Mr. Hickey just helped make my new bathroom a realty. He showed up when he said he would, did the work he said he would do, charged what he said he would charge and stayed incredibly patient with my questions and, most importantly with Otis (my overly friendly, wants to help with everything, dog.) He took what was deemed a plumbing mess and made it a thing of beauty and perfect functionality. I know I will not need him anytime in the near future, but you should consider him for all your plumbing needs. You will as happy as I am if you do!

Lost hot water at the shower and likely culprit was the Moen PosiTemp cartridge. No problem. Went to HD, bought the cartridge, came home and tried to remove the old one. Hahaha Did. Not. Budge. Tried to rip the thing out for over an hour, but it was so corroded it had fused with the faucet. It was about 4pm when I started to panic. Couldnt put the control valve back together because it was so f broken. Basically an open tap. I looked up a Waltham plumber with some good reviews and called Hickeys Plumbing. Michael answered, understood the problem and said he would be there within the hour. He was there in 40 min. Michael and the guy he was working with were there right away when I needed help, fixed it so I could turn the water back on, ordered the parts and came back in a day to install them. Both Michael and his assistant plumber were fast and professional.
