I called the office on Monday and made an appointment for Friday at 4 for the electrician to help with our ceiling fan. The office texted and said he had finished early and could he come now. I said of course. River Brooks was very professional and was able to immediately address our issue and fixed it in the spot. I couldn’t have asked for more. He went above and beyond in helping us and we will not hesitate to call him again should the need arise.

When I called River Electric to come and give me an estimate for some electrical work, I received a text requesting more information. In a couple of days I received a text asking if they could come out the next day. It was during Christmas and New Year and I was told it would be January before they could get to it. However, he actually got it done in December. He arrived on time both for the estimate and to do the work. He was polite, professional, and didnt try to get me to replace things that werent needed. He did the job fast and the price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely contact him again for any additional work I need done.

I loved my experience with River Brooks electric. I called them to install a dusk til dawn light for me. They came out within a day to give me a quote then installed it within a week. The electrician River was very kind, helpful & professional as was his wife who took care of the scheduling of the initial quote & installation. If youre anything like me who isnt good with electricity, then call River Brooks cause they are a life saver & they take care of their customers regardless whether the job is big or small. Will definitely be using them again if I need an electrician in the future cause River the electrician was absolutely awesome.

We had moved into our home and discovered multiple things that the seller did not disclose. Some of which were electrical problems. We read about River in the paper. Since he was a young man with impressive credentials and starting his own business, we decided to help him out. We are very happy we did! He was prompt, knowledgeable and educated us about our problems and how to prevent them in the future. He solved our obvious problems and made sure he inspected the rest of the house for any other issues e.g. 2 live electrical wires hanging in the crawl space! He is very personable and answered all of our questions. River never stopped working even though we were having conversations. Very conscious of the time to keep his hourly charges at a reasonable limit. By far the best electrician around! We will definitely call him again.You go River!!

We recently bought an older vacation house in Roaring Gap and we needed to have a dozen or so electrical-related repairs/improvements. River came over to the house and he documented on his phone all of the items that needed to be done. He also provided advice as to the best way to resolve these issues. His quote for this work was very reasonable and fair. When he completed the work he sent me a collage of the photos for each of the repairs. When I returned to the house, everything was done exactly as he promised. I highly recommend River. He is smart, detailed, thorough, trust-worthy and technology savvy.

This is a shout out to River Brooks Electric.I have a 35-year-old vacation rental in Glade Valley that was inherited. Unfortunately, it came with some issues. I have had concerns with some electrical issues but was reluctant to hire an electrician basically because of costs and trustworthiness. I saw River Brooks postings on Facebook and have followed his work for a while. I needed some old fluorescent lights with ballasts replaced in my garage and decided to go with River Brooks Electric. It was the best choice I could make. He didn’t try to upsell me or talk me in to something I didn’t need or want. I now have bright lights in my garage with no HUMMM coming from the lights.Then I had what I thought was a light dimmer switch going bad in my kitchen so I hired River to replace that dimmer because the kitchen lights kept flickering. Before River could make it out I had all my bathrooms go completely dark. So, I knew I had a bigger issue than a dimmer switch.Since the house is a vacation rental I couldn’t have my guests checking in to a house that didn’t have lights in the bathrooms. So I needed River now more than ever. River changed his schedule and conducted an emergency service call to correct my issues at what I thought was a VERY, VERY reasonable price. I couldn’t thank him enough, so I had to write reviews for his business to help this young man continue to be successful.So if you need any electrical work done I recommend River Brooks Electric. He is honest, fair, on time and will take care of you.Thank you River!

We are building a bardominium and asked River to potentially install the incoming service. He was quick to respond and provide solid advice and coaching around ways to reduce cost and pros/cons on a 200A vs 400A service. (Even if those options meant a lower cost for him). As an Electrical Engineer, I decided to install my own temp service panel, but was impressed with River’s knowledge and willingness to help. I will keep River Brook Electric in mind for my future needs.
