    I needed a couple surveillance cameras installed at higher heights at my residence as well as “winterizing” the cables.First time using Mr. Handyman. I used a couple apps like Thumbtack and Taskrabbit. Had issues booking people, because most of them had late or poor communication. I also wasn’t waiting 2-3 days for a response back on if they could do a job or not.I found Mr. handyman online. I made a request, and they got back to me within 24 hrs and scheduled my job I needed done. I like the assurance with the licenses, insured, and communication, as they kept me updated the day prior to the appointment as well as updated time of arrival the day of. Justin S and Bill A came out. When they arrived, they confirmed exactly what I needed for the job, including some helpful advice on what they wanted to do for a better job. They got it done pretty quick and the work was very efficient.They’re obviously priced higher than some of the local help, but you get what you pay for. I would be happy to use them again for a little peace of mind that the work gets done correctly.

    I had Mr. Handyman do my walk in closet. In picking up the supplies, I didnt know what I was doing, it turned into a bigger project than I had planned. Chris came over and sorted through the materials, smoothly put together the shelves and closet poles with ease. Chris made it seem like it had already been all planned out. It was amazing! Chris worked quickly and efficiently. Excellent craftsmanship!

    We needed some door repair work done. Chris was the technician and went above and beyond to get our storm doors repaired and working well. He also reviewed another job and didn’t try to talk us into anything we didn’t need. We will definitely contact them in the future.

    Appreciate Handymans assessing the soffit vents , coming up with options and even tho did not need his service after contractor who put in house siding and gutters came to my house when Handyman was here, stating that work was done to code , properly .Seeing that bathroom vent to attic was off , Handyman fixed that .The serviceman was willing to fix soffit ,but graciously understood it was not needed.Because of how well he handled the situation , I would strongly recommend Handyman services...as I will make my own list of projects that they can tackle.

    Needed a new dryer vent connected to my dryer. Brent showed up promptly and assessed the situation, the materials that I had purchased ahead of time, and was able to replace the dryer vent hose and ensure it was sealed completely to prevent any critters from getting into my house. He was friendly, explained everything and worked quickly.

    Except for pricing, which is open to discussion, everything couldnt have been better. Scheduling, showing up on time, professionalism and even a bit of humanity (not to go over board) was a good experience after the light fixture decided to exit the ceiling. As to pricing. Were all going to think a small job should be priced cheaper. But in the end, they got here. Overcame one or two hurdles. Helped me with an issue in MY timeline. And Im sitting on my porch writing this with my fixture back on the ceiling. Im extremely happy.

    I just had Tom K service some aluminum siding that was loose on the side of my house. He arrived on time, very friendly, and let me know what work needed to be done to secure the siding. Everything was finished, looks great, well done and secured in appropriate time. Work was very reasonably priced. I paid $2,000 to a company a few years ago for the same area to work on that obviously didnt do the job well. 🙄. I cannot thank Tom K and Mr. Handyman enough! I will call again soon to fix many of the other projects around my house.

    I contacted Mr. Handyman for service to replace the existing vanity/sink/faucet in an upper duplex. The old existing plumbing was also way past its prime. Their tech, Brad S., did an awesome job!     Very happy with the service from this company. I had a good initial online chat to give information for my project (screen door rescreening) which was followed up the next day with a call as promised to schedule.     He was thorough and knowledgeable, although a bit hard to book because he is so sought after for his skill - and I can see why! Completely fixed the shoddy cut-corners job our previous floor installation company did.     After a crazy wind storm we had a piece of siding come off near the top of our house. I called numerous siding companies but none would repair siding, just do a full house replacement. I was referred to Mr. Handyman and was very happy with the entire experience. I spoke with Jennifer initially. She was extremely knowledgeable, and after I sent over the pictures of the damage gave me their price which seemed reasonable for the work needed. She booked us for a few days out but then called the next day with an opening they had so the technician came out 2 days early. He was done in about an hour and you cant even tell there was damage. My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the job and will definitely be using Mr. Handyman again for any minor repairs we need.

    Handyman Mark worked hard to ensure professional installation of a very large wall mirror and artwork on a wall over a stairwell. He also worked long and hard on installing a storm door that presented several problems. He worked through them all.I would advise future customers to be very clear in communications with Mr. Handyman to avoid my mistakes. I initially told them the mirror weighed 65 pounds, when in fact it was only 36 pounds. They sent two Handymen out and the second one was not needed. So I was charged for the time and travel fee for the second unnecessary worker who did no work at all. Secondly, I did not know that the brand of storm door I purchased and had delivered on my own (Larson brand) is especiallly challenging for installation. It does not come pre-drilled and is very difficult to install. Mr. Handyman later told me that the usual installation time for storm doors is usually about one hour. Mine took over 5 hours which ran the bill up considerably. I basically paid two and a half times more than the door purchase price to have it installed.So again, workmanship was good and Mark tried very hard to get everything done professionally. Miscommunication regarding the brand of door caused my problems.Also, I should have looked for a handyman closer to my residence (Hartford, WI), instead of paying travel time from this service based in Waukesha.

He was very conversational, asked where to put the removed door while making track adjustments, and fixed it in no time. He then offered to help with anything else, and was able to quickly hardwire my home speaker system. Ill definitely be looking to this team if any repairs come up down the road.

    My husband and I hired Mr Handyman to put a second coat of stain on an addition that was finished in March of 2013. Marty, the owner came first and left ladders for his men to use, great guy. Dave and Gary were the two that did the staining. We were amazed at how quickly they got the job done. It would have taken us two days probably, and our not having to tackle the height in which we would have gone up was wonderful not to have to think about. They were very professional, personable, neat, and cleaned everything up when they we,re finished. They will be our first call in the future for any other jobs that we can no attempt ourselves, or dont have the knowledge to do. They are a blessing!!!

    I like Mr Handyman! They do a good job, no haggling, friendly service, etc. and you get a lot for the money. They do not try to up sell the customer. They are a lot easier to work with than many other companies.In general, good service, on time, and the job got done. But I do recommend that customers buy the necessary replacement part themselves. Mr Handyman does not always do the best job of guiding people to figure out the appropriate purchase.

    We had the siding on our home repaired. The bottom strip of aluminum siding had developed an issue over many years. Mr. Handman was abled to remove the old siding and replace it with a new strip that was formed on the job that corrected the issues we had before. The new siding was attached to prevent better security from any outdoor rodents which was our main concern. We received an honest estimate, which ended up being underrun. The work was performed by two technicians, one of whom was a siding expert. We were kept informed as to the progress on the day of installation and given an opportunity to inspect the work prior to completion. The work was very high quality and the techs were knowledgable and friendly. It was a pleasure to work with them.

He secured it all in a timely fashion. The bill ended up being $10 less than the estimate. Steve was an excellent worker, neat, and courteous. My wife is a self employed beautician and took Steves business card to display on her corkboard.
