After a lot of searching and gathering estimates, we went with Creative Building for cabinet refacing. Scott and his wife were fantastic people to work with. They were knowledgeable professional, and pleasant. Both were super nice and made sure the work area was as neat as possible and that our home remained livable. They really make a great team! The job took about 3 weeks but it was well worth it. My kitchen is beautiful and I couldn’t be more happier!

The cabinets are beautiful and it’s now my favorite room in the house. I wanted a vintage look and they went above and beyond to help me get my dream kitchen. Definitely recommend this company! Had Creative Builders in to update and reface our kitchen cabinets. Mike came on the first day to complete exact measurements and removed existing doors and drawer fronts. For the next 3 days work of refacing took place. Work was completed very professionally, looks great. Minimal after work cleanup necessary. Can not be happier with our new kitchen and with the team from Creative Builders.

Matt was uniquely qualified and professional. His workmanship was first rate as was his general demeanor. The masterbath turned out to be a true showpiece. Creative building sent Eric Lambert to remodel our bathroom. He was considerate and professional. He single-handily gutted our 1949 original bath - cast iron tub and all. Eric was very knowledgeable. He did the plumbing, electric, tile and drywalled our coved ceilings. This project was completed in 4 weeks with Eric alone. Highly recommend!

Creative Refaced our 48 year old kitchen. Our kitchen is centrally located in the house. Mike our installer was very professional and made sure that dust and dirt created by the necessary sanding was well contained and controlled. He managed the onsite installation and completed it in 6 working days. The result was outstanding all doors were well aligned and functioned properly. He cleaned up and made sure everything was completed as per job requirements. Mike works quickly and methodically and is extremely well skilled in kitchen work. Good to know that there are still highly skilled tradesman available to do this type of work. Everything fits well. (28 doors and 8 drawer fronts.)

These guys were great. Todd, Mitch, Mike. Lorrie (probably forgetting a couple more names) and the team were fantastic to work with. Off the bat their prices were very competitive compared to other companies. Probably wouldve costed us another 5-10K going with a bigger name company. They completed the kitchen in a good amount of time, were clean, always kept me in the loop. The final product looks amazing. Highly recommend working with these guys.

Had creative tear out and completely remodel our 1930’s bathroom. Norman and Matt were practically family by the time the job was done, and they literally turned a bad experience with this company into a good one. As for communication and timeliness, get everything in writing. There were issues to the moon and back with what the salesperson told us and the actual job. The takeaway is that this company has fantastic contractors, and they really do great work. Just document everything and anticipate for an up to 6 month wait for work to begin.

Creative Building & Remodeling did an update to our 25 year old master bathroom. They replaced the tile shower stall, vanity, counter top and sinks, and installed a customer-provided toilet. We chose not to do the floor tile to keep the costs down, and they worked with us even though it was not a full remodel. Creative did an excellent job, and Tonys tile work in the shower stall was outstanding.

We had a positive experience with Creative Building and Remodeling refinishing our old cabinets and getting a new quartz countertop. The consultation process was friendly, informative, and not rushed / low pressure. The price was very fair especially considering the inflationary environment that exists today. Scott Nottingham was our primary skilled tradesperson on the job and he is highly skilled, does careful work, and was very respectful of our home with zero damage. He and his wife are fantastic, and they worked around our weird schedule. We are pleased with our updated kitchen, and would not hesitate to use Creative and Scott again in our home or recommend to friends/family. 5 stars! I am not including a photo because the job is still in progress with work remaining we are doing ourselves.

When they were done, I was already in love with my new kitchen. The counter men were very good and then came Tony with the tile. When done, even with a mistake, the kitchen looks beautiful and we are very happy. It was worth every penny!

Anything you asked Scott for he delivered. Im extremely picky when it comes to jobs like this and I cant say enough great things about the job they did. They were very courteous and respectful. Im also pleased how clean they kept the area as they went along. Mandy was constantly vacuuming and sweeping every time I came out to look at their progress. Cabinets look brand new in white Shaker style that we went with vs the old golden oak we had from the 90s. Looks like a totally different kitchen. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Creative Building & Remodeling was hired to reface the original cabinets in my home with cherry wood, replace doors/drawers (soft-close), add sliders to pantry, and reconfigure some cabinets to drawers. Scott and his wife installed the job and did an excellent job! They kept everything clean and ensured dust didnt pass the kitchen at any point. They respected my home and protected anything existing not being remodeled. They asked for my input along the way with regards to placement of handles, moldings, lighting, etc... Even when challenged with tough cuts in the crown due to other molding/crown trim on doorways or around windows Scott new exactly how to make cuts so everything was exceptional. They are proud of their 28 years experience and take pride in what they do. Scott and his wife are a true asset to Creative Building & Remodeling! We had Creative completely tear down and rebuild our bathroom in January 2023. The tub was replaced with a walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling tile, along with everything else redone. Almost everything was handled by Norman, and Im very happy with how it turned out and how fast it came together considering the size of the job. He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Can easily recommend.

Ahead of schedule, Mike & Dave arrived on time, cleaned up and worked without breaks to complete a total kitchen reface to include counters, additional build of a pantry and re-work of the wall mounted oven. They did a phenomenal job and I will bring them back to redo 3 bathrooms. The first tile man could not work with glass tiles so when I did not want him back, the owner sent in another tile man, Tony who completed the job in a few hours, cut the glass tile with no problem and went out of his way to do the tile work to perfection. I will definitely request this same team of men to do my bathrooms. Do not hesitate to hire this company - they are the best.2 years since my kitchen remodel, I brought Creative back, during the pandemic, and they did another incredible job. This time on the master bathroom. Brett & Tim were the demolition and rebuild crew. They were professional, extremely clean, worked very hard and always showed up on time. Lorrie kept everything moving smoothly when it came time for Tony to come in and once again, do an amazing tile job. Even when the original tile ordered months ago was unavailable, Tony & Lorrie worked hard to resolve it and give great options. Last was the full shower door installed by Ken. He gave me great advice on customizing. My bathroom is even better than I expected! This company is professional and worth every penny they charge. 1 bathroom done - 2 to go!

This was my first major home renovation and decided to go with Creative. I liked that they offered a few ideas when they came to my home and I thought my sales rep would be available throughout the project. After signing the contract that was pretty much the last I heard from him, even after a few challenges along the way, not one word. Communication from Creative needs to be improved! Many homeowners are new to the remodeling world and having regular communication would greatly enhance the overall experience. Luckily the crews they have working for them are GREAT. Tony, the floor tile guy, was AWESOME - he was helpful and willing to do what he and his team could to make the floor perfect. It was even better when they complimented me on my tile choices. Ken and worker were equally as good... offered a few suggestions, made some recommendations on some ideas and made sure things were right and that I was happy before they said they were done. Mike and Mitch were also very helpful and once they knew something wasnt right they called and corrected it. I would use them again but would have a very detailed description from the sales person on what is included in the cost of the project. Overall, I love my new kitchen.

I recently had my kitchen cabinets refinished by creative building and remodeling. It was a challenging task because we have a lot of cabinets and old plumbing. Luckily we had the best guy for the job. Scott was very detailed and meticulous with his work. Im not sure who reads this review, but if its creative building and remodeling you guys definitely dont need to worry about Scotts quality of work. As for customers that may read this, go with creative building & remodeling and definitely request Scott to do the work.

Creative exceeded our expectations for our kitchen and bathroom remodeling, including refaced cabinets, new countertops, backsplash, and flooring. Our sales rep Brian was very helpful with ideas to keep to our budget including refacing instead of new cabinets, and great design input including backsplash tile selection, granite kitchen sink, and even where to go for kitchen faucet selection. Scott and Mandy were an awesome team with outstanding workmanship, attention to detail, and keeping the worksite clean. Scott explained everything and asked for our input to make sure all was done the way we wanted, including full width slide out cupboard drawers! He even added a trim piece to make the refrigerator look built in, and re-framed our kitchen window to match the cupboards! Scott and Mandy also did an outstanding job refacing our bathroom vanity and adding a granite top. Our backsplash tile guy, Shawn, did a perfect job and made sure to get our input on the design before starting. The flooring looks great, Ron also got our input on tile layout before starting. Overall, we had a great experience, done in 3 weeks from start to finish. Highly recommend Creative!

We had Creative remodel our kitchen back in 2005 and did such a wonderful job, it was a no brainer to have them come back and do our bathroom in our new house. And as before it was a wonderful job. Jay did the demo, and prep work Tony and Tim did the tile work. They all answered all of our questions and explained how things were getting done. The bathroom looks GREAT. Thanks for such a wonderful experience, again. The one thing I would suggest is have someone (sales, office staff etc) give us an approximate time the bathroom would be down, just so we can make sure our schedules were covered. Thanks again!!

Tony Seguna installed the backsplash in one day. It looks so good with the rest of our kitchen. He did the job right including the area around the microwave and behind the stove. I recently had my small kitchen remodeled by Creative. The design and planning was a snap with assistance provided directly by the owner. The project began about a week after it was projected to start, but once they started, I had a finished product 8 days later. Scott Nottingham did a marvelous job refacing my cabinets in my kitchen. Called or texted each morning to let me know when hed be arriving. The work area was kept neat & orderly and he and his partner took extra care to ensure my quartz countertops were protected while working. Workmanship was excellent, and the quality of the materials used by Creative is very good. He made sure all cabinetry hardware was installed in the manner I requested, too.Creatives pricing is competitive. Dont get me wrong - kitchen cabinet refacing is inherently expensive, but I feel the quality of the materials and workmanship was commensurate with the price I paid. I received a quote from Home Depot as well, and Home Depot wanted $2500 more to do essentially the same job with similar quality cabinetry. Glad I made the decision to support a local business instead!

I hired Creative because of their good reviews and reputation . I have a small bathroom , so they demolished completely and had install everything new , tub , vanity , toilet , drywall . I am very satisfy with the job . The team that came to my house were David and Tom , they were very careful transporting materials back and forth . They set things up for the tile team , Tony and Mike . They did a wonderful job with the tile , around the tub and the floor . The tile is install over hardboard from the top of the tub to the ceiling and on the floor as well , but not before 3/4 plywood was install on the floor by David . After the tile ,David came and finish with plumbing and cabinets installations . The job took a total of 2 weeks and one day , it was what the salesman told me originally , between one and two weeks . In my case I believe that the Labor Day weekend delay the project a bit . It takes a bite on your budget but it was worth it . I would definitely recommend Creative . If you have only one bath , plan ahead and accordingly , like taking baths at a relative house or rent a cheap motel close by. As far the toilet they can temporarily set it for you before they leave for the day , and its final installation will take place the last day on the job .

I cant stress how thoughtful and thorough Tony and his crew, and Eric and his crew were. These guys all treated this job as if they were doing their own bathroom. When I made comments about what solid workmanship they were doing, they would remind me that it has to last for 10 years which is what they guarantee their work for. I will tell you this company is off the charts on their quality and workmanship, would recommend them for any bathroom project.

Our contractors did an awesome job remodeling our kitchen, we were very impressed by Mike, his dad, and Todd (the tile guy) and would recommend this company solely based on their work.I have to note that the communication from the office was somewhat lacking. For such an expensive and extensive project, I expected a little more guidance from the company so we could know what the timeline/plan was. From not having a set starting day until 3 days beforehand, to not knowing when certain things would be happening during the project (Granite install, tile install, etc.), we were kind of left in the dark until I either called to question or when I made a comment to the project satisfaction surveyor over the phone. Overall, were happy with our kitchen and their price was the best out of all quotes we received, but better communication could have left us with less frustration during the process.

After considering a number of contractors to reface the white cabinets in our transitional kitchen, we selected Creative based on the visit by Todd Olsey. Shortly thereafter, Jerry came out to perform final measurements, walk us through the process and timing estimate. The install team of Scott and Mandy Nottingham were a pleasure to work with. Daily communications (phone/text) were great. They went out of their way to correct original intall issues with the existing cabinets prior to refacing. They were very careful to protect new quartz countertops, porcelain floors and minimize dust/adhesive vapors outside of the kitchen. They cleaned up the work site daily. The new white refaced cabinets, new doors and hardware look fabulous. Highly recommended.

I had two bathrooms remodeled by Creative. My crew was Mike and Ken. Dave was my salesman. Dave did a great job helping us design a new layout and aiding us in picking out materials and colors. The displays in the showroom were especially useful in helping us visualize the finished product. I cannot be more satisfied of the work done by Mike and Ken. First of all, they are very respectful of your home, keeping it as clean as possible despite the dust and dirt that comes with demolition and construction. Second, the quality of their work is extraordinary. Both gentlemen are perfectionists who take pride in their work. Every little detail is paid attention to as if the work was being done in their own homes. Also, Mike and Ken work hard. They show up when they are supposed to and work without many breaks. There is no goofing off or delay due to laziness. Our project was completed exactly to the timeline we were given at the start of work. The lines of communication were always open to be sure our goals were being met and that we we happy every step of the way. If anything needed to be adjusted, it was done without complaint. I couldnt have asked for a better experience with a contractor. Mike and Ken are skilled, dedicated workers and I thank them for their efforts.

While there were hiccups along this long process to get to the point of completely gutting and remodeling my entire bathroom...I couldnt be happier with how everything turned out. The contractor Creative hired, Norman Gomez, is a master at what he does. He came everyday, listened to my concerns and my questions, made a few suggestions of his own and worked like a horse while he was here. I feel I have the most calming, beautiful bathroom Ive ever seen. He was skeptical with my choices of a muted seafoam green on the sink, floor and shower but in the end, he even thought it was beautiful. Norman is gem and I would highly recommend him for anyone. Thanks Norman for giving me such a magical place.

Tony did absolutely beautiful tile installations on our bathroom floors, oversized tub surround, and shower, as well as the kitchen backsplash, and the kitchen, dining area, and rear entry floors. Jay did work which included completely tearing out the existing kitchen and bathrooms and installing cabinets, constructing a new wall for a pocket door, and a new wall opening for a pass-thru window. Both men are very decent and trustrworthy people who were a pleasure to work with. Their work was truly transformational and worthy of all the compliments.

We had both our bathrooms remodeled in November 2018, starting the week of Thanksgiving and finishing up around December 15th.First of all, the contractor, we were assigned to, Jay and the tile guy, Tony were absolutely AWESOME to work with. We feel like we hit the lottery with these guys. Both of them are extremely nice guys, who take the time to listen if you have questions or concerns and help you work thru them without making you feel stupid. They are very meticulous about everything they do and they are very clean. Ive talked to both of them since the job has been done about some minor things and they have always been very responsive and helpful with anything we have asked or been concerned about.I wish our salesperson would have been more involved in the process. When we first met him we felt like we clicked, but we never heard from him when the projects started, during them or even afterwards to make sure we were happy. I contacted him about an issue with had with the granite company (below) and never heard back about our concerns or what the outcome was. When I asked for additional information on an extra invoice we received, all I got was a picture of the paperwork that he filled out, nothing else. Yes, it gave me the info I needed, but a hello, here you go or even sorry it took me a week to get back to you would have been nice.Creative partners with Extreme Granite & Marble at 15 & John R and we would NOT recommend them. We chose the granite for the half bath countertop in September 2018 at Creative. When our project started ,we got a call from Extreme saying that our granite choice had been discontinued months before and we needed to come in and chose something else. When we got there, the sample of what we had originally chosen was still out on the showroom floor, yet Pierre could not explain to us WHY it was still there if it was discontinued. He just walked away from us and then had an attitude with us the rest of the time we were there. We ended up going outside where the remnants were, and chose a piece of quartz, but he refused to have it moved so we could see the whole piece instead of just a few inches of it. We had chosen everything in the bathroom around the original granite and could not change the tile for the floor so we were nervous about it matching. Luckily it looks nice, however, they told us that quartz does not chip, which is incorrect. There were a couple of small chips that we found after it was installed. When the person came out to fix it, he reeked of cigarette smoke, he looks very sloppy and is not professional at all. He left a small chip on the edge of the counter and when I told him to fix it, he argued with me, and when I told him to fix it again he yelled out Oh My God! like I was being unreasonable. He finally did fix it to my satisfaction, but he was very unprofessional about it. I am convinced that our granite went to someone else and that is why we were told it was discontinued yet the sample was still there, and at Creative as well. I’ve brought it up, but cannot get a straight answer.Lori, who I believe is the office manager is difficult to work with. She is rude, and will tell you on the phone I have no idea, I have never been to you house, which is the response I got when I asked about an additional invoice we received. During tile installation, I called to ask about shower door dimensions, so that Tony could figure out the border placement inside the shower and she said that they were standard size. I asked her to give me the dimensions and she sighed, making it a point that she didn’t have time for me. Again, shes rude.Overall, we are happy, and that is only because of the great work and work ethic that Jay and Tony have. Again, we feel like we hit the jackpot with these guys. Besides Jay and Tony, we have also worked with Mike and Mitch, and we appreciate them being on top of anything we have contacted them about, and the speedy response to come out and fix the few minor things that have come up since this project wrapped up.

It took a little longer than expected to get the job started, but we didnt mind because we knew they were using their own guys who knew what they were doing. The work progressed quickly after getting started. We ran into a problem when it came time to install the countertop because no one was able to be home, but the owner of Creative went above and beyond the call by coming to our home and letting the workers in. He even locked up the house when they left. I highly recommend this company for your remodeling needs.

Overall, the quality of our master bathroom remodel was excellent. The Creative staff -- from Ken and the glass crew to the carpenters who built the new cabinets to Brett, Jim and Tim in all facets of construction -- was very professional, friendly, prompt, were on the job every day and did their best to produce a fine end product with minimal mess in our house along the way. And Tony The Tile Guy was a star. He asked questions, answered questions, made suggestions and took great care like he was working on his own home. These guys did a five-star job.The only weak link was the salesman/general manager who continually dropped the ball -- from completely misinforming us when the job would get started to completely underestimating how long the whole project would take to finish once it actually did get started. With a few other surprises along the way. Fortunately Jerry, the owner, got involved with solutions when they were needed.

We contracted Creative to reface our 1980s Kitchen cabinets back in September 2021. The job entailed laminate material for a new modern look, new crown molding, new doors, and hardware (hinges and handles). Jake Meister was our Sales Associate. He was very easy to work with, professional, and responsive. He even met with us after hours since we work during the day. Admittedly, we were skeptical of doing a refacing as opposed to installing all new cabinets but also wanted to reduce the total cost of the job and not damage newly installed granite counter tops. Jake was very patient and thorough in describing the process, its benefits, and ultimate quality. Due to COVID, labor was not available to begin the work until March of 2022 which was frustrating but understandable. Josh Eckerle was the tradesman that did the entire remodeling / refacing job single handedly. He was professional, efficient, clean, and skilled beyond our expectations. The cabinets look like they are all new as opposed to only having the exterior refaced and doors replaced. I would recommend Josh to anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen or bathroom cabinets in the future.

Scott and Mandy Nottingham were friendly and answered all of our questions about the remodel of our kitchen. They refaced our kitchen cabinets and offered suggestions for other problems. Scott fixed the plumbing hookup under the sink that the builder had originally put in. Scott helped us hide the wires from our land line phone. He braced the back of the microwave to keep it from pushing backwards into the cabinet. Each day the super team of Scott and Mandy worked, was followed by a clean up better than they found it. We had no debris left to deal with. Scott came to do a big job but, it was all the little extras they did that made the experience great.
