Electrician worked efficiently to install a fan junction box in spot that didn’t have any previous electrical. He worked quickly but did not make a mess and I was able to repair the drywall holes he created and installed the fan myself. Ring camera spotlight went in fast and easy as well. I will be using Vets Electrical Company for all my future electrical needs

Jesse and Kevin were very professional, courteous, and technically competent beyond my expectations. I had an extremely complicated chandelier replacement above a circular staircase 27 up from the bottom floor. These guys were fearless. Two other companies turned us down and initially wanted twice the fee charged by Vets. I highly recommend calling them. AND, I would like to add that they do hire Vets and I like that. I did not serve in the military but have high respect for vets and this is an outstanding way to give back.

After getting quotes for turn key installation of a standby generator we opted to buy one ourselves and find good tradesmen to do the installation.Somebody suggested Vets Electric abs we called to get a quote. Jesse was out the next day and his price was fair and even included a senior discount.Vets worked with us to schedule and reschedule the install due to slow shipping of the generator. Once we received it and got it in place we called and they were able to move the install up. Brandon and his assistant showed up on time. Once he realized there was no need for load shedding switches he was able to complete the job in one day.They stuck around to make sure everything worked after there seemed to be an issue with the gas line. Once the generator was operational he tested it and everything worked well. Vets pulled the necessary permit so we didnt have to and scheduled an appointment with an inspector for us.Overall they did a great job and we will use Vets Electric again the next time we need electrical work done.

We had a great experience with Vets Electric. They were prompt, professional, and customer focused. The electrician who gave us our estimate was thorough and explained details. He even recommended ways to save money. The electricians who completed the work were courteous, knowledgeable, respectful of the house, and finished under the estimated time. They also discovered ways to for me to save money and suggested how I might save time and money on the rest of my project. I highly recommend Vets Electric!

Vets Electric was amazing. After getting several quotes by different electricians in the Tacoma area, Jesses confidence, knowledge and easy to understand pricing sold us on this company. He did an excellent job explaining exactly what needed to be done, how they would do it, and what needed to happen to pass the inspection phase. The team came early and worked hard until the job was done. Everyone was friendly and skilled in the their work. Once they started, I knew I had made the right choice by going with these guys. For some reason I just felt at ease knowing that these were the guys working on my home. Panel replacement is never a straight forward task, but these guys sure made it seem like it was. They were incredibly professional. I feel like they went above and beyond the job they were here to do, but if I had to guess, Id say thats just the level of work they consistently perform. The only down side is that Im moving out of this area and wont be able to use Vets Electric again. I would absolutely recommend Vets Electric to any and all of my friends and family. Very satisfied with the service and installation. Jesse came out within a few days of my call and provided a thorough review and estimate of the cost. Alex came out within a week and installed a new circuit and two new outlets in my garage, plus 2 additional outlets outside. Very professional, nicely done. After buying our first home, we needed to have some electrical work done. Jesse, the owner, was prompt in returning my emails and scheduling an appointment. Alex and Damien arrived on time for our appointment, quickly completed the work, and then provided us with options and a thorough explanation of some additional work that needed to be completed so we could have a new water heater installed safely. They answered all of my questions and were great to work with. They will be our go to electricians!

Cassie was great to work with, she made sure that everything went well even when we were out of the country. Tara from their office was very helpful. The bid, my questions, and concerns were answered quickly to my satisfaction. I was able to get my project done the same week. 2 guys came to replace my bathroom fan and timer switch. They both wore masks and shoe protectors, They also followed the also social distancing rule. The job was completed in less than 2 hours. Both were friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend them and use them again for any future electrical jobs I may need.

Jesse and Dave came out and replaced my aging electrical panel. They were on time, efficient and got the job done with a minimum of interruptions for me and my family. We actually left for a short time and felt totally comfortable that we did not have to look over their shoulder to ensure that the job was done correctly. Vets Electric from the office staff to the electrician’s who came out to my house to remove all the knob and tube wiring and replace it with up to code wiring were absolutely amazing. Chris the lead electrician and Kyle the vet who assisted him were very professional and knowledgeable about the work to be done. Scott another vet came in to help as well was very friendly and as Chris and Kyle were easy to talk to and answered all my questions I had during the process. They finished the work a day early and not only did everything thing work without any problems they also added outlets and replaced fixtures to improve our living quality. I called on a Monday and talked with Tara about replacing light fixture with a fan. She sent me an estimate, including military discount and scheduled Alex to come the very next day. Tara was so friendly and professional and such a joy to talk with. I was notified about 20 minutes before Alex arrived. He was such a sweet young man and was diligent in completing all this COVID-19 that is necessary now. He went right to work and within 45 minutes the job was finished. The fan looks and works perfect and I am so grateful to this whole company. Alex also was so thorough and asked if I had any other electrical related concerns. This is the second time I used them. The first time they installed ceiling fans and made a mistake. However, they quickly got a drywall guy in a fixed the mistake, so I used them again because I appreciated the quick fix. And I had no issues that was about three years ago. I used them again, for a faulty breaker. Both individuals were professional, and nice. I would recommend Vets Electric.

Retrofitting an old home can be very difficult but the crew efficiently made their way through the process adjusting with each challenge and really coming through with a strong finished product. The communication throughout the project was articulated well and we had no sudden surprises. With so many options with different contractors and services it really is distilled down to the relationship the contractor provides and Vets Electric was fantastic. Not to mention their guarantee speaks for itself.

I was so impressed from my first meeting to go over my projects to the completion. I could have had this job done by an independent electrician for a third of the cost. I know everything is done to code and it is warranted. If going under the house was the right way, they did it and...no damage to repair to my walls! This was a two day project that was completed in one day. Three guys showed up.I’m retired Navy. I have trained personnel my entire career. I mentioned I was open to apprentices. Not sure but suspect two of the young men were apprentices. They did great work.I will use Vets Electric Company again! I know the consequences of cheap electrical work. I sleep well every night.I cannot thank them enough!

Brandon was able to replace the old wiring to my water heater and hook it up! Another company told me it would have been a $1300 repair for the electrical work but vets electric charged less than a 1/4 of that price. Brandon showed up early and finished everything quickly and professionally. I will recommend Vets Electric to anyone who needs an electrician!

Im updating my review because, although what happened cannot be undone, the phone call that I received from Jesse was an attempt to make it right, and I appreciate his honesty and willingness to try to accommodate my needs. As I said, mistakes happen and Jesse owned up to the mistake on the part of his staff, and even offered to pay my bill. I didnt take him up on his offer because thats not what I was expecting and it just didnt feel right. I just value his honesty.I called this company on Jan 27 because I had lost electricity in half of my house. The soonest they could get me in was Feb 24. Since there were no other ones available I scheduled the appointment for 1130. Feb 24th arrives and noone shows up at 1130. I start thinking maybe I got the time wrong and it was supposed to be 130. So I wait. 130 comes and goes and still noone shows up. So I call their office. The person I talk to confirms all my information is in their system,, but tells me there was no appointment! Ive never been a customer so how did they get my information? She was apologetic and blamed it on miscommunication but it was an error on their part. She says she can get me on the schedule for Mar 5, which means another week. I know mistakes happen but dont try to make it seem like I misunderstood. You just failed to follow through.

Update: After the initial review, I was promptly called by the owner and had someone out in 2 days to correct the issue. They were apologetic and not only fixed our fan, but checked all other installed fans to make sure they were installed properly.The two techs showed up early, were friendly and got the job done quickly. They showed my husband where the install went wrong and what was being installed to correct the issue. We will use them in the future after going above and beyond to correct their mistake.We hired them in 2018 for an array of things. They seemed to do excellent work. But we have a room we have almost never used, finally put our newborn in there and the fan they installed fell out of the ceiling while turning the light on. It looks as if they installed the fan with the light box hardware instead of fan box hardware. Although they seemed to do good work, a fan should night fall out of the ceiling 3 years later. Extremely disappointing.

Jesse and his employees worked putting an extra outlet outside of my home for a hot-tub and an outlet for my newly built gazebo. They took the time to answer all of our questions and explain the workings of both outlets. They went above and beyond the scope of their job. My connected smoke alarms were chirping and new batteries were not solving the issue. I asked Jesse if I could pay him to solve the problem, he found a loose wire in one of the alarms and the problem was solved, no charge! I am a homeowner and can honestly say that I will never call any other electrician, Vets Electric will be my go to electricians for any work that I need completed. Courteous, reasonably priced and I love the fact that as a veteran myself, I can hire veterans and use a company that has the motto Make Veterans a Priority

I gave vets electric a call due to a fuse we thought was popping on the electrical box. They gave me a quote off what they thought it was over the phone and told me a technician would be out in the morning he was on time and professional. It turned out not to be the electrical box but a GFI outlet in the garage. After a phone call the owner of Vets Electric took a hundred dollars off the cost,being it wasnt as serious as the initial quote. Thank you for the savings!They do give a Veterans and military discount.

When Vets Electric came to my home and completed many jobs that needed to be done as our home is older ( 1970 ) and the electrical panel was WAY OVERLOADED...... they came out and completed a bid first and after Jesse ( owner of Vets Electric) went over every single detail of what he was going to complete in my home and why ( which I absolutely needed explaining to in layman‘s terms as I am not an electrician LOL ) We decided to move forward with the bid and everything that needed to be done to make our home SAFE and more energy efficient! I was very pleasantly surprised at how professional Jesse was and what an AMAZING job he did with all the work my home needed and then Vets Electric had an actual Tacoma Public Utilities Inspector come out to my home ( at a time that worked best for me) to make sure that everything Jesse had done to the electrical panel and everything else, was completed correctly! I was shocked with the inspector coming out to my home as no other electrical company that had been to my home ( I have owned my home over 6 years now) had EVER had a power company come out and inspect the electrical companies work!!! I WILL NEVER USE ANY OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPANY EXCEPT VETS ELECTRIC FROM NOW ON..... AMAZING COMPANY!!!!

What a ride! Jesse came out in June to do a free quote on my remodel which I needed honest advice on. He talked me through all my options and gave very fair advice without trying to upsell or tell me I had to go with overkill on pieces. After getting some financing figured out we called to see if the quote would be honored almost ninety days after its validity had expired, they did.John and Damien are rockstars and completed a panel replacement and rewire for our basement renovation quickly and professionally. They communicated clearly about issues and options as well as delays (about 5 minutes due to traffic). The rough in work was done a day quicker than expected and I look forward to seeing them for the trim out once we get the walls completed. Both of them obviously enjoy their work and working relationship and have a great working banter.I highly recommend this company as all employees are former veterans and know their field of work very well. I look forward to working with them on future projects!

I was in need of an outlet added to our master bedroom since we purchased an indoor sauna that required a 20 amp on its own breaker. I called at least 6 places and only 3 people got back to me. I guess since the housing market is in a boom the demand of contractors has increased. Cassie at Vets called me within an hour if not sooner of me searching on HomeAdvisor. Not only were they prompt in a return call but she was very informative and upfront about cost and time. They came out and completed the job within a week and did an excellent job. For the same job, when I did have others get back to me, I got quoted 3-4x times the cost of what Vets charged and some astronomical reasons of why. Vets is very reasonable and very professional. They have continued to follow up ensuring we are happy and all permits are taken care of.
