    I have called on Michael Runk Plumbing and Heating for all of my plumbing needs. Michael and his team answer emergency calls (I had a main pipe burst in the basement and was able to repair emergently), had another leak resolved from the HVAC humidifier, had my hot water tank replaced by Michael, and gave me the advice to contact MOEN for a much needed replacement kitchen faucet in which Michael installed for me this morning. Michael Runk Plumbing and Heating is reliable and can be trusted for quality work.

In addition, for all the work that was done, I was expecting sticker shock. That didnt happen - I felt it fair for the work that was done. Definitely recommend to others in the area.

    We had a leak in the water pipe from the street , leaving us with water in our basement. The plumbers who came to our house and the guys who worked in the yard worked very hard in scorching heat. They were miserably hot, but always friendly and helpful! I recommend these guys high”y!!

    Unbelievable Service ! We have well water and woke up one morning and had no water pressure. I called them an there were 2 qualified service techs, Mike Jr and Billy, out to our house in under 2 hours. I explained that the last time this happened I had to replace my water pump. They could have easily replaced my pump for a very expensive repair. Instead, they took their time to identify the problem and ended up fixing our pressure switch. Thanks Guys, youre our go to plumber for life !

    We called Michael Runk Plumbing for an emergency service repair on a leaking pipe. They were quick to respond, professional, and reasonable in price. After addressing the leak, they also repaired a faulty valve which was causing separate issues. This is not the first time we have called on Michael Runk Plumbing, and if we ever have another need, we will certainly call them again.

    We have used Runk Plumbing in the past and have been very happy with their service. Having found a leak under our sink they were the first I thought to call. Appointment was set up for Wednesday after calling in a Monday which was okay since it was a power room not used that often. When service person arrived he could not find the leak but did notice corrosion around the pipe extending down from the hot water handle. So we discussed and decided to replace the faucet completely. Service person went out to purchase the new faucet came back and installed it. Great work but was astonished at the bill just short of $500 no itemized bill to explain why it was so high will always in future ask for pricing before continuing

    Stephen is the absolute best plumber, he does a great job all the time, every time. He is so professional and so efficient. Erin is the best with scheduling all services and she is so nice and professional. Mike was very professional when giving me a quote on a plumbing project I had in my kitchen, I only trust this company with any plumbing issues or plumbing projects in my home.

    I hired Michael Runk plumbers several times to fill in when my contractor wasnt available. Long story short, I wish I had used them right from the start!The owner seems to hire honest, hard working, and very experienced plumbers. Theyve shown up on time and provided quick professional service for every job.For their last job, they fixed a mistake from my previous contractor that saved me the cost of a new toilet - hundreds of dollars. The other guy had left a parts bag inside the bowl before installing the toilet. Michael Runk Plumbing removed the blockage and made everything flow smoothly.If you need a local plumber, forget about the other guy, hire Michael Runk!

    This business provided quick and professional services. Their staff worked hard to get the job done and they charge a reasonable price. My well pump was down two weeks ago in a now day early morning. After I called 10+ local plumber, M.R. service said they will guarantee to send someone to my house. They came in late PM as promised and did a quick check. Then they replaced my pump which is under ground 398 feet. I really appreciate their fast service and I would recommend them to my neighbors and friends. Thank you!

    We had an issue with our old gas hot water heater which required us to get a new one (it was 18 years-old). After phoning Michael Runk P&H, in short order I was provided with a better model that has saved us considerably in energy cost. This endeavor involved some minor rearranging of some pipes and fittings to accomadate the new model. All the work was completed quickly and professionally with no mess (plus they got rid of our old unit). The experience was a good one. if Im in need of any future Plumbing & Heating work, Ill certainly call upon this business again.

    We got a visit from the county utilities department. Found out that we had a pinhole leak, in the water line entering the house. Called Michael Runk Plumbing. They came out and gave us an estimate. Michael called and said they had a delay on another job, and asked if they come come out the next day. They arrived on time and completed the job. Glad we found them and are happy with the results!

    I can’t complain at all. Michael Jr. and the rest of the team were very professional and got the job done. They replaced 42’ of sewage pipe leading to the city sewage, exterior to my home. The price was reasonable, and the workmanship was above standard. Example, the original sewage line was co-located with the fresh water line. To avoid future problems accessing the sewage line, they re-routed the fresh water line. They did this without asking or hitting me with extra charges. Next, they took the time to explain to me the type of pipe system material that was replaced, and explained exactly how they were completing the job. I can go on. I’m very pleased with Michael Runk Plumbing and will definitely be using them again.

    Recently, my main water service line broke under my foundation and was draining into my sump pump. Within minutes of calling about my predicament, I received a call back and a time was scheduled to check out the problem. I received a very fair quote that day. I was scheduled for replacement and even though the temperatures were in the single digits, everyone on the team did an excellent job. My property was excavated, new line was buried and my water was turned on, all within hours of them starting work. All work was done to my satisfaction with a smile and a firm handshake. It was a pleasure to do business with Mike and I look forward to using his services again in the future.

    I have a horse farm in Maryland and Michael Runk Plumbing and Heating has been our go to guy for several years. From replacing hydrants, to replacing and draining water filters, to fixing leaks, faucets, and even at the house finding a very pesky leak from a shower drain through a ceiling! He tries to arrive on time and really tries to give us realistic estimates and days he can be here to work. Mostly he (or his staff) arrive on the day scheduled, or can fit us in earlier. We are always impressed with the professional attitude and work. If he cannot get here in a timely manner, he lets us know, and we plan accordingly. Sometimes there are far greater problems than ours, so we prepare until he can arrive. We have not been disappointed.

    I was told I was going to have to replace most of the pipes in order to fix a simple broken nipple. Michael Runk came in and replaced JUST the broken part quickly and saved me $400 in the process. Plus they did it all without waking up my napping toddler. Cannot recommend them more highly!
