I have been working with Sunshine Electrical Services for many years now involving all of my electrical needs at my home. Sunshine Electrical Services has replaced full electrical panels and has done electrical work, adding and changing the lighting in the exterior and interior of my homes.When Hurricane Ian struck, it devastated my power lines and bent my riser, which disconnected me from the grid entirely.Kory and his team responded within 24 hours and replaced all of the wiring necessary to get me back online.Hurricane Milton caused similar damage to my power line again, leaving me with no power.Despite the thousands of people without power in Sarasota County, Kory organized his team to handle a heavy influx of people needing electricity and was at my homebagain within 24 hours of the call getting me reconnected and back with power.Sunshine Electrical Services are professional, honest, and 100% reliable!Thanks to Kory and his team for minimizing the trauma from these hurricanes by bringing me and my family out of the dark!

First experience using Sunshine Electric and it was exceptional .Had to call them back after initial install for a very minor adjustment to ceiling light fixture .They immediately sent someone out to address my concern - no questions asked. Upon entering my home, he looked at fixture and agreed with my concern. He made a very very minor adjustment. I said it is much better he said I dont want it better . It needs to be PERFECT! Thank you so much for attempting to provide your customers with perfection!!!!!

Doug & Ken just completed the installment of our new 200-amp rated 40 space 80 circuit Square D Home-Line outdoor rated panel and breakers. This also included the installation of a whole home surge protection. Finally, they installed a 50-amp generator interlock system that included a 25ft 50-amp cord. Doug and Ken were on time, knowledgeable and friendly. When they completed the job, Ken spent time telling me how to connect to our generator - and identified the location in our home of all the breakers. Our home was built in 1991 and we know this investment makes our home safer and gives us comfort knowing we are generator ready should we need it. Thanks again Sunshine Electric for a job well done!

We had Sunshine come out to our new construction home to discuss our WiFi, electrical, and security needs. From initial discussions through the invoicing process, this entire team is top notch. Andy was knowledgeable about our WiFi limitations, and how to improve the process, I work from home, so counting on his expertise was essential! He also showed us the security system, and the options that we could use, or in the future upgrade on. We were sold! He was honest, and when he didn’t have an answer he researched it to get us the best result. I would recommend the Sunshine team for all your electric, security, and internet needs. My parents had a serious electrical emergency one week after my mother came home from the hospital. I contacted Sunshine electrical and Danny Dyck took my phone call right away. It was on a holiday weekend....but that had no bearing. Between Danny, Cory, and Chris, the situation was corrected very quickly. It was a serious issue that also involved FPL but Chris had it under control and the emergency taken care of within an hour. This is a 5 STAR outfit for sure. Honest, ethical, extremely qualified, and the cleanest company I have ever seen. My parents [ 91 and 87 } and I are customers for life!!!!Well....here we go again. After tropical storm Debbie I went to my parents house to find numerous electrical issues caused by the storm. My parents were at that Summer Home in Michigan during this time. I called Sunshine Electric and Danny had Ray{who we will call RAY of Sunshine} out at the house in record time. These guys are highly skilled, have beautiful state of the art equipment, and can trouble shoot problems in a very short period of time. The issues were identified and ALL issues were solved within 30 hours to perfection. If you dont choose these guys at Sunshine Electric.....you are making a mistake!

Ken, Chris, and another worker stopped by and helped me out--majorly! Had a 1977 electric pedestal overdue for rotation to the boneyard (me--new owner of a double wide, inheriting the prior owners delinquencies, none too glaring, and probably to be expected). They were polite and courteous -- and worked patiently and safely. Done Deal! Thanks Guys! I recommend this business that has been in South Venice for a while. Now, I see why they are doing a competitive business in the electrical services industry.

He communicated well, asked questions where we wanted the can lights installed and was very meticulous about the placement. He was friendly, low key and very knowledgeable. We’re gradually renovating a 50 year old condo on the “island” in Venice. Ken of Sunshine Electrical recently installed 4 ceiling fan/lights in rooms where there was no ceiling wiring, had to access the closest outlet, run conduit along the ceiling, make it look good, etc. He did a great job, thorough and efficient. Sunshine Electric are professional and do a great job. We had a whole house surge protector installed and upgraded our lighting throughout our home. It is so delightful to “see” everything so clearly with the new bright white LEDs. The owner, Kory, is very knowledgeable and kind. “Our” electrician, Nate, is hardworking and NEAT while he works. I highly recommend Sunshine Electric. They also do security / fire alarms and monitoring. Use them for all your electronic needs - you will be happy you did!

When I was told I needed to replace the panel on my home for insurance purposes I had no idea who to call. Someone recommended that I call Sunshine Electric. I am so glad I did. When Kory came to look at my issues he put my mind at ease. Explaining to me what needed to be done. When the day of my appointment came they were right on time..and very professional. They cleaned up afterwards and even had the office call me to tell me they were finishing up and locked up when they left. And Kory called later to make sure I was happy with the work. I am so happy I called them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone and everyone.

A great company and group of people. We needed a repair done to satisfy a non-code doubled connection in the breaker box picked up by our buyers home inspector. Sunshine came as scheduled , did the repair quickly, took photos to prove the repair was done and rushed it to me to pass onto the buyer for closing and insurance purposes. All that and the price was very reasonable and their team are great to work with!

I contacted Sunshine Electrical on the strength of both Google reviews and a recommendation from the company installing our pool heater as I needed a 60 amp breaker installed with a whip for the heat pump. Dan, the project manager, came over promptly to review the install site and provide an estimate for the work. Ray was then scheduled to install the line at 8am a week later and was here on site by 7:55am. He was professional, courteous, tidy and efficient, and the line was all installed and ready to go by about 11am. Dan will follow-up with me once the heat pump is installed to arrange for an inspection with the city. All in all, quality and professional service—I would definitely recommend.

Hands down the best electric company i have had the pleasure of dealing with. We have used them multiple times now and they are fantastic. Dan is extremely professional and punctual, i reached out about additional work at our business and less than 24 hours i had a response and he showed up to personally check out the project. We were told by 2 other electric companies that we didnt have enough power to run our lines for our trucks and that it would cost over 10k to install a new breaker box and all the work to be done. Dan showed up a few days later and walked me through everything explaining we had plenty of power and the job wouldnt cost a fraction of what the other companies were looking to charge. I will always recommend Sunshine Electric to anyone i meet looking for electric needs. This is YOUR electrical contractor. Excellent service, family run business and a very involved and dedicated owner. I have used this company multiple times and the owner, Cory, has never disappointed. Installation of two mini splits and installation of a transfer switch for a generator. Cory helped me recommending the generator to buy and then sent one of his electricians out to unbox, setup and check out the generator. He came by and inspected the job later and even went down to Lowes and bought some touchup paint to touchup the outside connection. Additionally, when installing the mini splits, my HVAC system shut down for a totally unrelated reason as a switch failed. Cory came out and checked and told me it had nothing to do with the split installation, But he said, I am going to replace the switch on your heat pump at no cost to you just to make sure there is no question and because is is the right thing to do. This is the company u want to do business with. If I owned a business, I would run it like Cory. Additionally, Cory flies relief supplies to those in need in Haiti. This is your company. I cannot say enough good about Sunshine Electrical Services.

I had an ongoing problem with the 10 year blue Tooth Smoke detectors WHICH THE COUNTY REQUIRED. Korey saw that all issues & or replacements were taken care of! The failure of the Blue Tooth is in the Blue Tooth! Sunshine electric took care of the issues quickly and even out 4 years! ***** for Sunshine Electric and Korey (the owner). From the estimate, to installation of a new electrical panel, Sunshine Electrical was easy to work with and they provided top notch service. Sunshine was the last company I called and the only one who answered the phone. David, explained in great detail, what would need to be done from getting the permit, and coordinating with FPL. I had an estimate within 1 business day. It was very detailed. We had 3 other estimates done, but other companies were not as detailed. Pricing was competitive and reasonable.Installation day, Ken and Chris promptly arrived. They were very friendly and helpful. They worked very hard and kept us informed. Everything went smoothly. FPL showed up as planned, Ken and Chris did their work, FPL returned to finish up, and the inspector came and approved the work. They also cleaned up the work area nicely. Will definitely use them again!

Kory and company upgraded our panel and enhanced the value of the property by including a whole house surge protector as well as outdoor outlet for a portable generatorDue to unforeseen circumstances a ghost wire was inadvertently connected forty years ago and did not allow for our a/c to restart after the upgrade panel was installed. The issue was resolved after trial and error and we were happy to have great professional technicians work on our house.Thumbs up for Sunshine Electrical!
