly recommend HomeWiz for any needed repairs.

Dan and Howard listened to my needs, inspired confidence with their expert advice, and clearly explained my options in terms of product type. They installed an external plug and transfer switch for a portable generator in February (bitter cold day!) under the time estimated. Two weeks later, my home lost power for a 14 hour stretch.     My a/c was not working properly and called Home Wiz . The owners Howie and Dan came to my home and explained everything to me so that I was able to understand what was needed.     Our experience with Homewiz was great. They explained every step of the process, installed recess lighting in most of our rooms on the mail floor in a timely fashion.     I reached out to HomeWiz on a Saturday, and Dan got back to me the next morning on a Sunday. I ended up not being able to use HomeWiz due to scheduling, however, Dan was kind enough to talk me through some serious electrical and HVAC issues discovered during a home inspection (note: home inspection not performed by HomeWiz). Providing guidance and expertise for free is unheard of, but Dan was kind enough to answer all my questions and make recommendations for other contractors. A few days later, I reached out to have Dan pressure check a quote from another electrician; Dan responded within an hour and provided solid advice which worked out in my favor.If youre looking for an electrical or HVAC contractor with integrity, level-headedness, and customer service, give them a call. Given my personal experience, this business is not out to grab your money.

    Dan and Howard were great from the very first communication. I reached out to them and within a day they responded and gave me a verbal quote over the phone (due to COVID precautions) before coming out to take a look at the project. I was having a generator installed and they were spot on with the original verbal quote. They ordered the generator and within a few weeks it arrived, just like they said it would.     I called Homewhiz because I was in need of having a circuit breaker repaired. They responded to my call and were at my house within an hour. As it turned out, I needed the whole circuit braker panel repaired inside as well as the ground , meter and all of the outdoor electrical repaired. They gave me two options and prices. One to repair the inside and one to repair both. They took the time to thoroughly explain the pros and cons of both options. I will admit, I was very skeptical, as I had never dealt with this business before. But they were so knowlegable and proffesional, I decided to go with my gut feeling and have both done. Im so glad I did. They explained every step of the process and showed me eexactly what they were doing. They were very upfront, showed up when they said they would and did everything that they said they would. They werent the cheapest but I believe in that old sayin, you get what you pay foan and his partner, sorry I forgot your name, were so accomodating .

    I had my heat pumps serviced this week by Dan and Bobby. They were very informative, explaining everything they were doing while they did it and and answering any questions I had. They even explained some options and pricing to update some heat pumps in my house. I’d recommend them for future business as they are very knowledgeable and personable to work with.

    Even though I did not wind up using their services in this particular instance, the representatives at HomeWiz were extremely professional and responsive. I called 6-8 other electricians and none were willing to make an appointment that fit my schedule or they did not return my call. The representatives at HomeWiz were extremely accommodating and explained their policies and procedures thoroughly. I plan on using them should the need arise in the future.

    Very response to our inquiries. The electricians arrived not just on time, but early! --- that always never happens when we have work done on the house. The technician identified the problem, offered repair options then fixed the problem swiftly. Home Wiz is not the least expensive., but like I said they show up You get an immediate call back and service appointment, so theyre worth the cost.
