    New gas furnace. Tim and Jim were excellent installing to code in one day. York unit is far better than one it replaced, blows much stronger and heats up the house quickly. Lisa in the office was one of the best people I’ve dealt with very personable and professional.

    We had a heat pump installed, some duct work replaced and repaired, and a new zone added about a year ago. The company was professional and started and finished the job on time. The workers were pleasant and answered all my questions. After going through a full heating and cooling cycle, the system is performing well, and the duct repairs increased comfort to the whole house. There were one or two adjustments that were needed in the first year, and they came right out and fixed them quickly. They also took care of the rebate paperwork. I highly recommend them.

    Wonderful staff and quality of service. Actually unbeatable- recommending to anyone I can! Replaced a 33 year old gas furnace with a brand new efficient one. The whole staff was amazing. Great company you can trust and be confident in- I honestly wouldn’t go with anyone else.

    Coastal mechanical was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ran out of heat on Christmas day and someone was there the next day to help us. They were not pushy about buying a new HVAC which was very nice. I will fully be using them in the future and recommend them to anyone in the cape area! Prices are extremely workable.

    I was pleased with prompt service to diagnose an electrical problem with light fixture in kitchen. I ordered a new fixture and paid for it in advance. Coastal Mechanical picked up the fixture at the supply store, brought it to my home and installed it. The technician was pleasant and knowledgeable. The kitchen was left spotless!

    Our heating system was leaking and was shut off, Coastal came out the next morning measured for a new system and it was installed the next day. The gentlemen that came to install were the nicest and so polite. They came back a couple of days later to retest the system to make sure it was up to our standards while the office personnel helped use gain over $4000 in rebates. Thank you for everything Coastal.

    I would recommend this company a 1000 times over. We got 4 bids to do our hvac system. Coastal were not the cheapest, they were second from the most expensive. What made them stand out was the attention to detail and the willingness to answer my many, many questions. We changed our system multiple times before they came to finally install it. They went over every rebate that was available, as well as what type of system would actually fit our needs. When it came time to install, they were on time and explained everyday what they were doing and what to expect. They were super friendly and a pleasure to have in our home. When the system was fully installed, they took the time to explain every aspect and how to use it. The experience could not have been better. They handled all of the rebate paperwork and made sure we were knew what to expect back. I would highly recommend this company!

    Our furnace fan motor and squirrel failed during the cold weather in December. We were without heat for about five days while a HVAC company tried to find parts to repair the furnace. After getting an estimate that it would take two weeks to get parts on an expedited basis, we contacted Coastal Mechanical. They had the parts in stock for our York furnace and they were out the same day to make the repairs. The parts cost about half the price that the other company quoted us. We are extremely happy with the responsiveness and competitive price that Coastal Mechanical gave us. So we highly recommend them.

    Coastal Mechanical is great. The reason for the 4 stars is that the equipment should have the optional monitoring system module included in the price. This was an extra that I learned of only after the installation was complete and being started up.Coastal handled all the $10,000 rebate paperwork . I received the rebate check from Mass Save in 4 weeks, which brought the price down to to less than $3000 for a new 3 ton Heat Pump completely installed in my attic. (I did have existing unit and ducts)Overall the sales, installation and office people were very helpful and competent .

    Coastal has given us excellent service on our Fujisu mini-split system. They did an outstanding job of cleaning our entire system early last summer. Then, this fall one of our zones developed a heating problem. It turned out to be a complex issue, which their tech did an excellent job of diagnosing and repairing. I highly recommend Coastal. In short, they show up when they say they will and know what they are doing.

    I have needed some plumbing repairs twice and was told by neighbors to try Coastal Mechanical . I did and on both occasions the service by them was excellent .     This past spring, Coastal installed a new central air system with all the associated ductwork on the first floor of our rambling Cape style home. In 35 years of ownership, weve never been more comfortable throughout the hottest and most humid days of the summer. Embarking on the project, we consulted with one other HVAC contractor. Ultimately we chose Coastal for a few reasons; First and foremost, Rob Woodbury was exceptionally thorough in his cost proposal process. Rob was sensitive to our preference of maintaining the esthetic integrity of the interior of our c1800 home. Accordingly, his system install suggestion kept this in mind. Rob was available on may occasions to field our additional questions. The Coastal team provided every service; contacting Eversource, electric panel upgrade, outdoor service upgrades, thermostat install, obtaining and signing-off on all necessary work permits, and even follow-up within a week of system install. The install team was exceptional. Professional, courteous, skilled, in all things. The duct work construction took longer than expected. Coastal engaged a larger team at the 11th hour, worked additional days, got the job done on time, at the agreed-to contract price without additional cost.     Coastal Mechanical performed an oil to gas conversion for us and completed the job flawlessly. They installed the new boiler and had mostly everything piped before the gas service was even installed, and then came back when the meter was put in and completed the job with no problems. They also came out quickly before the conversion to empty and remove our old oil tank which we found was corroded an in danger of leaking. They worked with the gas company directly to handle inspections, etc with no issues, and also handled Mass Save paperwork for the loan/rebate. They are also knowledgeable with heat pumps and reprogrammed our thermostat with some improvements to our hybrid dual fuel system. James was very responsive throughout the project and communication was always excellent. I cant recommend Coastal highly enough, it was probably the best experience Ive ever had with any contractor.

Also, beat their Times to do the Job (Replace Furnace) by 1 Week for one of the Companies & 2 Weeks by the other. Now, couple that with complete Job done in one Day (including Permits) with both informative & VERY Professional manner to all our Questions! Bonus! I needed to have another Furnace looked at a Different House. Immediate attention to my problem within the day I called. Fixed the Problem next Day. Did not charge, in both cases, a Service Fee! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Company!!!!!

    Coastal installed new 3.5 ton heat pump and high efficiency gas furnace 2/14/23. New thermostat also. One day install. Rattling noise noted at completion and technician returned next day and basically dismantled heating unit to find missing screw. All good from that point on. All units functioning as expected.Coastal not cheapest but got good vibe with all interactions. Technicians knowledgeable and neat. Hard workers and polite. Office personnel top shelf. Lisa Waite handled all billings and rebate forms for Mass Save. Kudos to her. $4950 rebate received no hassle within 3 months or so. Another $2000 federal tax credit expected in 2024. No brainer to invest in HVAC improvements asap. I would highly recommend Coastal and intend to order a maintenance plan as soon as the warranty period expires.

    Very good A/c repair but not a choice for plumbing. They will install a water heater only if you buy from them. U buy one cheaper on sale yourself won’t do it! I needed a plumber I had a brand new water heater they said no! So they must me swamped for business and didn’t need mine! All good. 4 stars A/c repair 0 stars for plumbing.
