    Joe and Ryan just installed our new front window and they were fantastic! We had an awning removed and a huge window replaced and we couldn’t be happier. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and they were professional and a pleasure to have doing the job! I’m sure it wasn’t an easy job but they made sure everything was perfect and that we were happy with the work before they left. I can’t say enough good things about Adkins and Sons or about this installation duo!After getting several quotes from several companies, we are happy that we chose Adkins and Sons.Would recommend them over and over again!I’ve included a little before and after photo.What a difference!     Working with sales rep Gary Jablonski on picking out our doors and hardware was an easy process. Did not feel pressured and he was very knowledgeable of the products and listened closely to what we were looking for in this purchase. Scheduled for final measurements and the tech was there as promised and was very professional.Set a date and time for installation and received a call 30 minutes before they arrived. Derek and Pat set up and started removing the patio door, storm door and interior door. They didnt stop until the job was finished that day. Hauled away all the debris, cleaned the area and put finishing touches on the doors.They were very respectable, polite and their work top notch. I dont think I could have gotten a better job from anyone else. They worked through any problem they encountered and were determined to not shortcut anything. You could tell they had pride in the work they do and know that what they do reflects on Adkins and Sons. My hat goes off to these two gentlemen.Thank you for making this an enjoyable experience.

    Very happy customer, had new front and back doors installed. Top quality installation and product. Also had new siding put on around windows and replaced the little bit of siding in front of our brick home .     My Mother ordered and had installed a new entry way door and screen door this past spring. Everyone in the office is very nice and helpful with the process. The doors came in ahead of schedule and they called promptly to set a day for installing the doors. Pat came out to do the work and he was very nice and professional. We have also had windows installed by Adkins and Sons and couldn’t have been happier with our experience at that time too. We will definitely visit again with future projects. Thank You.

    I have used Adkins & Sons several times through the years. We have replaced all our windows and front entry door w/ sidelites. We did the process every few years over time since we had replaced 20 windows.We obviously have been extremely happy with our installation and service from Adkins & Sons to give them repeat business.The owner Kyle and his son have been to our home multiple times to help us put together our window selection.The staff is great, easy to work with. From the team manager Pat, office coordinator Ashley and John and Derek. They are friendly, prompt, return any calls or questions promptly.Trust that they will do a great job!

    We recently contracted with Adkins & Sons to replace our vinyl windows with Pella Lifestyle, honey Oak windows (9 windows plus a picture window). Paul was not pushy, (bonus), and was very helpful on options and concerns. Installation time was pretty much what we were expecting. The crew arrived on time, and completed the install in one day. There was an issue with a damaged screen which came from the plant, which has been reordered along with a sill that needs to be replaced. We also noticed a couple of things which we didnt notice at the install time. I called the next day and within 2 hours, they returned to correct things. (which was a pleasant surprise). There was a very small amount of touch up that we will need to do, but I expected that due to the previous window install (different company). Overall we were very pleased with the professionalism, courtesy, cleanup and hardwork of the crew. I would definitely recommend them. It was definite upgrade in both product and experience.

    I was referred to this company by someone else. Even though the price was higher than I was originally expecting to pay, I was impressed with the styles and quality of the doors. I watched as the installers did their job and saw the professionalism of each installer. When the job was done, the result was above my expectations.     My first experience with Adkins was 3 years ago. I had 4 windows installed. I was very impressed with Paul, who came out to discuss the different types of windows, explained everything their is to know about their windows. I wanted specific type of molding around inside that wasnt typical. They made it happen. They cut and made it on site. They painted the molding and sealed it for me. The installers was very professional. When they left, you would never know I had any work done. Inside or out. Windows are beautiful and have had no problem with them. This year, 2024, I had 5 more installed. Another plus is that the warranty transfers to new owner if I ever sell home. I would buy windows from them again.

    Excellent service- from Kyle, who consulted on my garage project needs, to Derek, who installed the new side door and window! Everyone was so kind.     Had all of our upstairs windows replaced. This is the 2nd time weve gone with Adkins & Sons because they did such a wonderful job on our first floor. Very easy process from start to finish and their prices were very fair for Pella wood windows. The crew finished in one day and cleaned up everything really well.     We bought a very nice set of ProVia.front entry doors with sidelights to replace our older front doors. After getting several random quotes from others without a lot of info to help us grasp the reasons for significant cost differences, Kyle Adkins patiently walked us through the technical and aesthetic features of this product in clear detail, making our decisions easy. Pat and Josh, the very experienced installers from the company, made the replacement look easy and they were prompt, efficient, and left our job site cleaner than when they arrived.There were lower cost choices offered in the market but the quality of this product stood out. Our new front doors feel solid and look beautiful. We are surprised at how quiet our foyer has become after the installation.We heartily recommend Adkins and Sons for a door purchase.

    Ive used them several times 20 years apart. I liked the work they did on my Pella door wall in the 90s so I had them recently install a bay windows and storm doors. I noticed a defect from the manufacturer a couple years later and Adkins and sons called Provia and Provia stood behind their work and Ashley took care of everything. Now thats customer service 👌

    We’ve been going to Adkins & Sons for 6 years now and I wouldn’t consider anyone else. The staff care about your needs and make sure they don’t steer you wrong. They go the extra mile to make sure everything is exactly how you want it and their workmanship is top-notch. I’m very picky and see many details others don’t. This team takes care of everything!! They’re respectful of your property, courteous and respectful in all interactions and clean up at the end of each day. If there are ever any problems, they stand behind their products and installs. So far we’ve replaced 6 windows, a door, covers for crawl space and a doggy door. I recommend them to everyone. They know the meaning of customer service!

    Adkins & Sons delivered on their promise of energy efficient windows for our living room! We are very pleased.Right from the beginning, Adkins & Sons were very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful in answering all our questions about the purchase and installation of our windows. We’ve had other sales people at our house who wanted just the sale and nothing else! Adkins has a showroom, too, where you can see the windows to better understand the variety of windows available, too.After ordering the windows, the windows were delivered quickly.Also, new windows don’t have to be installed in the Spring. Their carpenters who installed the windows were very professional and doing it in the wintertime, kept the cold air to a minimum. The caulking sets in all temperatures. Plus, the windows were insulated around the window frame to keep us warm.Yes, I give them a 5-Star Review!Previously, Adkins & Sons, did a great job helping us with our doors, too.

    We needed them to repair the framing at the bottom of an existing doorwall opening as it was all rotted out. We use this doorway heavily, so they helped us pick out a durable French door that matched the interior and exterior. Communication was great! The carpenters that came in to repair the framing and install the door were fabulous!! Explained areas of concern, were kind to our pets and kids, very professional. We were surprised it was repaired as quickly as it was. We LOVE our door! We used Adkins twice now and will continue to do so in the future! They really are worth every penny!

    I would HIGHLY recommend Adkins & sons for your next window installation project!!! Everyone I dealt with was punctual, professional, friendly and courteous! First, Paul came in looked at our windows and explained what we needed to do and why. He then went over options with us, so we could get exactly what we wanted. I spoke with the receptionist several times [I believe her name was Ashley], and she too was polite, friendly and very helpful. Derek, Phil & Joe showed up to install our windows [even though there was heavy rains in the forecast that day]. The windows were to be put in at Bacon Library, while we were open to the public - so Derek showed me the areas that would need to be restricted to public. The guys came in, moved a couple things that were too heavy for me to move, and covered things with plastic and tarps. I asked if 2 specific windows could be done first, and they did it with no hesistancy. When through, they swept, cleaned and vacuumed up!! The windows look beautiful! As I said - professional, punctual, courteous and friendly from start to finish! THANK YOU Adkins and Sons for a wonderful experience and a job very well done!!!

    The team was very professional they did a beautiful job I had a wall cut out between the kitchen and living room and had a counter put in they matched the wood perfectly with my cabinets. I had doors and windows put in. When I was having a problem with the doors they got right on it and fixed it. I would highly recommend this company. Everybody is very friendly from office to work crews. Definitely will use them again for my next project

    Amazing work with custom door installation.I was looking for a contractor to install a custom door for my office. My requirement was really complex. Had an arch and wanted a 9’ French door with glass and arch. Called several contractors as well as Lowe’s and everyone said that they can’t do it.This is when Pella doors and windows recommended Kyle Adkins. Kyle did an amazing job designing the door, getting it manufactured and installing it. V professional, top of the line workmanship and amazing creativity. Highly recommend his company.

    We ordered a patio door from Adkins and Sons to replace a broke one on a house we bought in Woodhaven. Once I called, they came out that week and the door was built, shipped and installed within 6 weeks. We purchased a Provia door with the blinds on the inside due to having 2 dogs. James did a great job with the installation. It took him awhile due to the opening being cut wrong years ago and he had to make sure everything was square. The door looks and works great. James also did a great job with the trim work inside and out.

    Great company and an absolute pleasure to work with. They have great prices and amazing financing options. We had multiple companies come out to our house and give us quotes for new siding. They were the only ones that werent pushy and they were also an average of $3000 cheaper than everyone else. I would highly recommend Adkins and Sons.

    I cannot thank Adkins & Sons enough for the incredible job done on my window installation. Everything from start to finish was professional and care free. Kyle Jr., walked me through the entire process, all while outlining what to expect and my responsibilities. (ie. removing window treatments, making sure they have access to the workspace and securing animals if necessary) I was actually excited about getting windows. Derek, Joe, Pat & Greg treated my home with respect the entire install. They even laid floor protection down and vacuumed their debris. Ashley, in the office, is super knowledgeable and sweet answering all my questions. Shes a keeper! Those other companies can come up with their catchy jingles but you are crazy if you dont give Adkins a jingle. Hands down a Downriver favorite.
