I recently had Home and Business Electric out to remove some old light fixtures and replace them with new ones. Jesse and Dylan were awesome to work with. They were punctual and personable throughout their visit. We had some lightbulb challenges (supplier issue, not H&BE) and Jesse took the time to review Menards website and recommend the bulbs that would work in our fixtures & would also provide the illumination we wanted. I will definitely use them again for future projects and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for electrical services.

I had Home & Business Electrical do two projects for me. One was a simple Nest outdoor camera installation with a couple of extra outlets. The second project was a more involved kitchen and dining room remodel project. For the remodel project we removed one old kitchen florescent light fixture and replaced it with two new pedestal lights, added 11 new 4 inch can light fixtures, and under cabinet lighting. The 11 can lights went in with very minimal if any damage to the ceiling, not sure how he did it? Old brass light fixtures in the entry way and dining room were replaced. The new dining room light fixture weighed 35 lbs. I was worried the weight would be a problem, but they installed the heavy fixture with no issues. The entryway light was also heavy and on 10 feet of chain. We relocated and replaced switches with new smart switches. At the end of the project everything worked and was understandable. Jesse’s experience and ability to make recommendations made it possible to work together to develop a solid light plan for our project. The result is amazing! Posted before and after picture below.

I had the BEST experience with this team! They are timely, professional, and very kind. Not only did Jesse take the time to answer my millions of questions but he also took the time to explain things thoroughly to me. He also recommended different options to us and proved that he really is an expert in his field. Amanda was great to work with for scheduling and so accommodating when we needed to reschedule due to Covid.The lights in our kitchen were originally on 5 switches for all 8 lights. It was a pain to turn them on but Jesse was able to rewire them and get them all on 1 switch. We also had them replace a light/fan in our kitchen, remove a light and move it to another nearby location, replace our hallway light, add a light to our bedroom and add all new lights to our living room. Our house looks a million times better and its big thanks to this team.I cant tell you how fortunate I feel to have worked with them! I am also at ease knowing that when I have any future needs, I have the best team to work with to accomplish them. Cant wait to work with this team again.

Consistently recommend this company to others as they are a local small business and do excellent work and at a reasonable rate. I used them at my previous residence and now my current residence. Amanda, Jesse, and Dylan have been great to work with! I have future electrical work for them but for right now the hazards from previous owners are fixed and I can rest comfortably knowing my home is safe for myself and my pups.

Home and Business Electric is a very professional firm from first call to completion of the job. I recently moved to Waukesha County from Texas and was referred to this firm by a family member. Good call! I had a list of needs including repositioning & replacing ceiling lights, swapping out a large bathroom ceiling fan & light as well as several cheap ceiling lights for can lights, and installing a new wall outlet. Master electrician Jessie did a site visit to review the work and create a very detailed estimate. I have had a great deal of electrical work done on my previous homes, and found the estimated cost to be reasonable. A small deposit was paid when I scheduled the work. Home and Business Electric is very detailed and professional in its written communications and policies. Jessie and his apprentice Dylan arrived on time and ready to efficiently move through the task list. While here, Jessie showed me some areas that will need future electrical work; he did his best to educate me (zero electrical IQ here) and was not at all attempting to scare up extra work. I know my 1957 home needs an overhaul of the electrical panel in the foreseeable future. Jessie and Dylan protected my hardwood floors as they worked, and meticulously cleaned up each room afterward. The entire team - home office and electricians - was easy to work with and did a wonderful job completing my multi-faceted project. Highly recommend! Props to Amanda in the office, and Jessie and Dylan for their work in my home. I will definitely hire this company again.

Weve had Jesse and Dylan work on a few projects on our home. Most recently, they came out the same day I called about an issue just to make sure our electric system was safe. When they determined it wasnt an immediate fire hazard we were able to schedule a time for them to fix it. Scheduling with Amanda is always so easy, and she is always so pleasant to talk to. They were always on time, worked efficiently, and left no mess behind. Jesse is very good at explaining what he is doing. Weve had multiple different companies work on our house during a major renovation, and Home and Business Electric were easily the best.

We had them come out to check out an outlet that we thought was faulty because our dishwasher wasn’t working. They did a quick inspection of a few other areas and soon realized we had some serious problems with our panel, and the way some previous electricians did shoddy work. They got us on the calendar as quickly as possible for some immediate work to make sure our house didn’t fry itself. They very quickly replaced our entire panel and also fixed a couple other items that needed attention right away. Fair price for very good work. Now we just need to have them do some ‘non emergency’ work on the other issues we have. I highly recommend.

I cant say enough good things about Jesse, Dylan, and Amanda! I was recently having flicking issues with some of my lights in my old house. I called Home and Business Electric and they were able to come out to my house right away and fix the issue the same day.It was discovered that my old Electrical Panel was going bad. Jesse and Dylan took the time to explain each each option to me and provided me several different quotes on replacing our existing Panel at a very fair price.On the day of installation Jesse and Dylan arrived on time and got right to work. Throughout the day they kept me informed on their work progress and if they ran into any issues. They did excellent work and very happy with the Panel they installed . I am also very happy that the price Home and Business Electric quoted me was the price that we paid. This is the second time that we have had Home and Business Electric do electrical work at our home. Over the past two days, Jesse and Dylan installed new can/recessed lighting in our kitchen as well as under-cabinet lighting. They also installed new dimmer switches and receptacles. Our kitchen (32 years old) now looks like a modern and revitalized space. They were punctual, clean, and extremely helpful when discussing our kitchen renovation project. Amanda was also very helpful in setting up the scheduling and coordinating of this job. I highly recommend their work and would definitely call them again for any future electrical work we may need.

Jesse installed pendant lights in my kitchen. After completing the job, recommended adding can lights to the rest of the kitchen. It was a fantastic idea! Whole kitchen looks like it got an update with just the simple change in lighting. Jesse is super knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything- goes above and beyond to answer other questions regarding electric. In the process of doing my can lights noticed issues with electrical panel and recommended fix to make it safer. Will be having him back out to do that shortly! Amanda is wonderful setting appointment and communicating to you regarding it. Reasonable priced (came in less than other quotes for same work). Will now relay on for all my electrical needs.

We needed an outlet put in above our range for a new microwave. Called them up and they we were able to schedule quickly and easily. They didnt charge us for a consulting fee or visit fee which was amazing! The job ended up being more complicated due to the previous owners work on the electrical (Jesse and Dylan graciously relabeled our mess of an electrical box for us). I was worried it was going to cost an arm and a leg, but they handled it quickly and professionally with minimal additional cost. They were so quick, and the price was right so we had them do a few additional outlet updates while they were here. They also provided a series of recommendations for projects to look at for the future (things far cheaper to upgrade than to repair) including upgrading our panel. Very knowledgeable, professional, and clean. We will definitely be using their services again. Could not be happier with the results!

Very happy to have met Jesse, Owner and Proprietor of Home & Business Electric. A referral from a friend and neighbor, he came and straightened out a mess we had from sub-par wiring done years prior. Our bathroom fans were wired in such a way, that we could not control them from the wall switches, in the respective rooms.Long story short, we learned that Jesse not only knows his trade Very well; but we was able to trouble-shoot like no one else had been able to! He thoroughly explained what he was going to do; had the parts on his truck to do it; and explained what he did: to make the fans work - how they were designed to.
