I had a crew come yesterday to replace all my windows. I was apprehensive about it, especially being in December, But I couldnt be more pleased. This crew was absolutely wonderful. I couldnt ask for better. They were kind, fast, explained everything to me and not only cleaned up after themselves, But put everything back the way they found it, inside and out. Ive had many home improvement jobs over the years, But these guys were by far the best. 10 stars for this crew.

Better Energy Solutions, Inc. absolutely deserves a five star review! The whole process of waiting since the initial application was long but so well worth it! Annette was great, initiating the start of the work. Joel from the office was great, keeping me informed with what to expect and any changes that came up pertaining to the work. Ray did an awesome job of measuring and selecting the windows for my house. Thank you, Ray, I love them!The work crew, Janis and his team came to my home in beautiful trucks and a trailer equipped with high tech equipment. Janis briefed me on what they would be doing - insulating and venting the attic, insulating the basement, the garage and living area. This included weatherstripping doors, as well as insulating one door and replacing another. They rerouted my dryer to vent outside and they installed a bathroom exhaust fan. Both made a huge difference in the moisture in the house!Janis and his team were professional, polite, knowledgeable and their quality of work was outstanding! Any concerns I had were addressed immediately. Janis and his team took time to take care of small details that they noticed, such as adjusting a door latch to close easier and a screen door to close correctly.During their time here, they treated my home with utmost respect, as if they were working on their own home. It was so apparent that Janis and his team take much pride in their work! I was impressed at how organized they were and how well they worked together as a team! Everything just seemed so seamless with them as they worked together. They were actually a pleasure to have here working on my home. Such a pleasant demeanor. Their work was clean and meticulous. If I ever needed work done by Energy Solutions in the future, I would request Janis and his team in a heartbeat! When they left, you could not tell anyone was here working on the house, inside and out.They also installed beautiful new windows. My old windows were falling apart, literally. They were in very, very bad shape, looked awful and leaked air badly. The new windows look absolutely beautiful. Janis and his team did such a wonderful job addressing every detail inside and out. I love my new windows! My living room was the hottest room in the house from the afternoon sun. I had to drape room darkening/black out curtains because it was so terribly hot in the room. The new window now blocks some UV rays and a lot of the heat, noticeably improving energy efficiency and comfort! Did I mention that I love the new windows? :-) They are so nice!I cant praise Better Energy Solutions enough ... as well as Janis and his awesome team! I would highly recommend them! I hope the team knows how much I appreciate my experience with them.Thank you so much!!-

What a great experience. Our audit with Mika was very informative, and he explained his findings without dumbing it down. This is the sign of someone who knows their specialty. His confidence was reassuring, and his recommendations were realistic.The install crew was lead by Elvis, and the team worked smoothly for 2 days. Honestly, we woke up after the first day feeling 10 degrees warmer. Issues discovered along the install were dealt with professionally and with no drama. It was honestly reassuring.Grateful for NYSERTA and the Em+power program, and very satisfied with the team at BES Inc.

I recently had this company at my house the last two days winterizing my over 100 year old home. The crew showed up on time and they went above and beyond over the course of two days. I immediately felt a difference in my home after they insulated all of the empty walls in my home. They worked so professionally and efficiently. I had glass from a windstorm over winter and the crew took care of the broken glass on my front porch for me. They also didn’t leave a single trace that they were there. Day two I got home to my work done in my basement and I couldn’t have been more impressed or happy with the work this crew did. They even replaced my old dryer vent for me and my burnt out light bulb on the front porch. The vents and ducts to my furnace were cleaned and repairedAbsolutely amazing, thank you all so much for everything.

They worked a long day, since there was much work needed in my attic(s) with insulation and installing the attic vents. What an invaluable experience!!!I was blown away at the productive information given by my auditor Andy, he was so professional and calm which eased my anxiety about the issues I thought my house would face to fix. If you need a great audit CALL THIS COMPANY, I asked Andy a million questions and he not only answered them all but showed me the places in the house as he explained the solution!!! (why cant NYSEG provide even a third of the information BETTER ENERGY SOLUTIONS shares!)Andy was thorough and detailed but easy to understand and follow; he made everything very straightforward and free from confusion. He was even able to advise on the areas of necessity since budget was a huge factor for us, we will be rethinking our windows and door quote from another company thankfully, and not get snagged on being sold more than we needed.Andy made sure he left with my full-understanding of how and WHY the project was needed and how the energy in my particular shaped house worked, the tips on how to better conserve and utilize my houses energy movement was in itself priceless. I feel relieved at how my energy bills can change moving forward-- I could not more highly recommend this company, especially for hiring such incredible employees you will probably not find elsewhere.

They showed up with a brand new Sprinter van hauling a trailer and 4-5 men. They spent the entire day identifying and fixing a host of insulation and air infiltration issues. They were top notch, professional and knowledgeable. Best house contractors I have had in this area. GREAT job!

I had an amazing experience with Better Energy Solutions. The initial NYSERTA audit was comprehensive and the auditor explained what needed to be done and why. For example, I had some issues with condensation and I was given the reason why it was occurring and what needed to be done to fix the problem. The complete insulating of my two attic spaces and two basement crawl spaces took two full days. The team that came were complete professionals and explained everything they were doing. At the end of each day I could not even tell that anyone had worked in the house because it was left immaculately clean. The house already stays warm after the wood burning stove dies down and the floors are no longer freezing. I can’t wait to see the energy bills at the end of this winter. I would highly recommend BES for your insulating needs.

I couldn’t believe when I saw this huge truck pull up n then seen this GIANT, long hose come out of it.I had no clue that’s how you were gonna be insulating my home.I can feel such a difference in my home. Was assigned to this contracter through Sealed via Con Edison. They did a fantastic job. Andy is very knowledgeable, pleasant, and easy to work with. After 5 years of huge temperature swings in both winter and summer, our house was much more comfortable and energy efficient from the moment they completed the work. They use an evidence-based practice where they measure the air exchanges in the house to ensure that the process was effective. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, Henry and Gus were tremendously helpful. Gus provided a broad and thorough assessment, educating us on the various improvements available to us and helping us to decide which pathway we felt most fit our needs.Gus was thorough enough to include important things we had not even thought about - like adding a fan vent for the bathrooms. In the final post-work visit with Gus he went over the results and talked about ways to continue to optimize on the benefits of our new insulation!Henry took great care to reach out at every opportunity to clearly explain the process and guide us through the sometimes confusing NYSERDA application steps!
