We needed a company to remove and replace our panels for a roof install. Everyone at Power Overhaul was professional and courteous from the person that started the contract to the installation crew to the person that called after the replace to make sure we were happy. They worked directly with the roofers so I didnt have to be in the middle for scheduling. Signing the contract was easy and secure as was the online payments. Everyone we spoke with knew what they were talking about and went above and beyond to answer questions and alleviate our concerns. I absolutely would recommend them to my friends and family.

Power Overhaul was recommended to us by our son. We had our solar installed in 2012. We received 3 emails this week from Sunny Portal informing us that our web box had a communication fault. When we called PO they were able to schedule a service call the next day. It was a pleasure to speak with Melanie in the scheduling process. The technicians were on time and very courteous. They clearly explained what was needed and took the time to explain the app as well. Great service, prompt, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Having a problem with my inverters on my 8 year old solar system. My solar company recommended Power Overhaul. They came 3 1/2 weeks ahead of my appointment and made a diagnosis. Now waiting for the next steps. Very professional and easy to work with. So far I have positives for this company and look forward to them making the repairs. I do recommend them.

I have recently had many issues with other Solar companies. I called Power Overhaul and they were incredibly professional & responsive!!! In a few weeks they had my defective inverter warrennted out and my system back up and running! The installer took his time and made sure everything was clean and working again. This is a great company to work with!!

We have had solar for over 10 and had no problems but wanted the assurance that everything was working properly to gain the most from our solar power.The technician was very nice, professional and completed the task very efficiently. I was having an issue with my solar system. I called to report it and a service tech was at my house within 2 hours. With the issue being caused by part of the installation Power Overhaul did not install, the problem was quickly discovered and remedied. We needed specialty parts, made a follow-up appointment and the service tech was at our house a few minutes before the scheduled time and quickly fixed the remaining issue and put the system completely back online within a short time. From calling to completion, I am happy with the service I get from Power Overhaul.

I contacted Power Overhaul because they were one of 2 companies that showed up on the Fronius website as warranty providers in my area. I had previously used the other company and was less than sarisfied with them.When I called power overhaul they were very organized and able to book a date in advance and prepay so I didnt even need to be home.The service technician came out and was very polite and did the job quickly. There was no mess left behind. I would highly recommend using them for any solar services.

The team from Power Overhaul installed critter guard on my solar panels. They were on time, professional and got the job done quickly. From the time I called for a quote, the staff was professional and answered all my questions. I would use their services again if needed. I contacted Power Overhaul to perform a free inspection on our 157kW solar generating system. They found some damage to one of our inverters and quickly provided a quote for repair. I shopped around and could not beat their price. So they came and fixed our inverter without any additional costs or downtime. I will use their services for future solar maintenance and repairs.

Power Overhaul has been providing service to my solar system for the past ten years thru their partnership with Sun Run. Last spring I had them come out and clean my panels. I had done it myself in the past but I am getting too old to be going up on my roof to do it. I am amazed at the increase in production since getting the panels cleaned by them. Their tech used some type of mop along with windex glass cleaner to do the job. He also hand cleaned the front edge of the panels that can be seen from the ground. I also just arranged for a Solar Log 350 monitoring system. That will allow me to see a lot more info then the Sun Run web site that I have been using. Great job by them.

Recently Experienced a failure in my Fronius IG 3000 Solar inverter. Upon calling Fronius I found out that the inverter was still under warranty. (My initial install was done in 2010 May time frame). I was able to troubleshoot and confirm the warranty was applicable after Fronius walked me through the process of testing with a multimeter (State Code was 301 - Overcurrent AC). I contacted both the Fronius Authorized Installers in NJ area near my zip code. These guys did not want to charge me extra since I had already done the trouble shooting and gotten my warranty replacement approved. There was initially a delay in scheduling the service(close to 10 days after my first call) since the tech support did not schedule the inverter delivery from the manufacturer despite noting my urgency (I took 1 star off for that). Finally customer service took care of it ordering the inverter from the manufacture. After that the response was pretty quick for installation. The technician installer was extremely professional and respected our home customs (not wearing shoes inside the house). He completed the job in about an hour and replaced the inverter, swapped out the COM card from the old inverter and got it cranking. Highly recommend these guys for your inverter replacement.

Andrew did a great job of inspecting and cleaning my solar array and inverter, as well as giving me some pointers on how to improve my set-up. Additionally, he was friendly and knowlegeable. He answered all my questions readily. I would recommend Power Overhaul to anyone and I will use them again myself in the future.

Quick short review, but to the point. Pigeons under panels. Every morning wake up to “coooo coooo cooo” above my head. Scratching sounds all night long. Pigeons living under panels. Power overhaul removed humanely. Placed critter guard around all solar panels. No more pigeons. Happy homeowner. Would use them again for any other solar maintenance need.

Recently we heard squirrels scurrying around under our ten-year-old PV panels. The original company that installed them ten years ago did not put on any squirrel barriers until I asked them to. Apparently they left gaps that we didn’t realize were there. We got two quotes which were similar in cost. We selected Power Overhaul and they came with a crew of two and removed and inspected all the panels. There was a lot of damage from the squirrels chewing on the wires. The crew didn’t finish on the first day. On the second day they came in the afternoon and worked through a light rain (walking on a wet roof!) and didn’t finish until after dark. During the day we could see that they had missed some trimming and left a small gap in the barrier. After two calls and an email they returned and finished the job. I’m satisfied that they did a good job at reasonable cost and followed up when needed.

Troy & Joe were excellent representatives of Power Overhaul and did a great job evaluating, servicing and critter remediation of my Solar PV System. Troy really knows his job well as an Electrician.
