I can’t say enough great things about the remodel that was just completed in my master bedroom by J&I Home Design. We had worked with Solomon previously when we remodeled our kitchen in 2019, so we already had trust that he would be fair and communicative throughout the project. He confirmed that trust and his team exceeded our expectations in terms of the quality of the final product. Our master bedroom needed a face lift and we wanted to upgrade our master bath and walk in closet to meet our needs for increased space and modern amenities. The design team gave us multiple options for a new layout of the closet and bathroom and we ultimately settled on a wet room for our shower and tub and an ocean feel throughout the master. The project was completed in November and all of our friends and family who visited during the holidays were in awe of the work that was done. Thank you J&I Home Design!

I recently had my bathroom remodeled by J&I, and I couldnt be happier with the entire process!From the initial consultation with Solomon to the final touches, their team was professional and patient. The attention to detail was impressive, and they seamlessly navigated the remodeling journey. The communication was excellent, keeping me informed at every step.I would definitely recommend J&I and Solomon for anyone looking for a remodeling job!

HonestMy wife found Solomon on Yelp. This will be long because I think it’s important to get an insight into our journey.Solomon’s commitment, professional insight, meticulous attention, and hands on approach during the planning and execution has been invaluable to us. While he will execute your vision, he would also provide his own insight to help us think through any considerations as to why or why we shouldn’t do something. Whether it was just not worth the cost, add value to our home/lifestyle or a find potential alternative/balance.The statement of work he provides is fully laid out and he explains line by line to ensure we’re on the same page. Payments were scheduled for specific milestones.This was our first major remodel endeavor, so quite an exciting and scary process considering the potential investment and living adjustment during the process.We initially reached out to Solomon regarding adding square footage to our home. A 4’ bump forward, adding an additional bedroom, and bumping the back of our house for a new kitchen.He was very clear up front of the overall process, timeline and expectations to ensure we knew the order of sequence of how the project would roll out.He spent a good 6 months with us during the planning and design phase, from engineering, blueprinting and permitting. We also visited some of his previous customers and talked to his customers and they all shared the same sentiment of his approach and quality of work.While we did not end up moving forward with the remodel, as we decided to purchase a new home, we did however need to get our home rent ready. This included a new roof, new gutters, stucco, paint exterior, retaining planter wall, new porch and backyard deck.Without question we stuck with Solomon and he was more than happy to work with us, while a smaller scope of work it was still quite a lot of moving parts. All while also re-leveling and tiling my mother in law’s balcony.It’s important to understand that any significant project requires a partnership and open communication.Bumps are expected but the open communication we had was all it took to make sure both parties were on the same page. It’s also important to note that it’s also my responsibility as the customer to be available and respond in a timely manner to ensure his teams stayed the course as key decision points.The end result was exactly as we expected.While we continue to search for a new house, we are now leveraging Solomon’s expertise and he’s assisting us in vetting houses that we may be interested in to ensure it’s a sound investmentI without a doubt highly recommend Solomon for any project you may have in the pipeline.

I hired Solomon and his team to build a soundproof recording studio for me utilizing high quality soundproofing materials.This has been by far my greatest experience working with any Contractor in my lifetime. Solomon delivered on all of his promises and now I have a wonderful studio to work in.At the onset of the project I was told the job would be completed in less than 20 days and it only took 6 days for them to complete!. The team was very organized and Solomons communication skills are beyond reproach. He and his team are very professional, knowledgeable and hard working.Solomon stayed on target with his quote and there were no changes in cost throughout. His quote was right on target with what Id hoped to pay for this project. Extremely fair and right in my budget.I would recommend J & I Home Design to anyone looking for a very honest and qualified builder. A++ in all aspects of my project!
