Ken and team installed my whole house generator last November. I saw the investment as mainly an insurance policy that I would never need. Until Helene hit Asheville and my home on the morning of September 27.Herbie (yes, I named my generator) kicked into gear around 4 AM that morning. And ran like a champ until the following Sunday when, at midnight, it threw an error regarding oil levels. I panicked and left a voice message for Ken asking for help given I had neighbors without generators staying with me and had started feeding friends who had no power dinner every night.Ken called at 6:20 AM and I was never happier for an early morning ring. He had a team already headed to Asheville with about eight other jobs that day and worked me into the schedule. Herbie was back up and running in time for us to get ready to go to church.Haywood Services will always have my business. The video attached was taken at 7:30 AM in the morning of the Helene strike in Asheville. It’s self-explanatory.
