Grandview Electrical was recommended to us, and we could not have been more grateful to work with Larry. He is personable, professional, trustworthy, communicates in a timely manner, and FOLLOWS THROUGH on his word and his work - ridiculously difficult to find even a couple of those traits these days! Larry was asked to wire our hot tub, and he went steps further to suggest a concern with the installation of the electrical system from our build. Following thorough explanation, expertise, and rationale, we had Larry make the correction needed as well as add additional outlets. We implicitly trusted Larry to make it right, and he did. We have undoubtedly found our ‘go to’ for electrical work. Thank you, Larry!

Im not from Traverse City and really didnt know where to go for electrical help. I saw Larry was highly recommended by social media so I went with him. I could not be more happy with my choice. He kept me up to date with what he was doing and when he was coming. Also I am very picky when it comes to things being perfect. Square, level. Professional work. I plan on using Larry for all my electrical needs going forward.

Larry from Grandview electrical is amazing! We have had him out before for a couple of jobs, large and small. He replaced some lights for us, replaced (upgraded) our breaker panel, and just now, came out on a Sunday within 30 minutes of my call to make sure my house is safe after I drilled into some electrical. He is prompt, professional, his fees are incredibly fair, and he does stellar work. I am also particularly pleased at how helpful he was today after my mistake and made sure we were safe. Grandview recently installed a Generac whole house generator, new panel, new sub, and 675 run of cable, with box, for shoreline power. All for less than what a franchised operation offered for just the generator and panel alone! Larry came out and was polite, courteous, and answered all my questions in terms I could understand. He started working and did not stop until the workday ended. I think youd be doing yourself a great disservice if you didnt reach out to Grandview Electric to review/quote your job!

I just bought a house in TC and needed someone to come out and check the electrical bc my electrical panel looked old.Larry from Grandview came out the next day and quickly diagnosed my issues (incl replacement of the panel). From there, he took care of everything. Coordinated with the town electric company, the city inspector, and parts for the new panel I needed.He came out on the scheduled day, replaced the panel, fixed some other items and was very quick.Added to this, hes just a very personable guy who is very reasonbale in his rates and is a pleasure to work with. I recommend him and Grandview unequivocally. In short? BIG FAN!

I called Larry at Grandview Electrical based on a strong recommendation from my neighbor. Larry stopped by the same day to check out my problem and make sure I didnt have an immediate safety issue. After a brief inspection he advised that I should replace the 1960 vintage electric panel, which would almost certainly fix the problem I was having. I wholeheartedly agreed. He completed the job in one day and left the work area neat and clean. Larry was friendly and professional in every way. I am 100% pleased with the job and if I need electrical work in the future I will make only one phone call to Grandview Electrical.

My family recently needed electrical repairs done to our vacation home near Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville. Our primary residence is located downstate about 3 hours away. This factor makes it challenging to schedule a local electrician whos willing to respond and accommodate our needs. After calling several businesses around the Traverse City area and getting no response whatsoever, Larry at Grandview Electrical immediately picked up, listened and offered to help. His reliability, professionalism and genuine willingness to serve customers was very impressive from start to finish. And of course his quality work has made our home safer and efficient. I am truly impressed with their workmanship and attention to detail. I would highly recommend Grandview Electrical.I am EXTREMELY pleased at the work they did! Larry and Sam were able to work my pole barn project into their schedule VERY quickly. I have used Grandview Electrical twice now. Most recently, today. Larry was very responsive and came right out to fix an electrical issue I had with a sewage pump that nearly caused a fire. He assessed the issue quickly, checked the panel, replace the switch and solved my problem in a matter of minutes. I had perviously had outdoor lighting installed on my garage by GrandView Electrical and that job was also done quickly, professionally and on time. As a real estate professional I highly recommend them to my clients for all electrical work.

Look, 5 stars is not enough to describe the perfection by which Grandview Electric operates. Larry Sizemore did a job in my wife’s mother’s house which was built in 1950 and had the original panel in it. The panel had water damage and the bottom was completely rusted out.There were serious problems with the panel and the wiring in some places. Larry replaced the panel and could not live with just doing that! He rerouted and replaced wiring and neatly tied them into the panel. He recognized that the basement had only two lights and ran several more so that the entire basement is like daylight. He even illuminated a dark stairway to ensure safety. I’d give Grandview Electric TEN Stars for the quality, professionally, attention to detail, and the above and beyond attitude. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
