    Chets has always been great in helping us with plumbing issues. Even when their schedule is full, they manage to squeeze us in around other jobs for emergencies. Another thing I appreciate is everyone from there weve dealt with over the years is very friendly and willing to explain what theyre doing and even show me troubleshooting steps and how to maintain my plumbing to avoid future problems.

    Chets Plumbing & Heating is the BEST there is! Over the past few years they have replaced the furnace, water heater, and AC system in my home. They also added a circulator to the plumbing system so that hot water is readily available at either end of the house in seconds. Each and every job has gone extremely well with professional, respectful, friendly and kind workers who are a pleasure to have in my home. The front office is quick to respond which is a blessing, especially when the AC dies in the summer! Within 24 hours of my AC dying, the system was replaced and is back up and running. Cant thank Chets enough!

    I contacted Chetā€™s to install a new kitchen faucet, sink and garbage disposal as well as run a new water line for an ice maker.     Had our boiler system replaced. jimmy came out right away and gave us a bid and explained what they would do., which was about the same as another contractor from the area, for half the price. Needless to say, we went with chets.they were out as soon as parts came in to install. Tim and Justice could not have been any nicer and more knowledgeable, they explained as they went, it was going to get cold that night so they worked late until 8;30pm so we would have heat.     The scheduling was easy and they came the day after I called. The workers were speedy and efficient and did excellent work. They were friendly and cheerful. They cleaned up the five separate project areas in my home (main shutoff valve and meter in basement, kitchen sink area, and three bathrooms) very well. The only downside was the bill was higher than I expected, but upon my request Chets supplied a detailed invoice that helped me understand the charges better. I was very pleased with the speed and quality of the work, and I feel it was worth it to pay extra for such good service.

    We are absolutely blown away at the great service we just received. I called this morning due to a leak at the base of our toilet. They were able to work us into the schedule for service the same day. Not only did they arrive very professionally, but listened to what had been going on without judgement and worked to resolve the problem. Rob was efficient and found a problem that had probably been going on for sometime without our knowledge. He was able to fix our issue quickly. The price was more than reasonable and this will be our only company to deal with in the future. Cant recommend them enough!

    Our water heater went out on Sunday and I called chet plumbing Monday, they were at our home Tuesday early taking care of our water heater. They are so good at what they do and very clean.     My furnace went out and I left a message after hours feeling quite stressed in a 54 degree house!! I requested a call in the morning to let me know if they would have someone available to come check it out. I received a call at 7:05 am and was able to schedule a window between 9 and 12 for someone to come which was fantastic! Even better, Mike called at 8:30 letting me know he could come earlier. Mike was professional and very good about letting me know everything he was doing and checking. With 30+ years of experience he was able to find the problem and fix it quickly. I was very impressed with the quick, excellent, friendly/professional and efficient service. I would highly recommend Mike and Chets plumbing and heating!!

    Two times this winter my furnace broke. ( each time - different issues). Chets work person came out quickly and did a great job both times. Today the outside faucet handle froze in the on position!!! I bc called and a fellow came out within the hour and replaced the faucet and was thoughtful enough to give me an easy to operate handle! The workmen are very polite and neat and tidy too!

    Well they did it again. We had a small hick up in the beginning but they came thru as always. The techs were here when they said they were going to be. Very professional, thought there was painters in the house with all the drop cloths.The installation went perfectly, everything I expected. The equipment is top of the line, as requested. Been using it for about a month now and very happy with the decision. Everyone should have a tankless!

    We woke up with no water or functioning well pump first thing on a Monday morning in our new house. Since were new to the area and dont know many businesses around here yet, I am not exaggerating when I say we called no less than ELEVEN other well & water service technicians. Either they said they were booked out for weeks or didnt answer/never called us back. We called Chets Plumbing hoping for some help...the woman who took my call was very nice and clearly explained how they bill for labor, time, & travel so I knew what to expect. They had someone at our house within the hour, and when you unexpectedly have no water, there are few things you appreciate more than quick response and reliability. Two gentlemen had our well pump & water running again within 30 minutes. Very professional and efficient, they didnt waste any time. Fair price for great service, we will absolutely be calling them FIRST for any projects or repairs in the future. Its a huge relief to know we have a plumber we can count on in our new service area. Highly recommend!

    Excellent overall service from all staff in office and on site! Recently had new septic system installed which required extensive re-routing of plumbing and installation of lift pump. Quality of work was excellent. They worked with us to get things set up the way we needed. All staff Very professional and yet personable. Explained what they were doing and answered questions when asked. Worked around our schedule. Weā€™re on time with fair and true estimates. Worked to correct issue we had with a couple pipes after job was completed.We also had Chets replace AC unit this past spring.     Chetā€™s is an awesome company to work with. Earlier his year Sean completed an inspection of the system for my home closing and was on time and very thorough - he found some items in the inspection that would have cost us out of pocket and a normal home inspector wouldnā€™t be able to catch/test. Jimmy recently repaired and set up my outdoor wood boiler. He was so easy to work with, on time and explained everything I needed to know to keep it running and in great shape. Highly recommend Chets for any wood boiler needs!

    No job is too big or too small for Chets. I needed a new sink faucet in a bathroom. I had actually purchased the faucet, and ask Chets to come and install it.. It was no problem. The very day that I called a technician came and installed the faucet very quickly. Jimmy did a great job with the work and the work area was spotless when he left. I have used Chets for all my plumbing needs and will continue to do so in the future.

    So, so happy! Our furnace died on Thursday night, with the help of Jimmy, we had Scott come out @ 8:40 the very next day..his estimate was emailed to us within 2 hours.     Naturally we discovered we suddenly had no hot water after 10PM on a Saturday in January! Called Chets after hours number on Sunday and Jerad arrived within the hour to assess our situation. Given the age of our water heater and news of a leaky gas valve, we opted to start over with a new water heater. Jerad left us with a quote and said theyd get the job done by Tuesday, at the latest. We were thrilled to see Jerad and Jimmy arrive Monday before 8AM! Our installation was labor intensive with the need to remove & reinstall a stairway railing along with our water heater being located in a tight spot. Jerad & Jimmy are super nice, knowledgeable & professional. They respectfully wore masks and worked efficiently. We highly recommend Chets! Also, we appreciate the assistance provided by Kara. She promptly answered questions and provided information we needed.

    Jimmy was personable and professional. He answered all of my dumb plumbing questions without smirking (which really was a feat!) and talked me through my options thoroughly. Kaydin did a beautiful job replacing the trim on my shower - his caulking is a work of art.     Chets has done a couple projects for me in the past year and a half. In 2017, they installed a furnace. That furnace has been great for me thus far and I havent had any issues. They also just installed a new water heater just recently. I had a positive experience overall both times. The service guys are friendly, approachable, and informative. They work hard and dont talk down at you. Im not good with names, but the sales technician I spoke with on the phone did a nice job outlining expected expenses and he gave me the worst case scenario as well. The bill ended up being much lower than that, so I was certainly pleased. They are not trying to get a quick buck from you, but dont want you to be alarmed with unexpected costs. The ONLY complaint I can think of was during the sales call for the water heater. It would have been nice to hear what the cost of a 50 gallon tank would have been compared to a 40 gallon tank, which was apparently assumed. I would have preferred a 50-gallon tank considering I have a family of 5. This certainly falls on me as well for forgetting to bring it up, but being asked for my preference would have been a win-win scenario for everyone.

    Once again two of Chets finest came out to tackle a smelly task in my basement. Not only did they arrive when expected but they also worked diligently to complete the task in a timely manner. And they did their very best to leave a clean space behind. On top of that, it was obvious that one of the two was an apprentice. I was so impressed with how the more experienced plumber worked with the apprentice to be sure that the apprentice was given an opportunity to solve the problem and make decisions about how the work would be done. They collaborated on the easy work and the challenges the task presented. This gentle, kind and yet professional approach will lead to a successful plumbing career for the young apprentice. And when the bill came I was pleasantly surprised that it was hundreds less than I anticipated.

    We needed help with old water heater not working right and change filter on water line. Called Chets on Friday, serviceman was there on Monday, changed filter and explained issue with water heater and gave us an estimate.     Late Saturday morning our water started to come out in only a trickle. So we called Chets and left a message. A plumber called us back within the hour and was at our home by noon. Note ā€“ this was a Saturday. We had to replace our well pump and water tank. He was able to do the work that day and we had water back in about 5 hours. The plumber was fantastic. Great to work with and happy to explain all that he was doing. In the past 24 years we have lived in our home, we have needed a plumber several times and have used Chetā€™s exclusively. From leaky faucets, replacing the water heater, to faucet and well pump replacement they have provided great service at a fair price. I highly recommend Chetā€™s!

We recently had family visiting and staying at our house when we discovered a leak coming from a pipe inside the wall.     My old H2O heater was not venting properly and set off the CO2 detectors. SPFD said I should contact a plumber and my first thought was Chets! Since I know nothing about any H2O heaters, I knew they would help me.The most friendly technician Mike arrived, saw, evaluated, and delivered the bad news that I needed a new water heater- that an electric one would work the best for this case. In 2 days Jimmy and Jerrod pulled up in their truck and, with singing to me all the time, had my old heater out and the new heater in. What an expert team, and how well they worked with each other, it was like watching a dance! A delight to have the job completed in record time and within my budget!     We had a new Rheem furnace installed recently by Chets. It was installed promptly. It passed all inspection by Stevens Point City inspection Dept. with no issues. The preliminary cost estimate was spot on. The office personnel (Marilyn and Scott) were respectful, listened to my problem, and solved my heating problem faster than I imagined. The technicians that did the installation were great to work with, answered all my questions and did a nice job cleaning up afterward.     I have had great outcomes with Chets Plumbing over the past few years. From bathroom projects with there Kohler faucets and tolet to installing heat in my garage and just this winter repairing my 24 year furnace that quit running on one of the coldest days this winter.     Chets tech was here yesterday because my furnace went out late Friday night & Called Chets at 3:45 am & 58* in my house.The Tech I spoke with stated $300 per hour for weekends & said use space heaters which I did & warmed the house real nice by Sunday.It was actually went out out Friday, but came back on in a few hours & called Chets to cancel, but went out again later in the day, but didnt know until about 3:30 am at 58*.2 switches were bad & Mike was only here 15 minutes or so & did some maintenance, too which was a real money saver.Something else could go out this winter or next & another service call.Definitely 10 stars on a 5 star scale.

    Jimmy and Dan recently came out for several different issues we were having with both plumbing and heating in our home. Over the course of the morning (and into the afternoon), all I could think of was a great big ticking clock. 2 plumbers, working on several different issues, I was worried about the cost. But having both Jimmy and Dan work together when needed and independently when possible was actually the most efficient way to tackle all the projects on the list.All the issues were resolved and the quality of work was phenomenal.     Woke up to No Water running in the house. What a nightmare. I called Chets and within about 1.5 hours there was a Plumber at my house. Jimmy was great. I felt a little bad, he had to climb under my house, through the crawlspace but he figured out the issue in no time. He replaced the pressure switch with one from his truck. Jimmy was nice, professional, wore his PPE mask and figured out what was wrong really fast. I was honestly quite impressed. 10/10... will call again. I mean, I hope I dont need another plumber, but likely as not, I will at some point.

    We had an issue with our furnace, causing CO to build up inside our home during one of the coldest days of the year. After having the Fire Dept and WPS determine that the furnace was the issue, we called Chetā€™s.A tech came over immediately and assessed our situation and we had a brand new furnace installed and running by mid afternoon the same day. From the phone call to the professional and clean install these guys saved the day for us!
