I previously used Charleston Electric to install a 22 KW Generac whole house back-up generator which we have been very happy with! So when I decided I need a whole house surge suppressor due to a recent surge that apparently damaged a couple of electrical devices in my house I called them. They were very responsive, honest, and provided excellent communication throughout the process and were very reasonable. The tech showed up on time and I was very happy with their work and customer service. I highly recommend Charleston Electric for any electrical needs!

Great professional company!!! I was an electricians apprentice a good 20 years ago for a short time. That experience has opened my eyes on what to look for in selecting a good electrician. Ive had other contractors at my house that used there in house electricians. They are hacks and cut corners. Charleston Electric is the opposite. You get what you pay for. They do neat quality work. They employ good trustworthy employees that will respect your property and treat it as there own. Five stars!!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Jessica is very helpful and quick to return calls. Jeremy did an awesome job repairing all of my wires, switches, and outlets that were damaged by a lightning strike. He explained every step of the repairs and checked other appliances and outlets to make sure there were no other damages. I appreciate Jessica and Jeremy and i would strongly recommend Charleston Electric.

The company responded quickly to my message to make an appointment. The electrician, Jeremy, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and conscientious. There were some issues that I was unaware of and he explained very clearly what needed to be done, explained the cost, and efficiently did the work.He was very respectful and professional. I highly recommend.

I have used Charleston Electric 3 times now for various different items that needed to be addressed in my new home. James was my tech for each visit and is by far the best electrician Ive ever dealt with. Hes personable, he tells me exactly what is going on/what needs to be fixed, gives me suggestions, is extremely efficient, punctual to our appointment times, and always makes sure that his work is correct before he leaves. I would definitely recommend the company, if for no other reason than the techs that theyve hired to represent their company. 5 stars for James alone!

Just completed the yearly maintenance agreement. The young technician (Paul Schuck) was a true credit to Charleston Electric. He was professional in every sense of the word.....polite, courteous and knowledgeable. He even did a refresher on the operation of the unit just to make sure I understood how certain aspects of the generator worked.

We use them for our home generator maintenance and repair. They also have been doing our routine electrical needs such as outlet replacement, ceiling fan installation, etc. If it has wires, they can work on it.

I had Charleston electric come out to troubleshoot my chandelier(handy man struck again). They were amazing on time and very knowledgeable. They took time to explain each step and even a little basic knowledge about electrical and what the last guy did and why it wasn’t working. We will call no other electrical company from now on.

Very pleased with my overall experience. I contracted this company to extend service for a spa. There was an unexpected service delay, but nothing I fault the company for (worker personal emergency). The admin was professional, and maintained regular communication. Steve and Michael installed the new service and did an excellent job.
