    When our hot water heater went down I called Sears who installed the last unit for a replacement ,but couldnt get a new one until the next day. I called E&H Mechanical and the owner Eric said he could install the unit after 5 pm because they were very busy . When he ripped out the old unit the wiring was burnt, and many other electrical issues( fire hazards) was explained to me and corrected. After adding new wiring conduit and new piping for new install $$$$ was adding up in my head because this wasnt my first water heater installation , but the final cost was well below my estimate for an emergency call. I have since had E&H install a Solar power attic fan, faulty GFI (another fire hazard discovered, work done by Lowes contractors)and new wiring outlets in my garage. The bottom line is if you want it done professionally and at a FAIR cost dont hesitate to call E&H !!

    E&H Mechanical came out and installed a new Bosch heat pump and air handler after our aging Goodwin units continued to have more and more issues. All communication with Eric was very proffessional and his honesty was quite refreshing. I had asked him about features of different units, split zoning, different thermostats etc. He gave me honest answers telling me more or less what my home would benefit from and what wouldnt.I informed him of the uneven temperatures that we had in our FROG room and he recommended installing of another cold air return and extra vents into that room. It has completely eliminated the temperature difference in that room of the house.The lineset running to the heatpump is one of the cleanest runs I have seen installed on a house, and the rest of the install was done with the same care and quality.One of the big benefits I was hoping to see was reduced power usage from the more effiicient units. After a few months of watching usage and comparing them to the previous year. I was very pleased with how efficient they are. Overall the new units use about 2/3rds less than what I previosuly was using to heat and cool my home. Again, another exceptional recommendation from Eric and his team.I cannot express enough how pleased I am with choosing E&H to install our new HVAC. If youre looking around for a great installer for any of your mechanical needs, Eric and his team are the best choice by miles.

    E &H Mechanical provided excellent customer service. I made a Home Warranty claim for the AC not working and the earliest date that was given was 09/04. I reached out to the owner directly and explained there was an elderly gentlemen living in the home and he made accommodations to come out the next day and service the AC. This company went above and beyond the call of duty. They provided great customer service and fast service. The AC was fixed in less than an hour. I highly recommend this comapny.

    Erik and his team have been exceptional to work with for all our HVAC needs. They first replaced our upstairs unit in the dead of summer, quickly and efficiently, followed by our downstairs unit just as it was getting cold!     I can’t say enough good things about E & H they have helped me recover from a bad experience with two major companies I got off Angie’s list. They not only explained the options but they didn’t take me to the cleaners. They also now handle my rental property and are able to repair the AC vs just replacing it like other companies would do. I love they are honest, knowledgeable and just good people to work with. Thank you again for making my life “cool” again!

    I had a crack in my heating element, so only option was to replace the entire system. I called 5 companies and E&H were the best product, best upgrades, and the only ones I didn’t feel were trying to take advantage of me!! Honest hard working company that I would use over and over again, and always recommend them!! They are thorough, friendly, never minded my million questions, let me observe everything that was going on and never acted as though I was in their way!! Even still answer my calls after completion and answer all my strange questions. I greatly appreciate companies and people like this!!! They are hard to come by these days!!!     Fully recommend E&H Mechanical. Without hesitation, I will call them for all HVAC service in Hampton Roads! Best service, fair price, prompt and trustworthy. The team arrived the same day I called and were the most professional contractors I have worked with. They took the time to troubleshoot my HVAC issues at an extremely fair price. I originally called thinking I needed whole home HVAC replacement but they were honest and respectful enough to give me all available options and we ended up paying much less to have a fully repaired AC and heater. The project was bigger than expected as there was a leak in our HVAC line set but the E&H Mechanical team took the time to continually test and examined the indoor and outdoor units and lines between until they were confident the leak was found and repaired. In all of the inspections, they found several substandard repairs/installation practices from the previous contractor, which they fixed at no charge as part of their overall effort to ensure they were completely confident we would enjoy our AC and Heat for years to come! The honesty and integrity of E&H Mechanical and their team of HVAC contractors left us wanting to refer them to everyone we know and if you call them, you will too!Recommend 100%
