Smithfield Electric worked alongside VA Displays to install the outdoor sign on the front of my business. Ethan and his crew were kind, polite, respectful, and clean. Above all, they enjoy their jobs! It was a hot day in July so we offered them lunch, snacks, and cold beverages. They were incredibly thankful and polite. I am so happy that we stumbled across Smithfield Electric after hiring Ernest at VA Displays to design our sign. I will definitely continue using this company both personally and professionally. Joshua did such a good job! Extremely knowledgeable on what he is doing. He came early and got done just in time for me to make it to work on time for my night shift. This panel can now hold many more circuits. Our original panel only could hold 24 circuits.Also, their quote was the most reasonable quote out of morlite and get lit.

Smithfield Electric provided exceptional and timely service. I worked directly with Ethan to develop the scope of work and he provided an immediate estimate. When the techs had finished the planned work, I had identified one additional task I would like completed. Since it was a new request they did not have the parts to complete it on hand, however they scheduled a return trip two days later to finish up. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend this company.

Ethan is wonderful to work with. He arrives when scheduled and performs quality work in a professional manner. Had several light fixtures and ceiling fans replaced, outlets added in the garage and outdoor lighting installed around our home. Very pleased and would definitely recommend Smithfield Electric!

We had an issue where our smoke detectors were going off full blast in the middle of the night for half a minute then repeating every hour or so until the morning. Not the normal low battery chirp. I also had a really loud scary buzzing sound behind the multiple switches in the master bathroom that lasted for about 30 seconds I called Smithfield electric and talked with Ethan who sent Zack his assistant over. Very professional, he diagnosed and fixed both issues in an hour. While they were there they noticed my main panel had some burning on the main metal bar and too many things on the panel. I was so impressed with them I had them install a new main panel, a ceiling fan in my office and a new circuit to handle my large printer. They also installed a light and outlet in our walk in pantry. I have a list of other stuff Id like done that were saving up for. Their prices are really good so hopefully we can call them back soon. Very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I even checked their license before hiring them so they are good to go, give them a call!

Ethan (Smithfield Electric) trouble shot an outdoor electrical circuit that was used to support low voltage outside lighting, during a rain event it would trip the GFI breaker. On his first visit he corrected the problem and I was able to use the circuit for my holiday lights. During his second visit, he updated the covers on all outside outlets and we made plans to install a 3 way switched circuit in the crawlspace to support under the house lighting. Attention to detail was noted as covers matched existing box colors (brown and silver). Ethan and Chandler came back and installed the under house circuit and added an additional outlet on the outside circuit. All work was completed on time, with great attention to detail and things were left nicer than they were found. I would highly recommend their services and I believe we will have them back to install a dedicated circuit for a finished room over the garage (FROG) A/C unit. I appreciate that they were willing to work on the weekends at no additional charge. Thanks, Ethan and your professional team.

Great service! Ethan the owner is a young professional trying to make a start and with the quality and personal touch I am positive he will succeed. I had a main breaker go bad and called around to everyone with “high reviews” thinking like most they would be the best. After being told they were to busy to many times I called Smithfield electric. Ethan came out after work hours to make sure he could come by and at least look at the problem so I could have electricity back as soon as possible. the next day he had gotten the part I needed and installed with no hassle. great service form an individual who respects and truly enjoys his job.
