    Reached out to Specialty Drains to install a water filter. Martin the owner was very knowledgeable, and explained everything before and during the install. We moved from out of state and the water here in Florida is not great. We are happy to know that the water our family (especially our kids )are drinking is much cleaner now, not to mention taste wonderful! We will be going with Specialty Drains for our whole house filter too, and we are looking forward to it! I highly recommend using them 🙌

    I scheduled Martin to locate a main line drain for a remodel in my house. He was going to use the camera to find the depth and what was necessary. Once he arrived, he was able to locate the drain and gave me expert advise as to how to handle the remodel. He provided insight as to what was the best solution and most cost effective. He also told me it was not necessary to use the camera and wasnt going to charge me for something not needed for the job I hired him to assess. Honestly, Martin could have used the camera, charged me the fee and I would not have known the difference. He explained he was not the kind of business that charged people for unnecessary work. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and overall honesty. What a good person!!!

    Highly recommend Martin at Specialty Plumbing. Quick response time. He helped solve the problem with our hot water heater and was courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions patiently and taught us what we should do to prevent further problems.

    My water heater was relatively new, and started supplying very limited hot water. I called Martin, and he came out, inspected the unit thoroughly, and showed me everything that was wrong. He was very honest in pointing out that it was still under warranty, and suggested I follow up with the manufacturer. He could have sold me a new unit, but he didnt. Such honesty is rare! I am keeping his number close by.

    I had what I thought, a deep clog that I couldnt clear in my homes 50 yr plumbing. Called out to Specialty Drains on short notice and Martin accommodated me, where he arrived on time for appointment. It was indeed a deep clog on the kitchen end and doubt I wouldve broke through the years of grease and other debris that was as hard as a rock. Requested to camera the drainage/waste lines condition and with suggestions provided, I now have a plan moving forward.Thank you Martin for your due diligence, hard work and honesty, along with fair pricing.Much appreciated and highly recommend!!

    When you find a great tradesman, you never forget them. Martin is that guy. He was the 3rd plumber who came to fix my outside water lines. The other plumbers did quick fixes that just ended up breaking again. Martins repairs were top tier and no leaks after. Cant recommend high enough for Sarasota County area.

    I cannot highly recommend Speciality Drains enough! Our backflow keeps getting hit by North Port city mowers every couple of months and I was using another plumbing company that would do a quick fix and be gone, but it always seemed a bit flimsy and never lasted. Last month, our back flow was hit again, but this time I also had a newborn to take care of. I called the plumber we usually use and told them my situation, but they couldnt get out until MAYBE the next day. With Speciality Drains, Martin, the owner, made a special trip to come out and get my water working again asap. Not only did he do a better fix using better quality pieces, but he went the extra mile, checking my entire system to make sure I didnt have any other leaks or issues. He didnt have to do that, as I had only called him about the backflow, but he went above and beyond out of amazing professionalism and kindness. He ended up finding another small leak in my system (probably prior damage from the mowers that the other company had missed), and he fixed that as well at no charge. Martin was amazing. If anyone, residential or commercial, is in need of a highly skilled and trustworthy plumber, Speciality Drains is it. I wont use anyone else.

    My parents had sewage seeping out of their floors. Martin came out and repaired all damaged pipes with the newest and best supplies currently on the market. He also installed a new toilet for them. Fast, great, and reliable service! Highly recommend for any plumbing needs!

    Martin with Speciality Drains, LLC came quickly to my rescue when I called even though it was already late in the day. I was not in a good place from a previous fix a handyman did. Lesson learned-do not use a handyman for plumbing/drain issues. My laundry sink backed up and my washer unloaded on the floor. Martin had all the right tools to clear the drains and showed me how clean it after he was finished. I will use him again if I run into any other issues!

    The most honest plumber you can find. Another company quoted 15k-20k to replace the main drain out line in my house saying the pipe was completely collapsed. He was able to put his high tech HD cameras in to my lines see where there was a blockage and cleaned it out, my pipe wasn’t collapsed. He should wear a cape because he for sure is a Superman!!!! Thank you Martin for such great service and honesty we need more people like you in the world.

    Wow! We had tenants staying at our vacation rental, and they broke the kitchen faucet. It was the day before Thanksgiving, and they rented our place to celebrate. If the faucet couldnt get fixed thered be a lot of unhappy people. Specialty Drains responded in 1 hour on the day before Thanksgiving, made an assessment, and purchased and replaced the faucet in 2 hours. Now there are a lot of happy people. Very impressed!
