    We’ve used ServiceMax for years… from installing our Mitsubishi heating/cooling units, servicing our main HVAC, to a full main bathroom remodel… these folks do it all. Last night our sump pump failed and we had a bid by that evening (Friday night) and it was replaced before noon today (Saturday). Always responsive and communicative with status and any delays (which happened with some supply chain issues on our bathroom).

    Every time they come here to check the HVAC, they’re extremely thorough, very professional, and very knowledgeable about what they’re doing. It’s especially important in a large condo complex that involves so much more than just the unit inside our condo, they have to be knowledgeable about the central air and heating that goes on in the building as well. Nothing ever seems to stop them in their tracks, they always know what’s going on, and I really appreciate their professionalism and their skill set.

    Responsive, professional and reasonably priced. I had my heat go out on a Sunday evening. I called two places, ServiceMax and one other. The other told it would be a minimum of $300 for them to come some time the next day on top of any parts and supplies and time. ServiceMax told me it was less than 1/2 that price and the could come in the morning beetween 8-12. They said the tech would call me 20-30 min before hes available. He called me at 7:30am and was here by 7:50. He was here for 2 hours and told me everything he was working on and doing and what the issue(s) were. I felt confident that we wasnt trying to rip me off, he was polite, professional and responsive. Amazing.

    We have used Service Max for more than 15 years. We have a service plan and they come right out if there is a problem usually within an hour for HVAC. In addition, we have used them for plumbing and electrical as well. All of the service technicians are efficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them for any household problem.

    Had a floor drain that was smelling like sewage and beginning to release liquid. Had another plumber come out that had said it was fixed but happened again. They came, left and got bigger equipment, fixed the block, cleaned up, were personable and punctual and I was relieved and happy. GREAT COMPANY and will use again for sure!     The entire ServiceMax team was professional, hard working, on-time, neat and very customer oriented. All of their employees that I met were extremely outgoing and courteous. The SpacePak system they installed works really well and was sized appropriately. Any damage that occurred during the opening of the walls & ceiling was patched and painted, to the point that it’s no longer visible. Their price / value proposition is outstanding (especially when you consider their warranty). Every single item owner Mike Malek promised when he provided his estimate, was delivered upon (even to the point that Mike himself went up in the attic to see why the unit initially was cycling on/off too rapidly). ServiceMax is a team that does not disappoint. I will hire them again for any future projects that I have.

    Mike at ServiceMax came out on a Saturday afternoon on short notice to assess problems with our old AC unit. He explained why my 25+ year old system needed replacing and I quickly decided to go with him since his company did a great job replacing our old furnace about 4 years ago. On installation day, his crew was on time, and worked the entire day to have the system up and running by late afternoon, including replacing my old thermostats with a Google Nest, which has really made a difference in terms of convenience. We were very pleased with Mike’s responsiveness and the friendly service we received from the installers and from Jose in the home office who helped with the scheduling and payment.     Our AC unit was on its last leg and of course called it quits right before a super hot and humid weekend. Service Max was able to come out and replace our AC unit within 72 hours!! And the next day after install I had a question about the cooling capabilities and Mike got back to me within minutes at well past 6pm! Very good customer service on top of being good at what they do - I highly recommend these guys.

    I had them remove the old water heater, AC unit and furnace and move some piping around and they did a terrific job!     I couldnt be more pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of this company. My issue with a breaker box came on a 7 degree Chicago weekend and Mike managed to do a temporary fix so I had heat and electricity until the problem could be permanently resolved on Monday. Phone calls are returned promptly, the workers clean up after the work is done and overall, provide a reassuring quality of work.

    Ive been a customer of Servicemaxx since December 2017 and I have been satisfied with their service and prices. They also have promotions that you can use which saves you a few bucks. The only con is sometimes I have to wait a really long time to get on their schedule if I need something repaired. Its understandable in the summer as it gets busy. But other than that, Im very pleased with their customer service and Mike is very knowledgeable and takes time to inspect and diagnose what is wrong. I had a drain problem in my bathroom tub and the person who was supposed to show up had a family emergency. And Mike came on the weekend to fix it which I really appreciate.

    Pete and Dave went above and beyond to make sure our wiring was optimal and done right, given our old wiring was in a sad shape, done with many shortcuts. After a few weeks of trying out maximum use of our appliances and lights, all is well and the new 100A circuit box is holding up great! Estimate seemed high at the beginning, but given the amount of work and quality and care of work done on it, it was worth it. Better to be safe and complete than thinking I did it cheaply, and worry the rest of the time. I also finally found my heating and cooling guys in Malek to keep for future needs!

    ServiceMax is the BEST HVAC company I have ever used because they are the most honest, trustworthy, competent, reliable, reasonably priced, licensed, insured, bonded and on-time HVAC company in Chicagoland and burbs. I had them install my Trane HVAC system 2 years ago and they perform excellent & thorough maintenance & cleaning for me. They also wear proper PPE and are highly professional & polite. I highly recommend them. They also did impeccable construction work installing a plywood floor in the ceiling where my furnace is horizontally suspended and repairing the hole they had to cut in the drywall to install unit and a louvered vent cover. Sylvester is one of the HVAC techs that performs excellent maintenance & Mike Malek is the owner of this exceptional quality company. Raphael and Ziggy did superb installation & have construction work credentials too. And Jose is great dispatcher too. If you want your HVAC job done right Call ServiceMax!

    I was experiencing a leak from the ceiling in my washroom. I couldnt locate the source, and didnt know whether it was caused by a plumbing or HVAC problem. I contacted Malek Heating & Cooling on a recommendation. I explained my situation to a very friendly person on the phone. The service tech came out to my house quickly and was attentive and personable. He pin-pointed the source of the leak as coming from roof vents and repaired it quickly for a very fair price.     Very professional service. I had ServiceMax install Mitsubishi Ductless mini Split for two rooms and a battery backup Sump Pump. Mike from ServiceMax explained all my available options and gave me good recommendations. They scheduled the service within a week and had it completed within one day.     My experience with Makek was great. They installed a chandelier and ceiling fan, hung a mirror and changed out a door handle. I actually had the chandelier installed by another company who wired it incorrectly. They easily identified it was wired incorrectly and had no issues fixing it. They were on time, polite and clean. All projects were completed quickly and with no issues. I would absolutely recommend them.

    I just had ServiceMax install a full Spacepak system with high efficiency heat pump into my 90+ year old vintage home and couldnt be more happy with the service. First, this was not the easiest installation considering the age of the house, electrical work needed, and old plaster ceilings; however, everything went off without any issue. The crew was on time everyday, worked efficiently, and cleaned-up well everyday. The best part about working with ServiceMax is the owner Mike is involved the whole way from quoting the project, answering my numerous questions, and doing the final inspection. There are a ton of HVAC & electrical companies up here in the Northshore; however, having the owner involved as a normal course of business made my decision easy. Highly recommend ServiceMAx.

    The responsiveness of the ServiceMax team and how they go above and beyond is second to none. When we first moved into our house with an old (like really old) steam boiler, they serviced it and then showed us how to flush it to keep it running well.     My electricity didn’t work in my living room because I over loaded it with heaters after my boiler stopped working.     We needed to have approximately 1/2 of our mid-50s ranch home rewired to remove a cloth-insulated wire that had deteriorated over its life and presented a potential fire hazard. In addition, we wanted to change out devices to add GFI code pieces. We also wanted to add new exterior light fixtures.The process started with Pedro C. coming out to view exactly what needed to be done in order to write an accurate quote. He spent over 2 hours inspecting the electrical panel and removed switch and outlet plates to try and capture all of the effected areas in the home. He was also trying to determine how much of the houses wiring was in hard pipe conduit versus flexible conduit.The other two quotes we solicited provided quotes where the salespersons spent no more than 1/2 hour reviewing the job.Much to my satisfaction, when we granted our job to Servicemax, Pedro was the lead electrician on the job. He spent a lot of time on detail and tried to explain to us in laymans terms what he needed to do to properly retrofit our house to bring it up to code. I really felt he and his work partner, Jeff W., went the extra mile to make sure everything was done to proper current specifications.
