We are very happy with our addition (an owners suite over an existing 1 car garage), 2 remodeled bathrooms, and other minor things that fit into the job (siding, stair railing, garage door).The overall project took about 1 year with actual construction taking 5 months. We took our time during the initial consultation and architecture stages. Then before and during construction, we met with our project manager and designer regularly. There can be a lot of decisions to make and these two helped spread them out and presented a limited but relevant set of options. There are many different crews involved in this, and really amazing work around framing, drywall, painting, flooring, trim and finishing, electrical, roofing, and tile. The bathroom sinks/counters and walk-in closet systems are amazing. Plumbing and siding were good. HVAC for the new space took some extra effort but eventually got to a good place. Denny and Gardner were recommended to us by a neighbor who had used them in the past. I have recommended them to 2 neighbors so far, I will continue to do so, and I would use them again if we had another project that fit their typical scope.

We worked with Denny and Gardner to renovate our three full baths. I have only positive things to share! Kait, the designer, was a dream to work with! She instantly understood the look we were going for and chose incredible options. Bob, the project manager, is top notch! He was in constant communication, arrived at the same time everyday, and has a desire for perfection. We were able to stay in the house during the renovation because of how well they sealed off the rooms they were working in and commitment to keeping everything clean. Renovations can be stressful, but Denny and Gardner made it a breeze. We hope to work with them on future projects. Highest recommendation!

I cant say enough great things about the team at Denny and Gardner. From the ownership, to the Project Managers, to the Designer (Kait), everyone is top notch, super knowledgeable, and friendly. This is the second time that I have used D&G, and always a success/happy customer! Keith, our PM, was very communicative which I so appreciated. Our kitchen remodel is beautiful and was completed on-time and on-budget!

Denny+Gardner came to us by recommendation, and they did not disappoint. Norm Gardner helped us to design and build a 4-seasons sunroom addition, and to carry out a whole-house renovation. The project went very smoothly under the leadership of project manager Jason Newton. The whole team of in-house staff and subcontractors executed the project with great expertise and excellent attention to detail. They were respectful of our property, very tidy, and responsive to our requests.D+G is by far the BEST contractor team we have ever hired (and we have had experience with several contractors for major renovation projects with past residences.) We like their combination of big city know how, and small town trustworthiness and integrity. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Deny+Gardner. We would highly recommend them without any hesitation and would definitely use them again in the future. They are (probably) not the cheapest but we don’t mind paying for a good product—it’s a good value in the long run. (What we don’t like is to pay a lot and still get a poor quality job, which can easily happen in this business.)

We had a great experience working with Denny and Gardner. Theentire team (owners, interior designer and project manager) showed a lot of interest and enthusiasm for our project which was an addition of 600 sq. ft. to the back of our circa 1960s home. They truly are passionate about what they do and take a lot of pride in their work. Norm and Jason are the nicest guys. We had Marcin as our Project Manager, and he is truly amazing! He is extremely detail-oriented and meticulous and showed great care with our home. We had to move out for several months during the project, but we would check in regularly and would find that great care had been taken to tidy up at the end of a workday and if we happened to do a drop-in visit while the team was hard at work, they always took the time to chat with us and discuss the progress of the project. Additionally, Marcin and Jason Denny would check in with us regularly via text or phone and would share pictures with us of the progress throughout the project. They often had great advice and ideas to offer which we truly appreciated. We absolutely love the way our home turned out and we will most likely use Denny and Gardner again for future projects we have planned.

Our project manager Marcin was a godsend and kept us sane (plus his work was meticulous.). We are super happy with the overall result and are very glad we decided to go with them.

This past winter we completed a kitchen reconfiguration/remodel + other things on our main floor with Denny & Gardner.It was a big project and we were under a tight timeline in which to get it done and from the start Denny & Gardner were great to work with.Before construction even started they were really supportive in making sure we had a solid design, helped in getting all the finishes picked out, and that we had a firm grasp on what to expect once construction occurred.Throughout the actual construction we were in constant communication with the D&G team and able to make adjustments as needed. The construction site was kept clean every day. D&G finished the project on time and we were super happy with the final result.

They have beautified our home with a new deck, a complete new (beautiful and functional) kitchen, and a magnificent sunroom, which is now the center of our home.We can always count on D&G to take the time to add beautiful custom touches and to make sure they vendor they refer us to are dependable and offer the solutions we need.Planning, design, custom work, communication and responsiveness--all excellent!

Mark believed in our project from the beginning. Mark understood our vision for the house and offered thoughtful suggestions along the way that were within reach. Mark was kind and patient throughout our build, he cared about our project, and he was always available when we needed to reach him. Mark led his team into building a home for us that feels warm and welcoming, far apart from competing contractors who just build houses. The team that built our home was outstanding. William, Mike, Johann, Kay, Ulysses, Francisco, Angel, Orlando and the rest of the crew are all good people who take pride in their work and make sure the work is done right. These guys work well together, they are extremely professional, they care about their work, they work hard, and they are very good at their job. Each of them paid attention to every detail and we felt that they worked on our house with the same care as if it was their own house. They took the time to get to know us and made us feel like we were the only job they had even though they had multiple projects at the same time. Susan in the office was friendly and efficient and she went above and beyond to make sure the administrative process went smoothly for us. The end result for us was a beautiful, comfortable and functional home with a great build experience. We feel so lucky to have worked with Denny and Gardner on our project and very highly recommend them without hesitation!

When it was time to renovate my kitchen, I hired Denny & Gardner to do the work. They are master craftsmen and pay attention to every detail, which I knew and have seen personally when they have performed miracles for my interior design clients. We designed the kitchen together at their studio in Sterling with a wonderful cabinetry line that they recommended. Before they even got to work, we discussed the schedule and timeline so we were all on the same page. This was a relief for me and my husband to know, so we could plan things around it because we are big on entertaining. Once they started work, they were meticulous in their details and their timeliness, and on top of it, cleaned up every day! It was so clean you could eat off the floor! They pride themselves on their perfection and it shows in their finished product. All of my guest remark on the looks and function of my gourmet kitchen, which speaks well of me as a designer. So thank you, Denny & Gardner. I would use them again in any renovation project! For myself or for my clients.

Denny + Gardner were introduced to us by an acquaintance while we were in the middle of interviewing several other firms – we hired them on the spot. They completed two projects for us: (1) refacing our family room fireplace; and, (2) a complete redo of our entire kitchen. Jason & Norm are very experienced and professional and quite easy to work with; Lisa was introduced to us when she came onboard as the designer and showed a good eye for color and detail; and, Donny was always most-accommodating as project manager and did a great job keeping everyone focused. Everyone involved throughout the project were friendly and well skilled in their craft. Workmanship by all of sub’s was superb, with each one as neat and cooperative as possible. In projects like this, there are always a few surprises and ours was no exception but they were minimal and easily overcome by the team’s creativity. All-in-all, an outstanding company to rely on.

We got a bid from Denny and Gardner, but made the mistake of going with a competitor who made promises they didn’t live up to. We’ve had several friends who have used D&G since then, and all have had a great experience. Pick wisely - nothing worse than having a contractor who doesn’t deliver.

Overall, working with D+G was the best experience I ever had doing home renovation. We had a major renovation that touched nearly every part of our townhouse. Given how difficult everything was due to COVID and related shortages, compromises, and delays, the project went remarkably smoothly and we missed the hoped-for end date by only a few weeks. The end result was better than how I imagined it and the whole process was handled with professionalism, flexibility, and care for my opinions and my house. Even better, when a few problems arose after we moved back in, D+G came back promptly to fix them. My highest recommendation.
