    Everything about our experience with Sunburst Construction was out of this world. Our sales rep and designer Jon Cowden was very patient with us and listened to what we wanted and what our future plans were. The final design not only fit into what we wanted now, but also prepared us for future add-ons when we are ready. Our project manager Mason Small was very thorough and explained everything about the demolition and build. When a snag with a stray underground pipe arose, he was able to work with the team and pivot without any delay. The crew were amazing and worked hard and quickly and finished the demo and new deck build within a week. The final product is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be using Sunburst for our future projects!!

    Sunburst helped us build a beautiful deck. Bozidar “B”, Mike, and the experienced crew are great to work with - they are diligent, reliable, profession, and very pleasant. They followed through from the beginning to the end and made sure every item on the punch list was properly addressed. They are also very good at communication - for example, B helped us understand and identify our needs and preferences and tailored a plan that meet those needs and preferences. We are very happy with the end product. I will post more pics. I will certainly recommend them and go to them for future projects ourselves.

    We used Sunburst Construction twice now and were more than pleased with the end result both times. We had them complete a 2 phase, 2 level deck for us. The upper level deck with pergola was done in 2019 and the lower level deck with built in spa was installed in 2020. It is just a great outdoor living space for us and we could not be more happy. The construction is solid and all the lines are straight. Workers could not have been better to work with and other than a few minor struggles with language communication, they completed exactly what I was asking for - as it was a custom deck that I wanted built exactly as I had envisioned in my mind. They exceeded my expectations.

    Hello, I would just like to give my personal thanks to the excellent professionalism & respect that was given to me from day one by Sunburst Construction Sales Representative (Mr Bozidar Janjic) and Project Manager (Josh Ade). Both attending to what exactly I wanted in design & detail. Not telling me what they think is right for me. Any concern I had throughout this process, they attended to it immediately with curtesy. They have an A+ rating with the BBB and I certainly can testify why. Kudos to Sunburst Construction.PSI cant wait until I have enough saved up for my future patio for you guys!

    I am so happy that I chose Sunburst Construction, Inc. to replace my old concrete patio. After meeting with Jon, the sales and design representative, I was sold on the company and no longer anxious about being a novice regarding patio construction and materials. Jon was very helpful and remained responsive to my questions throughout the entire project, and I benefited tremendously from his design expertise.Mason oversaw the construction and was available to explain the process and answer questions. The cleanup was excellent, the workmanship was excellent, and the result is a beautiful paver patio.     We contracted with Sunburst for a large three season room based upon a great recommendation from close friends who used them in our neighborhood. We were very happy with Sunburst from start to finish. Bozidar (“B”) Janjic, our sales representative, was responsive and professional. He came to our house to discuss the project, listened to our requirements, offer recommendations, and show us examples of their work that matched our decisions. Our requirements included a sun-room with a floor suitable for ballroom dancing and windows to protect us from wind and insects. They provided complete support from the design, county permits, home owners review package, and meeting their onsite supervisor, Mason, and their electrician before the project started. Like B, Mason and the electrician listened to our concerns and offered building recommendations that met and often exceeded our expectations. The crew was absolutely amazing delivering a fantastic final result and stayed on site until the entire main part of the project was completed – the special sized windows took an extra month to order; but the same crew came back and meticulously installed them too. Problems along the way were dealt with immediately and to our satisfaction. And they didn’t finish the job until we were completely satisfied and the final county inspections were completed and approved. We will continue to use Sunburst for our future projects and have highly recommended them to our neighbors and friends. We have offered Sunburst to use our sun-room to show other customers or call us as a reference. Overall we are extremely satisfied with their work and how our very large project turned out. In fact we are working with B again already to rebuild our front porch, walkway and gutters.

    We had decided to convert our deck into a screen porch, so we investigated multiple contractors before selecting Sunburst. We are very pleased with out selection. They were efficient and produced excellent results. There were a couple of issues encountered during the project, but Sunburst was responsive, maintained good communications and the issues were quickly resolved. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the results and will definitely consider them for future deck construction projects.

    SunBurst has been a great partner in designing, building and maintaining our backyard oasis. We began our project that included a new deck, screened in porch, pool, pavilion and mudroom during the pandamic. There were challenges presented during those challenging times but they always resolved any and all issues. Just as important if not more important, three years later when we do have an issue whether under warranty or not, they are quick to respond and recommend solutions.     We used Sunburst to replace our old, rotting deck and turn our unusable, very sloped area beneath it into a tri-level Trex deck and paver patio with a large fireplace. B and the designers were able to take our vision, make it better than we could have imagined, and bring it to life. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but the quality is impeccable.     We decided to hire Sunburst to build us a screened-porch and side deck combo to replace our aging deck. B was our sales rep and he was excellent. He was friendly, very responsive (most important trait in a contractor imo), answered all of our questions patiently, and got things done quickly from start to finish. It was a pleasure working with him. The Sunburst labor crew was also great. They did their job quickly with no fuss. There were issues along the way with factory-recalled parts causing delays and minor workmanship do-overs. However, everything we brought up to B and Mason (our project manager) was addressed in a professional manner. One word of caution is make sure to tell them to properly cover the ground underneath (with gravel/etc) before they begin construction, as we are noticing some flower beds come back to life! But overall, we love how it turned out and feel like we made a good choice with Sunburst.

    We quoted a number of local companies for our patio project. Sunburst came back with a design that met our needs and exceeded our expectations. In spite of our limited budget, Sunburst provided a quote that was right in our wheelhouse. We were expecting just a patio, but we got some additional features (sitting wall & path) and still managed to fit in our budget.The team at Sunburst was communicative and prompt. They even managed to start the project ahead of schedule which was a pleasant surprise considering the supply chain issues across the country.I would highly recommend Sunburst for landscaping needs. The project was completed in a timely manner, but felt unrushed and the quality of the work is fantastic. Looking forward to warmer weather so we can enjoy our new outdoor space!

    Great Company! We hired Sunburst to build a patio and make some minor adjustments to our existing deck. The patio came out awesome, and was done really quickly. They came out to do the work on the deck and ended up finding a lot of other things that needed to be done, issues that were unsafe and needed addressed. They gave me a really fair quote for this work and immediately got to work on everything. We were really impressed with everything they found and were willing to do to get our deck so we could feel safe when the family was out on it. Highly recommend this company!

    Replacing my decks started with me evaluating several builders. Sunburst topped them all for quality and attention to detail. Mike Lowndes was knowledgeable, flexible, responsive to my needs, and came up with a superior design. John Blakemore as overall construction supervisor was also sensitive to our tight timeframe and design needs, and worked with me throughout the project in a responsive and thoughtful manner. Orlando, the on-site crew leader, was superb in his attention to detail, craftsmanship, work ethic, suggestions, and execution of the plans. Under adverse access conditions and very limited space, he and the rest of the crew left our garden plantings intact despite dealing with large amounts of decking material...Bravo to them! The result was three decks of superior quality, workmanship, and utility that drew rave reviews from my guests at the first event on them. The job was so well done that there were no items to put on a punch list! It was simply done right the first time. I cannot recommend Sunburst enough.

    We replaced a 22 year old wood deck with a big beautiful large Trex deck that Sunburst designed and built. Working with our sales rep, B. Janjic, was a breeze from the first meeting to the very end of the project. He is very responsive and extremely customer oriented.     As with many people, COVID caused us to be home more often than usual in the spring and summer of 2020. This caused us to realize that our wooden deck (original 1994) was ready to be replaced. After several consultations for a Trex deck, we decided to go with Sunburst. Our experience has been excellent from start to finish and we are happy to recommend Sunburst to anyone who is considering improving their outdoor spaces.Throughout the project, we had quick and easy communication through the sales rep, Bozidar “B” Janjic, and the project manager, Mason. All calls and emails were returned quickly with the requested information. Initially, we were uncertain about what we wanted for a few of the elements and colors of our new deck. B assisted us with design and considering the look of our neighbors’ recently renovated decks. We were pleased with the rapid turn around on delivering design proofs.When the project started, Sunburst’s workers were efficient, tidy, and kept regular hours. As the deck came together, we realized that we wanted something that hadn’t been in the design. Although we were concerned about how this might delay the project, we wanted our new deck to be exactly the way we’d envisioned it. We worked with B to alter the design, and though it obviously delayed the project a short while, we are very pleased with Sunburst’s eagerness to execute our changes. It was clear that Sunburst cared that we would be pleased with our final project.The project closed within our budget, given a very reasonable allowance for our last-minute change to the design.     I would like to revise my initial review of Sunburst construction. After having some customer service issues and not being at all satisfied in our dealings with them I can say that I do not feel this is the norm for this company or how they try and conduct business. While I do still feel Mr. Janjic could definitely use some work on his customer service skills the owners and managers made every effort to resolve our issues and see that we changed our opinion of their company and how they operated. I was contacted several times by them in which we had very positive conversations and have no doubt if we decide to build our deck with them they will go through every effort to make sure we are a hundred percent satisfied at the completion of our project.

    We cannot say enough about this company! They were 5 star from the start all the way through the finish. We worked with Brandon Doran. He was incredibly responsive but most importantly always followed through as well as anticipating what needed to be done while keeping us informed. The team that created this beautiful patio and fire pit kept the premises neat at all times and protected the yard and property. The quality of the patio and fire pit as well as the craftsmanship of the stone work is gorgeous. Our neighbors have been coming by to ask who did this patio.     I was looking for a company to build a deck on my home in Herndon VA, so I placed an inquiry and B from sunburst contacted me to come by an provid a quote which he did. I was not quite ready and so pricing became a factor and I decided to put it off. B stayed in contact with me and was always saying hello but never pushed me to make a move on the project. B was so professional and courteous I had to do business with him... the deck was completed and we love it. I am please and happy to recommend him to anyone who wants a project done...     Hired Sunburst to build new patio and outdoor fireplace. First of all the project was started and completed within the time frame originally stated by Sunburst. Secondly, the workmen were extremely professional and paid expert attention to detail.     We had a total custom deck built. I cannot express enough my sincere recommendation for Sunburst Construction. Making the decision to design and build a deck can be daunting. Every one of their team members, from the initial design consultant, to the site manager, build team, and office staff have been a true pleasure to work with. I ended up with something so much better than I even imagined!The entire team is thoughtful, respectful, and will treat you as if you are their only client and concern.     We used Sunburst to renovate our existing 25 + year old deck using Trex materials. From the first contact with the sales rep until the project was completed our experience was positive. Everyone we dealt with at Sunburst was very professional. The salesman and project manager both kept in touch and visited during construction and the carpenters worked quickly, efficiently and kept any mess to a minimum. We really appreciated that! There were a couple very minor issues with details but they were resolved immediately.Our deck looks beautiful! We highly recommend Sunburst Construction.
