I highly recommend Breakwater Electric. I cant say enough great things about Don White, the owner, and his crew. It didnt take long for Don to recognize my problem, explain what the issue was and what needed to be done to fix it. I understood his explanation and had absolute confidence the work would be done correctly, in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. Which is exactly what happened. Plus Don has a very calming presence which was greatly appreciated as I stood in darkness because there was a major issue with one of the electrical panels.

Many of us in Bethany were unfortunate to be affected by the tornado of May 15, 2018. In each misfortune there is often a silver lining and along with the community pulling together we were fortunate to be introduced to Breakwater Electric in Stratford, Ct.Don White and his team did a great job re-connecting our electricity and upgrading our panel. Although it was a busy time, Don scheduled the work in a timely fashion and completed it as scheduled. His team was knowledgeable and made a number of accurate recommendations for how our panel should be arranged. They were respectful of our home and left the work area neat and clean.We give Don and Breakwater Electronic our highest recommendation for any of your homes electrical needs.

I had an issue with my houses electrical system and emailed Breakwater describing the problem and asking them to come out and check on it. Instead of coming out and charging me for a consult, they advised that the problem sounded like a utility company issue and to reach out to UI. They were spot on and UI came out to fix the problem for free. While I cant review the work of Breakwater Electric, the fact that they did the honest thing and directed me to the right place makes them top notch in my opinion. Now, anything I need, I am coming straight to them and recommending them to anyone that will listen.

Returned my call out of normal hours. Arranged to check my needs and provide quote. Did that exactly when he said he would. Very capable gentlemen. Personable to communicate with. Fair price. Under the conditions of repairing storm damage, a satisfying situation. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great company. Our central air had an electrical issue and the HVAC companies were all booked up for days. Don was able to come out the same day and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. Fast, friendly service for a fair price.
