I called Lightning Electric LLC to come and hang a couple ceiling fans and a camera light over the garage. Kareem and Brandon came out and offered estimates. They seem to be a full service electrical company including surge protection of your whole house from the electrical box. I’m in an older house in the Broadmoor Area and this is very important to me because several home including my next door neighbors house caught fire in the attic last summer and it ruined her house and all the wiring! They we super professional, kind and polite. They explained thingsvery well and gave me many options. They charged $60 which comes off of the work they do and offered to come come Saturday to do the work if I decide to use them. Thanks guys!

Rating is based on the situation. Patience is a necessity. Especially if you happen to run into my situation with a four day weekend and a few days after with inclement weather. Long story short - new fence, possible nicked underground power line, lots of rain (Blanchard, La), half the power in the house went all jittery before going kaput. Called SWEPCO , confirmed underground line bad, etc....So, first searched in my area ...Lightning Electric...emergency service. ABSOLUTELY NOT NECESSARY, paid for something I already suspected with no immediate service or repairs. However, 5 STAR RATING for the following reasons:#1 Accounted for employees safety and customer nessities, they temporarily installed a generator to run the basic luxurious, (a/c, hot water, TV ((NFL/College Football).#2 The owner was very communicative on whats offered and available with my situation, all choices reasonable.#3 Best part, theyve claimed all responsibility of any discrepancies and have honored/refunded any inconvenience. Convenient payment options and follow up services.Would definitely use them on future (smaller) projects.
