Excellent electrician. We had a problem with only half the house having power. Simon Dodd responded in a very timely manner and came out to our house. He troubleshooted several different things and found our problem. His rate was honest and reasonable. Very professional and friendly. We would definitely call him if anything else happened and can wholeheartedly recommend him to others.

Short story:I would not hire anyone else to do my electrical work.The long story: We needed a service box replace, incoming lines and electrical engineering as well. Simon came out the same day to give a quote.He was not the lowest or highest but we chose him because of his honesty and he didnt try to be fake or do the whole sales this is pretty bad thing. Turns out it was the best decision we could make. The man came out and by the time he was done on day one he looked like someone dunked him in a pool and didnt wring him out. He did as he said and came back out and finished up the job. He came in under his quote, and the only extra time was waiting for permit inspections. Passed first time with no issues. If you need electrical work done Simon Dodd is the guy. I cant tell people what to do, but I can say what I would do: Simon will be my first and only call.

I called Dodd Electric this morning for the first time and needed help with outside outlets not working. He had me check over some things that may be the issue and if it didnt work hed come by. He was super helpful, it worked! He did not need to come by. Thank you so much!!!

We have used Dodd Electric for a few different items. Simon was very knowledgeable, efficient and reasonably priced. He also cleaned up after he finished. We will use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

The builder told dodd electric that the customer in affluent hyde park area of Tampa said we were the best electricians the builder had sent him in the 7 years the builder has been remodeling for the customer. We wired an outdoor kitchen. Simon Dodd would like to add that since being in business since 2002 Dodd electric has never had a call back for faulty work. We pride ourselves in doing a great job. It is the standard of all the electricians at Dodd electric.

I have know the owner for very long time, both personally and professionally. He does great work and is also incredibly honest and trustworthy. He has done many small and large project on the house we built and remodeled and his work has always been top-notch and ensures everything is done safely and to code. He has always provided accurate estimates and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of electrical services.

We had a lightning strike which knocked a tree limb on our service drop and it pulled the electric meter off the post.. Mr Dodd came out the next morning when we called and got us back in service. He has also done outside electrical work for us… Very professional and excellent quality work
