    I went with a recommendation from a co-worker on the price and quality job Ascend roofing had done at their home, along with many awesome Google reviews of this company. Ascend roofing lived up to my co-workers reviews and all the reviews on Google!! The crew was super hard working and completed tear off, replacement of 17 plywood boards and 2 2x4s and re-papering and re-shingling plus clean up in 71/2 hours. They worked non-stop!! the clean up job was great. I was afraid it was going to be spring till my roof was replaced but it was just over 8 weeks after signing a contract. The roof looks awesome !!! Highly recommend this company if you need any roofing work done. I was pleasantly surprised at the invoice after all was said and done. Very professional, very affordable, very efficient . I also want to note that earlier after I had signed a contract Jimmy came out and tarped a leak area on a very wet blustery day. Jimmy also was a pleasure working with when he came out and did the measuring, love working with companies that hire fellow veterans. Go with Ascend Roofing !!!

    Tear off and re roof of 36 1/2 squares in one day! With quite a bit of roof to wall work as well. Great hard working, and experienced crew that made quick work of the job. They did a quality job as well and were very tidy with cleanup. And they were under their estimate…when does that ever happen!? Ryan runs a great local business and I highly recommend them. I spent my career in construction and know a good job when I see one.

    Jimmie, the technician was able to find the roof leak that had developed all of a sudden. Please note that we werent able to find it. He replaced the roofing with four shingle sheets that we had. Then he answered our questions about when we should replace the 30 year Elk (now GAF) roofing. He confirmed that we should be using Baking Soda to get rid of the moss and he told us an easier technique for spreading it. He then recommended a specific brand of shingles for our next roof that takes into account that the structure is a manufactured home with only a 3/12 pitch.

    Ascend Roofing did two jobs for me. The first was the two story home they tore off and put down a new roof. The guys are hard working and did a very good job on the roof. Their clean up was excellent. The roof was replaced last year. Second job was a leak from a gutter on the garage side of the house. It had damaged the wall, insulation and support wood for the two story home. Ryan and LeeJay came in and tore down the damaged plywood, insulation and removed/replaced all damaged support wood. When it was all repaired, they installed a larger box and redesigned the roof area so the water does not flow near the house anymore and flows into the drain now. I recommend them for their work is very good and the people are nice too!

    Ascend did a great job on our roof - a total replacement of a single layer. Bid was best of 4 that I got from other companies, and there were no surprises on the final bid - they had to replace some plywood as expected, and that cost a bit more than the bid, but they were clear in the bid process that would be extra and the price per sheet was as needed and spelled out (so no surprise). They had a lead on site entire time, took two and about a half days - left no garbage, no nails seen so far, cleaned up nicely after themselves, and were a solid crew of decent guys. No damage to any of my gardenplants - they were careful. The work appears to me to be very professionally done, I see no issues, got good replacement shingles from a PNW supplier with a 40 year replacement guarantee. My house is about 8 miles from their shop, I drive by it practically every day, and I like that I was able to use and pay for a local company. I’d use them again and recommend to anyone. Excellent five star service.

    GREAT ROOFING JOB DONE BY ASCEND ROOFING COMPANYMy wife and I would like to thank the entire crew at Ascend Roofing Company of Shelton, WA for the amazing roofing job that they did on our home in Union, WA (Alderbrook Golf Course) from April 10-12, 2024. We compared cost estimates and reviews of several local roofers, and also asked neighbors for their recommendations. We chose Ascend Roofing, and are very glad that we did. From the initial removal of the old roof to the application of the underlayment to the expert installation of the new architectural shingles and even three new replacement skylights, the entire job was done professionally and quickly. The crew took great care to clean up the job site each day during the install, and was particularly thorough with the final site cleanup after completion of the project. Throughout the replacement, it was very busy with a lot of workers seemingly going in every direction, but everybody knew their job extremely well, and didn’t waste any time in getting it done. Ascend owner Ryan Gonzalez was also readily available during the job to fully address all of our questions. We are very pleased with the 50-year PABCO Prestige product that was installed, and look forward to many years of improved curb appeal and great protection for our home.

    We got several bids on having our roof replaced and Ascend Roofing was very competitive. They had a good reputation and we always try to spend our money locally, so they got the job. The job took them two days and they worked really hard and in a well-coordinated manner. We are very pleased with our new roof - it looks great. We are very glad we used Ascend Roofing.

    Of the three roofing estimates I received, this was the only one who was savy enough to recognize that the material used on my roof was part of a class action suit and could be claimed.     They were great. I am impressed and that doesnt come easy. They came in, asked where they could park so not to do any damage and laid tarps around the house to catch debris. They were here about 3 hours for set up, putting the roof on, and clean up. Roof and skylight look great! My neighbors are impressed also. Well worth the cost to have my roof done by Ascend Roofing Company. They are my only recommendation for anyone who asks about a roofing company.

    Used Ascend Roofing for a new residential construction, 1 to 1 pitch, galvanized SnapLoc type metal roof last January. Vern was Ascends project manager and hes one of the few construction people I knew I could trust and call and get a quick return, every time. I had a few special requests for Vern which he made happen without any fuss. Vern and his crew were professional and on-time.     *** Edited 11/13/2020: The following business day after my review I received a call from Ryan. He came out that morning and did the repair for a fair price. Out of courtesy Ive upped their rating to 4 stars due to the positive outcome.Previous experiences with Ascend Roofing were positive, but this ongoing recent one leaves me to believe that they currently have poor processes, poor follow through, and that they are not trustworthy.Since our installation of snow ridges on our roof in mid September, they promised to get us a quote and schedule for a repair they found during the install. After 4 weeks, several phone calls and another visit to re-measure the problem area, I thought we were finally making progress. Ryan said they could and would do the job during his October visit and that he would contact me shortly. I left multiple messages for Ryan with no response.This Monday I called and spoke with the owner. He was kind and apologetic, promising a follow up call the next day. That didnt happen. Thursday I left another message, no call back.Over six weeks total have elapsed and here we are in the rainy season with no quote, no schedule, and I have to start over with another company.They could have pretty much named their price and I would have had them do the job. Im happy with the snow ridges, and extremely concerned about the leak I still have. Id recommend at least shopping around before engaging their services.

Like all contractors they had a filled schedule but with some prompting they got us in and done before the rains came.     I called 5 different places and told them all that the insurance is covering the project 100%. All I needed was someone to show up and perform the work. I tried giving the project to a few small businesses to help them out but they never called back. After a month, I called Ryan at ascend roofing and gave him the details. Ryan showed up within a few days and gave me an estimate and was back on-site within the 3-4 weeks as he said. It was a roof that was approximately 2700 square feet with double layered shingles in spots. Ryan and his crew ripped the old roof off down to plywood, replaced the bad plywood, re-papered it, replaced the skylight, knocked off the old chimney, installed drip edges, installed up to code attic ventilation and put the new roof on all in 2 days. I couldn’t get that much work done in a month if I tried. I was so appreciative of their help and hard work that I made his crew lunch both days and they also did a great job cleaning up. I will definitely use their services again if needed and refer them when people ask for a quality roofing company. Thank you again.

    This was the second house that Ascend has put a roof on for me. They did a great job. This was new construction and Vern was very clear about what needed to be done to provide me with a roof that would last and did it within my budget. They showed up when they said they would and had it done quickly and cleanly. The only negative is that I asked them to come back to install the flashing around the vent pipes that the plumber put through the roof and they never showed. I had already paid them in full so theres no incentive to come back I guess.

    Vern and the crew at Ascend roofing are great! He came out and fixed a leak in my skylight and another contractor was coming out to fix the inside only to find out there was some other issues. After agreeing to have that contractor fix the issues we needed ascend to come back out and pull the roof and skylight flashing again so we had a plan.... Well long story short the contractor I had to fix the inside was unable to commit to a schedule so Vern stepped up and had his son and (sorry I forgot your name) another owner came out and took care of it all! They are very stand up and dont play any stupid games! I completly recommend Ascend Roofing to anyone!

    Im giving 5 stars because they were quick to call me back for scheduling the initial estimate. I ended up waiting 8 months from that initial estimate and a second, more inclusive estimate including sheathing and skylight replacement. Ryan was friendly and answered all my questions promptly. He called a day or 2 before the job began to go over my wishes for salvaging my old metal roof and to give details about how long the job would take, etc. The roofers arrived on time, and worked for 2 1/2 days removing and replacing our roof as well as damaged underlayment (?) and damaged rafters as well. They kept the yard clean as they worked and covered the roof and their materials at night (rain was expected). Ryan contacted us after the job was finished to explain why we went a little over budget and called again later to check to make sure we were satisfied.I was always a little anxious every time it rained because our old roof was in disrepair but now I no longer have that feeling and its wonderful. Im happy I could give my business to a local company. I would definitely recommend Ascend Roofing Company to anyone.

Close to the estimate that was given even after finding some damage caused by water. Fixed the damaged area very professional and in a very acceptable time.
