We hired 5K electric to install new ceiling fans in four areas of our home. Robert is a professional and works in excellence. He accesses the job/s and materials to ensure proper weight, watts, etc. and goes to work. He cleans up after himself, all while being personable. We had four different types of fans and a couple more modern and complex installations. Didnt phase him at all. He was able to diagnosis that one of our fans had a manufacturing defect because of a device (forgot to ask him what its called) that he uses to ensure electrical pulses are flowing through and where they should. We passed this along to our seller and were given a full refund and purchased the last fan. We have claimed 5K LLC as our family electrician and will definitely call them for any other needs or projects we have in the future. Again, excellent work and professionalism.

We contacted several electricians for a quote to install an EV outlet in our garage. Robert was definitely friendly, reasonably priced, and most of all seemed to be very knowledgable. He was very communicative too. When he came out all the way to Lacey for the installation he found out that a piece ordered was not the correct one. Although he had to look around and find the right piece and come out again to finish the project he was very willing and chill about it. The installation was perfect, nicely done, and of course working properly. Any electric problem will be handled by Robert for our household from now on for sure! Contact Robert if you need help. Amazing service. Robert was able to get me in short notice. When he got here, he explained everything that was going on and answered any questions I had with no hesitation. Reasonable pricing and honest work. Definitely will be working with him in the future for some future projects. I highly recommend 5k electric. Even took some extra business cards to give out to any family, friends and coworkers that will need electrical work done.

We needed two electrical panels replaced in our home that was built in the 70’s, and after working with multiple subpar/difficult contractors over the last two years for other projects we were def not looking forward to needing this done as well. However, the 5k team blew us away with their knowledge and care!They came out quickly and on time to conduct the assessment, explained their recommendations thoroughly, and had very reasonable pricing. Better yet, we work from home so they were willing to complete the work when we were out of town to mitigate the impact of electricity downtime while it was done.We came back home to a fantastically finished project hassle free! They even cleaned up wiring from these weird doorbell switches for our garage doors unprompted.I never thought I’d rave about an electrical company, but as a woman who’s dealt with a ton of jerk contractors the last two years in this money pit we call a house, it was nice to be treated well by this team. Will use again in the future, and highly recommend!

5K Electric is EVERYTHING!! I called around to a few places and decided to book with 5K because there was an electrical issue on one side of our duplex. Robert arrived same day and helped us. He explained the issues and options. The price was VERY REASONABLE! He fixed our issue- same day! I appreciate his effort and would recommend him to EVERYONE!!! They showed up and were amazing! I have a husband who wants to know everything and explain everything and they were so patient! Wives you understand!! I have a 3yr old who wants to help as well and again they were amazing. Now back to work! They fixed our wiring problem very quickly and explained what was the problem! They fixed another problem that wasnt the reason they came out as well! They added screws to outlets that were not a problem but still fixed them. They wore shoe covers in the home even when told it wasnt needed! This is the team I would love to come back in our home! 10+start rating! They came to our home after hrs with smiles on their faces! Thank you both so very much for your help!!!!

Wow! Amazing experience with this family owned business. I can’t say enough good things about this company.They were easy and pleasant to deal with from start to finish. Everyone we spoke with was so kind and professional.Robert, the owner, is great. He really took his time explaining to us the work he was doing and answering all of our questions. You can tell he really cares about the quality of the work and services he’s providing. A true craftsman. Plus we felt good having him in our home and around our family unlike other contractors whose presence has felt like an intrusion.They were on time, efficient and their prices were great. We’ll definitely be using them again.

We had to install a hot tub and change the wiring to 220v. It was an involved process that but 5k was ok it right away. They were quick, courteous, professional, timely, and did a very high quality job. Their pricing was very fair—especially when considering the high quality of work they did. I will be hiring 5k for all future projects.

This family owned business is on point! Robert the owner was professional and answered my questions. He came up with a much better solution than the one I had, and he had my issues resolved quickly. In a restaurant when equipment goes out all you need is to get it fixed efficiently and quickly. Id highly recommend 5K electric.

Robert was great! My partner and I thought that we could hang a chandelier by ourselves ... No on died, the house didnt burn down and no divorce 😅 but no chandelier got hung. Super responsive to our inquiry, we had him scheduled to come in the next day.In less than 3 hours, Robert had hung the chandelier, 3 pendant lights and checked out a plug we have issues with. They all looked awesome and worked great!He cleaned up after himself.Also, the cost was less than other quotes we got to just hang the chandelier. We will be using him in the future!

We moved to PNW last year, moving into a newly remodeled, but older home. One of the first things we had to do was run power to a doorbell. I reached out to some random electrician (not knowing the area yet) but that didnt end well. Yes, power was run to the doorbell as I had asked. BUT - now my switches for the front outside lights had been removed, and the porch light was on constant and set at a VERY HIGH power. I lived with it for a year, but couldnt tolerate that porch light lighting up the entire neighborhood every night any longer.So - I reached out to 5K Electric last week to look at the problem and see if it could be corrected.They came out Monday (right on time) - spent an hour or two looking at the wiring (which is a holy mess), checking out all the options - and ultimately came up with a solution. They ordered the necessary part, and arrived Friday to finish the job. (It was delayed to Friday because of MY schedule. They had the part and were available Wednesday).Friday they arrived - again on time - put everything together as it SHOULD be, gave me the ability to dim or turn off that obnoxious porch light, and even cleaned up the few finger prints they left on the light switch, and the dead bugs inside the porch light. Neither of which had I pointed out - that was on their own initiative.Now - I had my light switches back, with full control to not only turn off the porch light, but dim it to a more comfortable brightness. And my doorbell is powered just like I had originally wanted. Perfect solution, and result.I was so very impressed by not only their creative solution, and care in investigating the problem thoroughly - but by their professionalism, friendliness and respect for their work. Arriving on time is rare - and they did that both days. They were both gracious in their demeanor, smiling as Id yap about one thing or another, all the while getting the job done and done right. And cleaning up the workspace before they left! Brilliant!I cant praise them enough. I was so impressed by their work, and how they present themselves throughout the job - I would recommend them 100%. They will be my first call for any electrical related issues moving forward. This is the third electrical company Ive dealt with, and I wish to heck I found these guys first! I inquired about getting an EV charger install on a Friday, and the next day -- a SATURDAY -- the owner was out taking measurements, and on Monday it was completely done. They were also significantly cheaper ($2100 for this work, previous contractor whom didnt even show up estimated $3700!) but to be honest, Id be fine even if they werent cheaper just by being so hassle free in getting it done and being responsive.By comparison, the first electrical contractor I dealt with rewired my house, promised to have it done in 3 days but it dragged on over a month, and they left a huge mess. The second I tried to get this EV charger installed from, they promised to have it done inside a week of the initial inquiry but didnt even show up, later said itd be another week. I mentioned my frustration with their not keeping their promised date; they denied ever having made one (even though it was in the very first e-mail they sent me in response to my inquiry) and dropped me as a customer. I get everyones shorthanded, I get things take awhile, but dont make promises you cant keep. I was admittedly nervous 5K promising to have it done so quick, but they actually did! Again, 5K is the one I will go with in the future when I have more projects.You, potential customer, work hard for your money, electrical projects arent cheap, you deserve honesty and respect and you get it from 5K!

Couldn’t possibly have been more pleased or impressed by the work Robert, Sarah, and the 5K family/team recently did for us. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone in need of electrical work.In our case, with the home we bought a couple years ago, our home inspector noted that the old breaker boxes were a make/model that had been recalled and recommended we replace them not too far down the road, to avoid the risk of failure/house fire. FYI, these were 2 Federal Pacific “Stab-Lok” panels, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission has showed these particular panels to have an unacceptably high rate of failure, as they don’t reliably “break”.Having prioritized other needed renovations and sinking plenty of money into them over the last 18 months, I was nervous when I began looking around for electricians and asking about the effort and cost to replace these panels. But thankfully, we found and called 5K.Not only was their pricing incredibly competitive, both the quality of their work along with their responsiveness and willingness to work around our schedules to minimize any impacts to us being without power while the work was completed, was nothing short of impressive. Beyond impressive, to be honest, given the sense I’ve had of being taken advantage of—even ripped off—by other contractors in the past.Long story short; Robert and Sarah at 5K treated us like family. The quality of their work surpassed our expectations. And I have no doubt they would do the same for you.
