The shop is located behind Elmers on 7th (and 20th). Google Maps do not make it clear but you can park in the parking lot to the right of Elmers (when facing Elmers door). Then you will see a gated area (with a few spots for owner parking)thats usually open, and a big garage door, thats the entrance to the workshop. Best to call or text Markus instead of just showing up. Ive been working here a few weeks now ( as of 9/11/21)and Markus (the owner) is very professional and great at what he does. He is partnered with his wife who works on the design and planning side with the clients. He took me in as an apprentice and Ive been learning the skills of the trade, much to my enjoyment. Hes a great teacher with lots of patience. The two other guys, Mark and John are also quite gentlemanly and being a female, I have never felt uncomfortable or picked on. On the contrary, they are quite knowledgeable, patient and fun to work with. From what Ive seen so far, seems like we mostly work on kitchen remodels- cabinets, specifically or bathroom vanities but also custom woodworking such as custom cabinets, shelving, built-ins, fireplaces and so on. I am surprised how quickly we, as a team get projects done! Within a week so far has been my experience.I hope to continue to work with these guys for a long time while I dive into my favorite hobby and turn it into a career I truly enjoy.*Pictured is an after picture of a cabinet project we did last week. These were old oak cabinets, so the grain was deep and we had to fill the grain before refinishing. The client picked the color of the paint and we got straight to work. We took the cabinets to the shop and 2 days later returned to prep/paint the cabinet bodies. Next day install the cabinet doors. The client was very happy and we finished the whole project within a week.
