Being a resident of an apartment complex constructed in the 50s in South Jordan, I was dealing with a serious blockage in my bathtub that necessitated the replacement of the original drum trap with a p-trap. Troy walked me through the entire process, clearly explaining how he planned to resolve the issue. He committed several hours over a couple of days to cut through the pipe, restructure the pipe system/p-trap and hydro jetting years of accumulated gunk that emerged... They clearly communicated the work that needed to be done, and it didnt feel as pricey as I had anticipated. The job was executed professionally. However, there were a couple of minor hitches. After the plumbers had left, I discovered that my upstairs A/C unit wasnt working. It took me a while to figure out what was wrong and we had to go without the A/C for the night. The A/C technician found the pan sensor in the pan, which may have been accidentally knocked off during the plumbing work. The A/C was promptly fixed once the problem was identified. The second minor issue was that Troy wanted to install about 18 of pipe insulation, but they didnt have enough on hand. Being 77 years old and having to work in a hot attic is not my idea of fun, especially when the task is challenging and unfamiliar. Even with these minor issues, I still gave Seans Plumbing a 4-star rating because they did a commendable job. Despite the additional cost to get the A/C fixed, I wouldnt hesitate to use their services again. I was initially considering a 3-star rating due to the extra expense, but I understand that the sensors displacement was likely an accident. After speaking with the owner, he agreed to share the A/C repair bill, which I think is a fair resolution for both parties.
