Having done business with about 9 plumbing companies in 8 years, all competent, Citrus is now our go-to. A small family company with a long history here in Venice, the plumbers are intelligent and pay the most attention to important details of any yet, whether perfectly aligning a tricky horizontal tub faucet, cutting back an outflow drain that was installed too long and was increasing the risk of a clog, or using putty instead of a gasket for improved fit. They explain what they are doing. Prices are fair for brief calls, not applying an automatic 1.5 hour charge for a drain call that some do. They aim for service within a reasonable time frame, but are also honest about when they can actually arrive so one doesnt wait needlessly. Reluctantly we highly recommend Citrus- but only for the selfish reason that we want to keep the best secret finds in Venice for ourselves...

The work was very professional and very neat. Jim did a great job on several valve replacements in hard to reach places. He also repaired the hot water line to the kitchen sink. I will definitely use Citrus Plumbing again.

By far the best plumber I’ve ever hired. He replaced my water heater but did so much more. He picked up the water heater at Lowe’s and brought it to my house, removed the old heater, cleaned the area, replaced with the new heater, and did a wonderful job of cleaning up before he left. It’s so much nicer than the previous plumbers job !! Thank you Plumber John for a perfect job. There have been no issues since 😊

The bathtub drain in our 48 year-old home collapsed so we decided to replace with a walk-in shower. Very pleased we picked Citrus Plumbing. They were very responsive, did excellent work, were professional, efficient and on time. Communications left nothing to be desired. The tile subcontractor was also great. They were personable and too great pride in their work as well. In short, job was done in a timely manner, they respected our property and our schedule. Great job. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again.

Citrus Plumbing is very highly recommended. Jim did a fantastic job replacing the cartridge in the bath faucet. Its leaked everyday of the six years I have lived in this home and I delayed this long because I thought that it would be outrageously expensive. Jim had it replaced in 30 minutes!! Jim had his tools in a bucket, had the part with him (as well as parts for other brands), was a joy to have in the house, and left with everything clean. I am thoroughly pleased with the job done and am thrilled to have found an excellent plumber. Also, the price was very, very reasonable.

Believe the great reviews about this company! I called with an emergency the afternoon of July 1st…just ahead of the three day holiday weekend. The tech (Brian) arrived within 20 minutes, was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. He tackled a difficult job and had it done in no time at all.Thank you to everyone at Citrus Plumbing, my new go-to plumbers! 👍🏻

I had a kitchen sink drain clogged for three days by debris from the garbage disposer. Citrus Plumbing of Venice was recommended by a friend. Lisa called back right away and Brian arrived less than two hours later. He was pleasant and efficient, explaining to me what he was doing and why. He even improved my drain piping so it would be easier if there is another clog event! He was done in no time and cleaned up the mess. The invoice was less than I had feared it would be. I recommend this company to anyone who wants fast, professional and reasonably priced plumbing service.

I would recommend this business to anyone. I live out country and I had to make a service appointment for my guests. It was very easy, just call away with a pleasant receptionist Lisa. The technician was very professional and showed up on time. In addition to unclogging kitchen sink, he suggested to replace two worn out pipes. He has sent me pictures and I agreed. The cost of the entire job was less than expected. I am more than satisfied and I would use their service again.

I am so thankful for the team at Citrus Plumbing ... they came through for me a big way during a plumbing crisis. I cant say enough about Jim who came out to repair the leak and replace our kitchen garbage disposal. Friendly, prompt, honest, professional. Called to have a water cut off installed on my 1953 home - was scheduled in 2 days. Plumber arrived right on schedule. He was experienced, knowledgeable and was able to show me a very easy fix for a fraction of what I might have paid if I had gone with a big - complicated and NOT NECESSARY job. Could not have been happier. Will use them for all my plumbing needs.

Would highly recommend this company. The heat trap, which looks like a small 3 long steel pipe protruding from the top of the water heater (except that it has some working functionality), had corroded and a small leak developed. I called 4 or 5 plumbing companies in the Venice area. All of them required $125 to $150 flat charge to make a house call. The owner of Citrus Plumbing of Venice, Dave, told me that his company simply uses a $45 fee for travel, and bills for parts and for each 15 minute increment of labor. That certainly was nice to hear. As well, one of Daves teams was close by, so he told me he would send them right over. They arrived in less than an hour. The team leader inspected the heater, explained exactly what was wrong and why, and what he had to do to fix it. The job took 45 minutes, and I gave them a check for what I considered to be a reasonable cost from a practical POV. Problem solved! Quickly and professionally, and at a more reasonable cost. Thank you!

Very happy with the company. Had a clogged drain, called 5 local plumbing companies and not one could get here until 2 weeks out. Called Citrus and they sent over a plumber inside of 30 minutes. This company is on it, knew which truck could squeeze me in and did it!!! I would highly recommend using this company or calling them first...BTW the plumber was very polite, professional and knew his stuff!! Quality!!!
