    If I could give Hammer Head Group 100 stars I would. James and his team did an amazing job on our project, which encompassed every room in our house. They were always professional and responsive, they showed up and worked hard every day, and tidied up each night before they left. It was obvious from start to finish that they take pride in their work, value their clients and make excellent customer service a priority. And I havenā€™t even talked about the actual work yet, which was perfection! We had a big job, painting every room, painting kitchen cabinets, re-finishing our wood floors, having new vinyl floors and carpets installed, whitewashing our fireplace, fixing and resurfacing our living area ceilings plus more. Everything was done to the highest standards, and if, on the rare occasion something wasnā€™t quite what we expected, James and his outstanding team addressed it in short-order. Now we have a home that looks and feels brand new! I am beyond happy that we chose Hammer Head Group for our home project and would not have an ounce of hesitation to use them in the future!

    I sit down to write this review a few months after Hammerhead completed their project in my home. I wanted to wait to make sure that everything was in order before I wrote my review.I hired Hammerhead to perform a near total renovation of my first floor, stairwell to the second floor, and second floor hallway. They replaced my floors (installed new wood floors), doors, fixed all the imperfections in my walls, painted all walls and my kitchen cabinets, installed crown and base molding, new casings around the doors, white washed my fireplace and completely renovated my powder room (tile work, wainscoting, new sink and toilet, etc).When I first called Hammerhead, the owner, James, answered the phone himself. He was friendly and was able to put me on the schedule for a consultation.He arrived on time, listened to all of my ideas (there were many), and spent nearly an hour with me. Within a week or so, he scheduled another appointment with me to review the work. This became the first of many meetings that he personally made with me to review, discuss, and plan my project. I initially wanted to paint and do new moldings in the house but then I gradually expanded my project. James was one of the most responsive and attentive business owners Iā€™ve ever dealt with. While he has an incredible team, he is the face of the company and was always personally involved in my project and was my point person.I highly recommend Hammerhead for several reasons. If you are looking for a contractor, you need someone who will answer your calls or return your calls the same day, promptly respond to text messages, listen to your ideas, be a sounding board, show up to your worksite, supervise their workers, and give you their best, every. single. day.I know Hammerhead has other clients but I felt like I was their ONLY client. Everyone should feel this way when going through the stress of major renovations to their home.Another reason to hire them is that their work is beautiful. James is a perfectionist and everything in my home was done to perfection.Thanks to James and his awesome crew, my 1980ā€™s home has been transformed. Before Hammerhead, my house didnā€™t feel my own. Hammerhead turned my house into a home.When deciding to undertake any renovation, you need to hire someone you can trust.     I would recommend Hammer Head Group time and time again. James was extremely professional and very present and responsive during the entire process. We went to his offie before hand and saw his work and samples, and after the cabinets were finished he came and checked everything out to make sure everything looked good. There was a small chip on one of the cabinets and part of the wall not painted and he immediately sent out his guys again to take care of it. The workers that painted the cabinets were SO nice and respectful. This company get a 10/10!! Thank you for transforming my kitchen into a bright wonderful space!! :)

    Do NOT look anywhere else! Jimmy and the Hammer Head Group is a one stop shop. These guys can do everything and are so good at what they do. We used the Hammer Head Group for painting our whole house and power washing the entire exterior. This is our first home, so we were very nervous and wanted to find the perfect painting company. We had a few other estimators come out to give us a quote, none of them left and impression like Jimmy did. Jimmy is very professional, punctual, and very responsive to either phone calls, text messages, or emails, which made the whole process worry free. (He also recommended a color and it was perfect!) Besides Jimmy, the workers doing the painting were very neat, friendly, and on time. I wouldnā€™t change a thing! We plan on using the Hammer Head Group for our future projects.     Cannot say enough about how happy I am with my new kitchen! I had a very old and outdated kitchen that was in desperate need of a remodel. James and the Hammer Head Group team were able to create the kitchen I have always wanted!     I cant say enough about Jim and Hammer Head Group. There is a passion behind Jim and his work that you immediately pick up on; I knew from the moment we hired him to paint our 1920s Craftsman exterior that we we were in good hands! From the initial inquiry to the last day of the job ā€“ Jim was available and attentive to all our concerns and provided top-notch service at a fair price. Hammer Head showed up when they said they would and worked full days at an impressive pace. When weather was an issue, I was notified immediately of any changes. Jim was proactive and efficient and even personally stopped by, rolled up his sleeves and addressed an issue with an old door. Having an older home with many layers of paint ā€“ Jim was a straight shooter about about expected results and the scope of repair they would do. Any issues were addressed immediately. The guy is not only a great business man, but he also has a big heart and is very easy to work with and his crew are salt of the earth. Highly recommend!

    If I could give 10 stars I would. Hammer Head puts all other contractors to shame. I am so happy I chose them to remodel both of my 40 year old original builder grade bathrooms.     Its hard to find a contractor as reliable, honest and capable as James Cavalucci and his company Hammer Head Group.Hammer Head Group did an outstanding job transforming my very outdated 1954 house into a beautiful new home. They completely renovated the entire house including 2 bathrooms, dining room, bedrooms, and the original 1954 kitchen. They refinished the original hardwood flooring, added recessed lighting, created a first floor laundry room, and even rebuilt the back porch.James and his office staff and workers are very reliable and professional. The Hammer Head crew of skilled workers showed up on time, worked diligently and left the work area clean and organized at the end of the day. They were always polite and pleasant. I always felt comfortable having them in my home even when I was not there.James Cavalucci is wonderful to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. James is always available to his clients and responds to questions and concerns immediately.     I do not write reviews often, but Hammer Head Group is certainly worthy of one. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish! They are extremely reliable, attentive, and trustworthy when it comes to working on projects throughout your home.This was our second time working with them in the past two years. Everyone who came to the house was extremely hard working, efficient, and professional. They would get to the house on time and when they were done, would clean up after themselves. They did a fantastic job on our three bathrooms and master bedroom. Joe, the project manager, came by the house several times to check on the progress. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He guided us along when we wanted to make any adjustments and changes to the bathrooms.The owner, James, was also very involved throughout the project. He comes to your house, looks at the work you want done, and then sits down with you to go over everything in detail. Throughout both projects, he communicated thoroughly and made sure we were 100% satisfied with the work being done.     The Hammer Head Group was recommended to me by my roofing company to repair damage done to my garage ceiling due to snow & ice from last winter. After reading the many positive reviews that James and his company received, I decided to meet with James to discuss the work I needed done not only in the garage, but also exterior power washing and painting and interior work to my house and property. James was easy to talk to, made good suggestions and I felt like I was working with a friend in the business. My husband and I signed the contract and our timing was perfect since they had just finished a job that day and we agreed to start the next day. James and his team showed up bright and early and helped us finishing emptying the garage & shed by moving out the heavy items, and then they went to work. They were professional, polite, communicated with me regularly and did an amazing job on each area they tackled. At the end of each day, they very thoroughly cleaned up the area they were working in. James either texted me or stopped by regularly to make sure every thing was going well and was what I expected. Of course, I was so happy with the exterior work, that I kept adding work that needed to be done inside my home. James was more than happy to accommodate me and we still finished the job within days of our expected end date. I highly recommend the Hammer Head Group for any home maintenance work or painting.     I needed to have a portion of ceiling replaced, and it was just by luck that i called and spoke to the owner of hammer head. he gave a quote and explained what to expect. the two workers showed up on time and were very professional. the job came out great. the cleanup afterward was exceptional. you never would have known the work that had been done a day earlier. I would call them again and I would definitely recommend this company.

    There are few companies I will vouch for based on their responsiveness, professionalism and workmanship when it comes to construction but Hammer Head Group is certainly one that deserves high ratings. I had to hang and paint ceiling drywall in a very tight workspace above a guest shower. James was very open and honest about what his team could do and what they might not be able to do. When I asked if they could accommodate my calendar due to visitors needing the shower, they never overcommitted but assured me they would try. As soon as they had an early opening the Hammer Head team came through and did the work sooner than expected. The team was very professional and the foreman walked me through all phases of the job and came back to check in the work. Not only was the job quick and of high quality, but it was as if no one was ever there the whole day. The crew was very neat and respectful and left no trace of the normal mess and dust behind. I will 100% be calling them back for future jobs.

    This is the second time within a month that my wife and I contacted the Hammer Head Group to perform some specialized work in our home. This time we wanted vinyl plank flooring installed in our family room along with new base molding and quarter round.Again we met owner James, in his gorgeous office, and went over exactly what we wanted installed in our family room. We were then placed in the very capable hands of Project Manager Joe who visited our home to measure the area.It should be mentioned that Cassie, the Office Manager, was very instrumental with providing us with beautiful samples for us to consider choosing. We were given a price to complete the job using their recommended superior quality flooring which was fair and reasonable.After letting Office Manager Casie know our choice of flooring it was delivered a few days later so that it could, as prescribed, acclimate to the room. And within a short period of time later we were contacted by the very capable and attentive Casie, to arrange the install.The flooring and base moldings were installed flawlessly by their flooring crew. It looks absolutely beautiful. Project Manager Joe was involved from start to finish. The install crew were very skilled, they were very courteous, professional and cleaned the entire area perfectly.As I have previously stated, and will say again, we definitely recommend the Hammer Head Group for your home projects. They do excellent work and provide fair and reasonable pricing.     James and his crew at Hammer Head did an amazing job on our kitchen refresh. They arrived when they said they would arrive, they left when they said they would leave, they were respectful and cleaned up after themselves every day. Most importantly, the work they did was top notch. They painted over our dark cherry cabinets, installed crown molding, and painted the ceiling, walls, molding, island, garage doors and front door.     We wanted popcorn ceiling removed, which is a messy job and requires a great deal of skill to repair the ceiling underneath to a nice smooth texture, so we went with Hammerhead based on reputation. So glad we did! The ceilings are perfectly smooth. Also had the living space and two bedrooms painted -- beautiful quality. Everyone that comes over comments on the perfect edges. You can trust this company.We were referred to Hammerhead Painting by friends, and we too had an excellent experience with Jimmy and his crew.     From the onset of calling around to get estimates for our painting job it was clear that James and the Hammer Head Group were a cut above. James went out of his way to accommodate our needs, was very communicative and gave a quote that was fair and got his crew to work right away upon agreement. After completing a TON of drywall repairs (previous owners had done a lot of spotty patch work and made some interesting color choices) they painted our entire house and having only lived here for three weeks it instantly feels more like our home. The work they completed was top notch and James continually checked in to let us know what would be happening next and what if anything still needed to be addressed. Their attention to detail was excellent and the team was here first thing every morning ready to work. If you want to save yourself the time and calls to other contractors just trust that Hammer Head will do an excellent job and the exceed your expectations.

    I hired Hammer Head Group Painting & Remodeling to paint the entire interior and to power wash and touch up the exterior of my home. I initially reached out and was pleased to promptly hear back from Hammer Head owner Jimmy Cavalucci. My first impression of Jimmy was that he was very professional and compassionate. My husband has some physical challenges and Jimmy suggested some home improvements that would assist my husband with his mobility. Jimmy listened carefully, assessed the needs of our home and easily planned out the job. His crew did amazing work! They were timely, courteous, professional, efficient, hard-working and very neat. The crew was easy to work with and they produce high quality work. They took great care in moving our furniture and were so very careful with all of our belongings.     James from Hammer Head was a pleasure to deal, we had a large renovation done, including new stairs. He worked around our schedule to make sure we were always able to access both floors of the house at the end of the day. The guys that worked for him were great too and did an awesome job. They came when they said they would, and stayed late when they needed to. Including working till almost 8pm the Saturday of 4th of July weekend so that we had a usable bathroom for a BBQ. I would not hesitate to use them again and have already recommended him to coworkers.

    We felt that James and Hammerhead were honest and professional. We tried a couple other places and did not receive responses. James told us it would be about 3-4 weeks given their workload and sure enough, he called about 3 weeks later to schedule for the end of the week. The scheduled date for work it rained, needed outside to be dry for this work and he rescheduled to have done immediately following the rain (a couple days later). The work was definitely quality, his communication was excellent and we felt the price was fair. If you need this type of work completed, I recommend that you check out James and Hammerhead before anyone else to see if they can accommodate your needs.

    Our roof leaked and caused ceiling issues. Hammerhead pull the seam tape and fixed all thelines and little nicks in the drywall all over the house. James and his team were incredibly detailed and professional. I have high expectations for work in my house and they did not miss a single thing. Paint lines perfectly lined up on the moulding and wall edges . They did tons of moving stuff and they did a great job cleaning everything up at the end.

    Jimmy and team recently completed painting my finished basement. Cant beat the price and quality of work. It was not an easy job. They had to paint over wood paneling. First it needed a light sanding; after that an oil based primer had to be applied before painting. They did an excellent job!! It looks so good!! Jimmy is very professional, from quoting on the job, providing a written contract, detailing the work to be done and the cost of the job. Great care throughout making sure the customer is satisfied.     I cant say enough good things about Hammer Head Group. Weve used them twice - the first time was for wall repair and painting and we were so impressed with their work and integrity that we didnt hesitate to hire them for a much larger job. The bottom line is that you can absolutely trust them. If Jimmy says he can do it, he can. If he says hell be there, hes there. If he says it will be done, it will be. Over the course of a six-week project, we had a lot of different people in and out - demolition/construction, HVAC, wallboard, flooring and painting - and every one of them was excellent. They were on time, professional, and did high-quality work. At the end of each day, they left everything neat. Throughout it all, Jimmy kept us completely in the loop; there was never a day that I didnt know who was coming and when, or what the next steps were. When the job was done, he went over every inch with us to make sure we were 100% satisfied. This is someone who takes great pride in his companys work and stands behind his product.     I recently noticed the rain gutter in the front of my house was sagging and decided to do an internet search for a local repair service. I read a lot of great reviews about Hammer Head Group and learned that others at Princeton have had wonderful experiences with them as well, so I gave it a shot. Left a message with Jimmy on a Monday and he got back to me within the hour. He came out with a crew do do the repair that Friday! Im sure hed have come sooner but it was a crazy week with a lot of bad weather and I didnt need the work done in a rush. Will definitely be calling Jimmy again for future jobs at my home! Quick, excellent service with a smile, and very easy to work with!

    I called to make an appointment for an estimate and Jimmy, the owner, was over in 10 minutes. That was the start of one of the best experiences Ive ever had with a private contractor. The price was more than reasonable. Moreover, Jimmy found the earliest and most convenient time slot available for the project. What was originally supposed to be a 2 to 3 day job was over in 8 hours. They came in, got to work, and cleaned up when they were done. The work was absolutely perfect and my wife and I are still in awe. We will absolutely recommend and hire again for future projects. More companies can learn from Jimmy and hammerhead group.

    I originally called Hammer Head Group because of the reviews I read online. The first thing that impressed me is that Jimmy answered the phone when I called. From that moment I have never had a better experience working with a contractor. Jimmy and his crew are professional, friendly and extremely hard working. At first I only needed someone to pressure wash my home but I was so impressed with everyone involved that I kept calling back to have quite a bit of exterior work done as well.     Jimmy from Hammerhead group and his team just completed work on my home which included several complex projects. He repaired and painted my ceiling throughout our open kitchen, dining room, and living room which had several holes and cracks. In addition to making the ceilings appear seamless between all the rooms, he was able to recreate the swirled plaster finish. Very impressed! The ceilings look great! He also beautifully refinished our kitchen cabinets with high quality paint products, painted our bathroom tiles, living room, hallway and bedroom.     Signed a contract for power washing of the exterior and for 3 areas inside my home to be painted. I was offered a fair price for the work. The crew showed up on time and did excellent work. The two painters took their time and paid attention to detail, such as, fixing nail pops, spackling, moved furniture and replaced. The final product is great! I would recommend Hammerhead to others.     Today we had a very successful experience with Hammer Head Group, LLC. We hired them to do exterior painting for our 22 year old home. That included 14 shutters, front door and a very large front porch with many posts and railings. We are retired and can no longer do some of the upkeep required for our home. The painters were exceptional. Very professional, polite and hard working. Its very hard to find a reputable company via the internet. Fingers crossed.....I found a wonderful company!     I was referred to Hammerhead by my realtor. We bought a townhouse that needed a bit of remodeling. It was a big project, but Jimmy and crew came out to survey the project, offered suggestions, and they were able to get started quickly. They didnā€™t up sell me on anything and offered thoughtful recommendations. His crew was punctual and professional. In the end it looks like a new construction. Every wall was patched and painted, two bathrooms were gutted and redone, kitchen backsplash added, new carpet, kitchen under cabinet lighting, and electrical for mounted TVs.     You hear about people pulling up carpet and finding gleaming floors underneath, but that was not the case for me. There were scratches, paint spills, even carpet padding stuck to the hardwood floors. Yikes!     Hammer Head Group and James Cavalucci perfomed an amazing job remediating damage to our home after a pipe break. We had damage in the first level of the house. Our goal was to ensure that the restoration was handled professionally and completed in a timely manner while monitoring the cost.     Wow sums up my impression and conclusions of jimmy and his company (hammer head group) !!! Jimmy took on a very large project for my parents home in Princeton nj. My mother and father couldnā€™t say enough good things about this man. I had called him after being referred to use his company by a friend . I explained my situation and need to him and within 2 days to follow he was at my parents home helping them. Addressing every issue, project, question, and inquiries. The project included four rooms of decorative custom carpentry , the whole second and first level of the homes hardwood flooring, Sheetrock repair and spackle, priming and painting of the entire first floor and base molding on the second level. I love my mom to death but sheā€™s not an easy women to work with . Sheā€™s very picky and questions everything (most of the time when there is no need). Jimmy was very professional, caring of my mothers needs and project , super patient, always on time and always answered the phone. Even when he was in meetings he would reply by text. Above all the quality of work was flawless and fairly priced !!!! My parents home is now beautiful and my they are beyond happy and satisfied! They will never use another contractor above him!!! Jimmy and his team truly rescued me and my kids from the work of a prior contractor that left us in a desperate and horrific situation for 5 months. The unprofessionalism, poor workmanship and complete lack of care for my project left me with destroyed hardwood floors, no kitchen, no appliances, unfinished paint throughout the home, no washer or dryer and a pile of construction debris in my backyard! I felt hopeless as a single working mother of three children that was in the constraints of a highly regulated 203 Renovation Loan when I bought the home. On October 14th at 10:08am I posted a desperate plea on Facebook looking for a reputable, licensed and insured General Contractor that could help. Within 20 minutes I received a call from Jimmy Cavalucci who was courteous, reassuring and beyond professional. He came to my home the next day and by Thursday all the necessary paperwork needed by the mortgage company was submitted. Friday, October 19th Jimmyā€™s team began working on my home. It was an absolute miracle! One week later, on October 27th ALL of the renovations and clean-up were complete! His team of professionals are incredible.     Incredible team! We originally used HHG for powerwashing our home, which was done impeccably and efficiently! The house looked brand new, so that led to us looking at other work that needed to be done. Our oak front entrance door and sidelights take a beating from the sun and Jim and his team sanded, primed and painted it to make it look like new! They fixed a shed door that was sticking, and it was all done with a smile, reasonably priced and just an easy personality that is lacking in so many other contractors. They prepped the area, moved the furniture, which they werent required to do and completed the job in a meticulous but timely fashion. After they were finished, you wouldnt have known they were except for the wonderful job they did staining the deck and stairs.We couldnt be happier with the finished product and are so happy that we went with Hammer Head Group.     Hammerhead Group removed popcorn ceiling, wallpaper, painted 3 rooms, removed carpeting and installed hardwood floors in the 3 rooms. My 3 ceilings that had popcorn look amazing.     This group does much more than painting. The refinished floors are beautiful, the drywall work came out great! They painted two floors of a townhouse that had a hard to cover color with two coats of paint, plus all trim and doors in two days! And it was not a rush job. Just very professional work.     I have hated my kitchen for as long as I have lived in my house (about 8 years). But I was always ā€œtoo busyā€ to do something about it. He also provided professional advice on other things that I may want to consider. I really appreciated his thoughts and insights into other things that I could add if I wanted. But he never pushed or tried to convince me to do those things to up sell. He was providing options and then left it up to me.Jimmy was very meticulous throughout the Process, about the contract, setting expectations, and ensuring I was fully informed of everything.     My wife and I rely on reviews for services like these and in my area Hammer Head Group stood out in the crowd. I have to say the reviews online are spot on! Jimmy, the owner mind you, came out to my house to survey the scene and provide a quote to paint 5 interior rooms, walls, ceilings, and trim. He was very detailed while at my home inspecting everything his company would put a hand on. He was at my home for about an hour and got back to me very quickly with what we thought was a reasonable quote. After, having 2 other painting companies come out for quotes, we realized that not only was his quoted lower than the other two companies, but there was a big difference in the way things were handled. Jimmy was the only owner that came out to my home, his attention to detail was well above the rest, and most importantly he was extremely flexible with our time and work schedules. Up until this point my wife and I were extremely happy we decide to move forward with Jimmy and HHG, but it wasnt until after the work was done that we realized how amazing his work and company is.Jimmy showed up the first day of the job and greeted my wife and I very early with a big smile and introduced his employees to us, he then went around with them and showed them everything that would be painted and remembered every detail that we spoke about earlier. The painters that were at my home were very friendly while there, were quick, clean, and very precise. I have an old home (built in 1850) and nothing is straight. They were able to cut in and line things up like if it was new construction! Other than the great service provided I would have to say that the best part of everything was how fast they worked. Jimmy quoted me a 3 day time frame and they were finished painting, cleaned up, and on their way in a day and half! Obliviously no job is ever 100% perfect and there were a few spots that needed some touch up, but the painters were more than happy to open up the paint cans and go over some missed spots to ensure we were pleased. They really went above an beyond and we couldnt be happier. We liked Jimmy and HHG so much that we have been giving our friends and family their business cards and plan to have HHG stain our fence and power wash our shed in the spring.If you are like me and use reviews to chose contractors do yourself a favor and dont look any further! You will not be disappointed!
