He was always here when he said he would be and he worked very hard throughout the entire process. He was extremely detail-oriented and made sure everything fit properly and to our liking! Our basement remodel project was very complicated due to a variety of reasons, and one of the great things was how open and willing he was to brainstorm together to find the best solution. Ken did excellent work installing our cabinets and paid close attention to detail to ensure a high-quality installation. Ken communicated well and was sure to get our input as needed. Ken definitely has a passion for what he does & it shows in his work. I needed some repair to some pipes above a linen closet in my 1930’s bungalow home. I wanted to restore the original look after the plumber did his thing so I salvaged what/all that I could. A few drawers, doors, frame and some trim.Finding someone who seemed like they could handle the task seemed hopeless. Many looked but suggested other “ideas” that didn’t satisfy my want for the original look. After a referral from someone whose opinion I trust, I met Ken. He was professional and courteous before, during and after he was done with the job. I told him what I would like and he accepted the task. I handed him pieces of a puzzle, showed him before during and after pics and he went to work. Put it back together perfectly.The saying “You get what you pay for” isn’t true when working with Oak Park Carpentry “You get MORE than you pay for” Total value!! I plan on requesting Ken and his services in the future.
