I highly recommend Kelly Electric! We hired them to install four ceiling fans with lights in our home. After speaking on the phone, they came out to do an estimate and advised us what size fan would be good for each room. I appreciate the patience and kindness the team showed us by explaining how the installation works and what kind of fan was best for each room. (I asked a lot of questions!) I called several other companies and found they were the most professional and fairly priced. We purchased the fans we wanted and the installation was on time. It’s been about five months since we hired Kelly Electric and everything is working great! They also have a military discount.

We needed a new outlet and a diagnosis for other receptacles that were not working. Kelley Services came out within 24 hours and had everything fixed in 1 hour. He had to trace the problem to one receptacle that had shorted out and caused the other receptacles down the line to go out. The service and price were excellent and we would reccomd this service to everyone in the stafford area!

Greg Kelly and his team have done extensive work at our house, including identifying and repairing unsafe work done by a previous company. Work he has done includes installing: recessed lighting throughout our basement, kitchen, living room and bedrooms, four ceiling fans, dimmer switches and new outlets throughout, heated towel racks and heater/fan combinations in two bathrooms which required running new wiring through the attic and updating outside light fixtures. He has also responded to a weekend emergency. We trust his advice completely. His prices are competitive. We recommend him without reservation.

Kelly Electric Services is the epitome of excellence when it comes to electrical work! The owner, Greg, is truly an amazing electrician, who takes pride in his work. He was punctual, professional, and personable. He installed 10 new recessed lights and replaced 9 others with a LED housed light that comes as one unit (great warranty for these btw). He is reasonable with pricing and will even work with you to try and bring the cost down for you! 100% would recommend to anyone in the Northern Virginia area for both residential and commercial.I will definitely be using Greg in the future should I have any electrical needs for our house!

I will say Greg Kelly is who I will call first for any electrical issues in the future. After scheduling appointment with ACE electric they failed to show up or return my call. I called Mr. Kelly and explained my dilemma to him and he got me in the schedule during that phone call. Mr. Kelly confirmed our appointment the night before and showed up on time and went straight to work. I even requested Mr. Kelly look at some additional concerns I had that I did not previously request as apart of the service. Mr. Kelly did not hesitate to say no problem and looked at all concerns I had. He charged a very reasonable price and explained everything to me as he completed it. Mr. Kelly even found an unknown issue that could have become a really big issue when inspecting my panel box. I would highly recommend Mr. Kelly if you need an electrician!

I called Greg this morning based upon a strong recommendation from a friend. He had time and showed up this afternoon. I had a strange issue with a faulty dimmer switch. He quickly diagnosed the culprit and fixed it, saving me from tearing out drywall. He clearly explained the issue and imparted valuable lessons that make me more confident about fixing future problems. He is a very courteous and friendly guy. He only charged me a nominal, very reasonable and appropriate fee for what turned out to be a relatively simple fix. I will definitely use him again next time and recommend him to friends. So Ive had Kelly Electric do several job for me but I have to say the one that stood out I didnt use for 6 years. I had a transfer switch and a plug hooked up for a generator. With this last big storm we had I had no power for 56 hours. I pulled out the generator flipped the switches and everything worked perfect! We had a pellet stove going for heat and well and septic. I had neighbors coming over for water. It may seem like an expense that you may never need but boy was I glad I had it done. Call Kelly Electric you wont be disappointed.

As we are confident that their estimate on the assessment of our needed services is exactly what we need to fix our needed repairs or maintenance.This past week we had our smoke detectors going off due to age of the product. We purchased new ones and called in on a Friday afternoon. Greg had us scheduled and at our home within the hour. He removed the old units. Then hardwired and did the battery backup on the five new units. Synced them together so that on all three levels of our home they would work as specified to warn us of any smoke/fire. Then mounted them in place and disposed of the old units.Fire safety is very important in our household as we have wheelchair mobility to consider in getting out of our home safely. So getting the new units installed and working correctly was important to us. Kelly Services made sure we were quickly scheduled for our peace of mind. Its service like this that keeps us coming back to them for all of our electrical needs. We have used them previously in another home and have always been assured that their work solved our electrical needs. I recently converted an old shed on my property to a chicken coop and contacted Kelly Electric to run power to it. I had a vague idea of what I wanted but when Greg came by he offered some suggestions/alternatives that ended up saving me money and being better overall. He was up front about his backlog and that it would be about a month before he could get to it which wasnt an issue. Once the date was set he showed up on time and did a great job.He was also very understanding when my mother ran over some of his materials when she stopped by for a visit (she backed into the yard while leaving).
