    I had an excellent experience with Home Rangers LLC today and highly recommend their services! From start to finish, the team was professional and efficient. The customer service representative I spoke with earlier this afternoon was incredibly pleasant and helpful, addressing all my questions and quickly scheduling a technician for me.Dan, the service technician who came out to fix my furnace, was outstanding. He was professional, knowledgeable, and provided great advice on keeping my home well-heated during the colder months. He identified the issue with my furnace right away and had it repaired in a reasonable amount of time.I’m impressed by the level of care and expertise the team demonstrated, and I’ll definitely be using Home Rangers LLC for any future HVAC needs.     We have been customers of Stans for a few years now. There is a reason we continue to call on him and his team (Home Rangers) when our A/C needs maintenance.Most recently, during a recent power outage, our air conditioning unit would not turn back on after power was restored (along with numerous other items but thats another story)We called Home Rangers and was greeted pleasantly by Mel. (Side note: Mel has been amazing through the entire process. She keeps great communication and is a pleasure to work with.) She set us up with an appointment for a technician to come look at the unit the very same day! Dan arrived on time during the appointment window and he spent a great amount of time looking at the basement unit and outside unit. He ultimately came to the conclusion that the motor was blown.We received an estimate for repair the very next morning. Once we were ready to accept the estimate and schedule the repair, I notified Mel. She discussed with the team and called me back with an appointment... the very same day!!Dan returned to our home, on time and prepared for work. I felt the cold air in my home before he finished so I knew the job was a success before he returned from the basement. He even took the time to clean our outside unit for us. Made a quick and easy payment right there in our living room and we were good to go.There is a reason we keep calling Home Rangers when we are in need. They are timely, attentive and professional.     Truly outstanding service, above and beyond. This was our second opportunity to work with Home Rangers, first for an HVAC emergency and now for heating system readiness for winter. Dan has deep and extensive technical knowledge.     Stan came to our rescue at 10pm to fix our AC on one of the hottest nights on record. He was quick and efficient and was able to have us back up and running in less than hour. He said he was told we had little kids and he just couldn’t let us go through the night without AC. I was blown away. Most places I called before Home Rangers never even picked up the phone. I was so impressed that we will be using them in the future for all our routine servicing of our HVAC system!

    Home Rangers was great! Our AC was struggling in the midst of a 95+ degree heatwave and they were able to get someone out the very next morning to help us out. They arrived on time and were able to address our issue thoroughly and quickly. Highly recommend!

    Our AC broke on a Sunday morning in the middle of a heat wave. We were desperate for someone to come out and take a look and hopefully fix it. Home Rangers were at the house within hours. Our tech Dan was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Even though Dan couldn’t fix it on the spot, he assured us he would do everything in his power to remedy our situation. He ordered the required part and even expedited it for us. He came back as soon as he received the part. Dan was in and out within an hour and our AC was back up and running.     Today is the hottest day of the year 2021 so far. I am sitting comfortably in my home at a great temperature thinking about Stan and the excellent crew at Modern Air Solutions. Where do I start, lets start from the beginning!I met Stan in Spring 2015, I got a solicitation in the mail for seasonal HVAC Tune up. I called and setup an appointment, he came out, looked over my system which at the time was 26 years old, cleaned it out, did a few odds & ends, and determined it would be good for the season. Great! Fast forward to Winter of 2015. The heating portion of the furnace stopped working. I called Stan that night, he comes out first thing in the morning. Most guys would automatically try to scream replace the whole system. Remember, its 26 years old! He determines the control board is bad, with the system being so old he isnt sure if he can find the part. Said he will try, and to my delight he finds it! Price for the part and install was MORE than fair for what he could have charged in the winter time right before Christmas. I NEVER forgot that about him.Since that day Modern Air Solutions replaced my water heater in 2017, and also serviced my system every spring & fall to keep it going. THEN most recently in October 2020, I used them to replace the old faithful, now 31 year old, Complete HVAC system. Modern Air Solutions installed a New Lennox Furnace & Air Conditioner along with a Humidifier! As always, they were very thorough, knowledgeable, and fulfilling of all promises & expectations they set forth. My new HVAC system is flawless! I love it! I did compare their prices with others and it was lower than others AND the value I got in services/hardware/features was better! You cant beat that.Bottom line: If you want an honest, prompt, knowledgeable, responsive, great priced HVAC company. Modern Air Solutions is who you want! many places dont even call you back to possibly do work, what you think will happen after they do the work? Save yourself the trouble & use these guys.

    Great experience. Home Rangers was referred to me by a neighbor, and I’m glad I took the recommendation. Dan, the technician, walked me through the possible repairs for my central air conditioning system. He educated me on the pros and cons of each approach, and was able to quickly wrap up service. if I ever need their services again, I will be sure to call them. Philadelphia row homes can be difficult, and it’s good to know that this team can manage such projects. Affordable and trustworthy

    We reached out to Home Rangers for a second opinion after our heat pump broke overnight. Mel was courteous and accommodating on the phone when scheduling a technician to come out to the house. They were able to get someone to us within a timely manner who investigated the root cause and provided a fair and reasonable price to perform the corrective work. The technician Dan was honest, upfront and was not pushing for more work or replacement of the entire unit. Overall it was a very professional experience and were very happy with our results.

    I highly recommend Home Rangers central air unit broke on a Saturday in the middle of a heat wave they were able to fit me in next day and the repairs were done the day after that they were pleasant , very professional , knowledgeable and were able to get our central air back working just like new.     Had a great experience with Home Rangers. I needed to replace my 50 year old HVAC and was very nervous. They came out and assesses my needs and made several recommendations.     Stan did a backflow test at our church’s building. The test was done in a timely fashion and paper work was submitted to the city.Unlike with the past contractors where a contractor did not show up at agreed time.     I called Home Rangers LLC today about my central AC. In less than an hour, Dan was at my front door and without wasting time went to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the capacitor of the outside unit and had the AC fuctional again in no time. Dan was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable.     Called Stan 5 years ago when the heater in my new home wasn’t working correctly. Stan came that same day, fixed it, and said it was just an adjustment and charged me nothing, and I wasn’t even his regular customer. He won my loyalty. Since then, he has installed an entire new system to replace my 19 yr old one for a price that beat 3 other estimates. This November when he was here doing annual maintenance, my daughter phoned me from her new home 7 miles from me. Her heater wouldn’t turn on. I put her on hold and asked Stan if he could look into it. He sent someone up there that day. He is not only a fairly priced, knowledgeable professional, but a sincerely decent human.

    As someone that works in a customer service capacity in another industry, I can only give my highest praise to the folks over at Ranger: quick, friendly, efficient, honest, and the price was right. After speaking with Mel when our heat quit in February, our technician Dan was able to make time for us same day, walked us through our options, quoted accurate pricing and discussed the discounts associated with a maintenance plan given the age of our system.     My heater got broken and I called Stan around 11:00 am. He came the same day around 6:30 pm and got it fixed.     I contacted Home Rangers at 6pm on a Saturday night because my AC system didn’t seem to be cooling effectively. Even though they were closing for the day, Dan still came out at 8pm and did a thorough inspection of my system. The AC was fine but Dan found a clog in a condensation drain hose and fixed it as well as gave me several pointers to make the heat pump system more efficient. I am very pleased with the quick response and professionalism of Dan and will be using their services again for any future AC related issues.

    We had Stan install 2 new complete heat pump systems as well as install some new duct work. He and his team did an amazing job! We must have quoted at least a half dozen other HVAC contractors and we chose Stan for the following reasons: 1) very knowledgeable. We probably asked Stan a dozen questions about the install before we chose him, and each time he answered quickly and completely. 2) competitively priced. 3) He did the most through job on the initial estimate - he performed a manual J load calculation. 4) great reviews.We had some quirky things come up in our installation (due to the way our previous system was installed), but Stan and his team made it work and ensured everything was running perfectly. We cannot recommend him enough!

    The repairman explained problem, cost, was friendly, & fixed issue same day it went down, which was at start of heatwave. Company called after to make sure I was satisfied, also sent me a small token Thank You gift in mail of hard candies🍬 Thought that was a nice touch. Parts were a little more expensive than I expected, but he did explain reason for this as being cost of gas, mileage, service time, labor, etc. All in all I was satisfied with Home Rangers & would recommend them. Oh, also, there is a fee to come out, but they waive this if you get the work done, which is fair.

    Coming home from Texas with temp over 100, and greeted by Philly’s 94 with a busted air conditioner was a SUPER BOMBER!!!! THen came Home Rangers to the rescue. Mel was very accommodating, pleasant and patient. A breath of COOL air. Early the ff day came Stan. He is the poster boy for PEP!!! ( professional, efficient and pleasant).     Stan was absolutely the most professional, competent and fast HVAC guy I have worked the with. He always shows up with a clean and well-marked (nicely decorated) van, a complete set of tools (even shoe covers to keep the floors clean) and diagnosed and fixed the issues in very short amount of time. Even when he had to order parts, he made sure to update me about the status from the supplier and came to my rescue during hot summer days as soon as the parts of available. In short, superb service from a professional and friendly guy who is running a great company!! Cannot recommend them highly enough!!

    Stan from Modern Air Solutions fixed our air conditioner in our office. He showed up on time, was very professional and clean in his work. He had all the equipment he needed to get the job done. He also went a step further by getting to the air conditioner through the fence covering it, because we lost the key. I was so impressed with Stan that he will be installing a new air conditioner at my home.This is my 2nd post for Modern Air. I can not recommend them enough. I emailed Stan to look at my heater and took care of it ASAP. No wasted time. I am an insurance agent that sells home insurance and recommend all my clients to Modern Air.

    Stan Samokhin was referred to me by a roofer who was helping me with a leak from a flat roof in Center City, Philadelphia, partially caused by how an AC condenser unit was installed on the roof. Stan was extremely knowledgeable and professional and did a great job taking his time to think through my problem and offered a number of workable solutions on how to address the AC condenser situation. Without getting into the details, my problem was very unique and required a great degree of creativity on how to solve it. After only a few emails between Stan and me about how to address the AC condenser situation, I agreed that his recommendation was a viable plan and that it was reasonably priced. On the day of the repair, Stan and his work team arrived on time, were well prepared, and were also extremely careful with doing the work. The work involved removing steel support beams by cutting them into pieces, removing them from the roof and then re-securing the AC condenser unit to the roof. I would highly recommend Stan and would be happy to discuss my experience with him to anyone considering hiring him.

    Fantastic service! It was after hours and my AC went down and we were leaving for vacation but my dogs were staying behind and my neighbors were watching them. I was desperate as i didnt want my dogs to have to stay in the heat. Stan who was off happened to love dogs said he would come and take care of the problem. I highly recommend this company.     Modern Air Solutions, and particularly Stan Samokhin, is one of the best contractors I’ve ever dealt with in the many home projects I have undertaken throughout many decades. If you need HVAC services of any kind Stan is the one to hire. He’s is very conscientious, smart, and knows what he’s doing and how to get it done. We needed a new HVAC unit designed and installed into our condo and he came up with the best solution and did an excellent job throughout the entire project. He returns calls and texts promptly, communicates throughout, and does a superb job.

    They did an excellent job. Our issues was the A/C not working in one zone of our house. They came out, did a thorough evaluation and was able to diagnose the issue, get parts and start work in the span of 2 days. The unit works well and the job was reasonably priced. They are definitely our go-to provider going forward. To put this in perspective, we called a different company initially, the person who came out charged $100. He only looked at the outside for a few minutes, guessed we had a Freon leak without doing an evaluation (which we found out later was totally wrong) and said we had to replace our whole system, saying the job could cost up to 5 times what we ended up paying in the end. Realizing how negative this experience can be only speaks to how valuable it can be to have an honorable, trustworthy company like modern air solutions working on your home

    This company is very good, my heater stopped working on one of the coldest days, i called them, they came out same day, I didnt have to wait. very professional and neat, the heater guy put those booties on his feet before he entered my house then went straight to work fixing my heater. with in an hour he got the heater working and my house had heat again. I recommend this company very highly

He was kind enough to explain the parts and showed me the condition of the evaporator coil. I’m happy that they were able resolve my issue.—————————————————————I called to get my AC unit cleaned and specifically asked them to look at the evaporator coil and clean it. I’m sure the technician did a good job of cleaning the unit but when I asked how the evaporator coils were he just said they’re fine. I asked if he was going to take a look he said they’re inside the house and he doesn’t have to look at it. The whole point of hiring them was to get the evaporator coils checked and cleaned and he didn’t even take a look.
