Minnesota Plumbing and Heating was great! They had an appointment available quickly which was awesome. I was notified when the technician was on his way to my home. I received a photo of the technician as well as some history about him which was greatly appreciated. Sometimes it can be a little nerve-racking to have strangers come into your home. John arrived and walked me through what the issues were as well as other information about appliances in my home that I had questions about. He took care of the issue and made sure everything was working properly before leaving as well as go over again everything he fixed. He made sure I didnt have any questions. I really appreciated his attention to detail and willingness to explain to me what I had questions about. I would call this company again for any repairs needed in the future.

I had a great experience working with MN Plumbing and Heating. I first had them out to fix some plumbing issues on two of my sinks---switching from flexible piping to regular piping. The plumber was on time and taught me tips and tricks throughout the process. Later in the week I had my furnace inspected and an estimate given on a new furnace. Scheduling was easy, the guys were prompt, and the installation went smoothly. No complaints! Would definitely use them again.

There are not enough good things I can say about this company and their technicians. My technician, Gary, was probably one of the nicest guys Ive ever met. On top of the fact that he was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. From the moment I called them to the minute he left, I felt like I was in good hands. Ive already recommended them to someone else (and this was before I even got my invoice). I admire the fact that they were upfront and honest about their prices and schedules, I did call a few other companies and when they wouldnt tell me what they charged I was skeptical. Minnesota Plumbing and Heating was the exact opposite; not only were the upfront about their costs, but Gary went out of his way to explain all of the services he performed before he left. Thank you, I will be calling you again!!

I agree with most of the comments on the over charged for the work from MN Plumbing and Heating. Id similar experienced, which a leak on one of the bathroom copper pipe that requires attention. Then contacted MPH for the first time. Jeff was the tech who turned up the next morning. He had suggested Ill need the copper pipe replaced to fix the problem, since hed noticed the main water valve was shut off at that time. Then, he shows me the quote $741 price tag. He then further explained the complications of the work to be done, which kind of a sales tactic in my opinion. Due to zero knowledge in plumbing and was presented with not much of an option, I agreed to proceed. By the way, I was even more surprised when the job was completed in an hour.All said and done Id shared my experienced with friends and through asking around all of them concluded that Id over paid for the service.I am changing the review to 4 after received a follow up call from Bob at MPH office, which we both workout through the situation with the payment disagreement. I would have gave it a 5, if the service guy could have worked with me on an agreeable payment term.

Our 13 year old water heater went out. We called MN Plumbing and Heating the next morning and they were able to dispatch a plumber out that afternoon. They were able to replace our water heater that same day. I felt the price for the work once all said and done was a little high. Had it been something we could have gone without for a few days, we would have shopped around and perhaps would have saved some money. However, the work was quickly and the plumber was very professional. Besides the price, we are very satisfied with this company.

Josh is great. I have had him out twice. Once to fix an outdoor faucet which has had freezing issues - no more issues. The second time to do a water heater drain & flush. He explained the condition of our water. We decided to go with the electric anode rod so our water heater will last longer.

Dean came out, evaluated the problem, spent time explaining what needed to be done now and what could wait. He took the time to go back to get the necessary repair supplies and returned to fix everything. We have recently moved and found that many services come out, say they werent scheduled for the amount of time it would take to handle the problem, and make us make another appointment - weve been waiting for a cable install for a month now! Dean was great! He took the time, handled all issues, and explained everything. Highly recommended!

After 14 years, I had to have my water heater replaced. Upon discussion with the salesperson/tech, Jeff, we agreed that a tankless water heater was the best option for my family of 4. Not only from an always available hot water standpoint, but that I will see a reduction in my gas bill because my water heater will only run when I need it too.The two person team (Jeff and Carlos) came to my house and installed the new water heater within a couple of hours. They were kind, NEAT, and very professional. I have dealt with many repair/service companies over the years, and these guys were outstanding. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great service.I am excited to report after only a couple days of having the tankless water heater, my life has changed. I was able to wash dishes in my dishwasher, do two loads of laundry, shower one kid and give a long bath to the other, AND take a long HOT bath for myself all within hours. It was worth the investment.

John H. was on time and did a wonderful job explaining to a non-plumber why my faucet was leaking, which is no small task. Then, he walked me through some repair options in plain language and patiently answered all my questions. As he worked he even took the time to show me his cool new battery operated pipe cutter.When he finished the work, he wasnt willing to say he was done until hed satisfied me that the leak had stopped. Thats an experience you dont find often!Youd be miles ahead by hiring Minnesota Plumbing and Heating for any of your plumbing needs. If you say pretty please, they might even send John H.

Minnesota plumbing and heating was the most efficient and enjoyable experience Ive ever had in regards to plumbing.Our plumbing expert John explained to me in detail which steps were being taken and why throughout the entire process. He helped educate me on the basics of my immediate concern, and took the time to review and inform me and any other plumbing concerns he could find in our home.Upon completion of this process I was then given multiple solutions with no pressure to select any particular one. John was professional, family friendly, and simply a joy to work with.I highly recommend using Minnesota Plumbing and Heating for all of your plumbing needs.Update 04/18 - While I continue to use MN P&H (HOMEWORKS), and still highly recommend their services, I do wish to inform you that their prices can be high. While some may argue you get what you pay for, I feel it is best to forewarn those who may be more price conscious.

Update - Minnesota Plumbing and Heating called to follow-up and sent a technician out. He looked at the softener and gave suggestions on next steps. I do appreciate their follow-up with meI called to ask if someone could come out and look at a Kenmoore water softener that put out hard water periodically and randomly. The person who booked the appointment for me said that their plumbers were very familiar with that appliance and would be able to help. The plumber showed up 30 minutes after the 2 hour appointment window I was given and said that he didnt know what he was there to look at. I showed him the softener and explained the problem. He stated that I should call the 800 number on the softener and that he didnt know anything about the system and that he wasnt sure why he was sent to my house. The only redeeming part about the experience was that he didnt charge me the $59 visit fee. Nobody followed up with me at all after he left.

He thoroughly explained the process for the estimate of work, explained the list of options with costs. No pressure was put on to pick any option over another. The work was performed quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased and would recommend them for any plumbing & heating needs.

Highly recommend Minnesota Plumbing and Heating! Great customer service, quick, efficient, respectful, reliable, ethical work. Dave was personable, low pressure but informative when we had to make decisions . He showed detail oriented, solid work in replacing our water heater. This company was easy to work with throughout the entire process. Office staff were helpful and efficient. Love the communication process this company uses to keep us updated with timelines etc. Our favorite: the text messages ahead of time with info complete with picture of the professional coming to our home, which left us not only informed but also feeling more secure in knowing we were allowing a safe person into our home! In the end, Dave left our home clean as if he was never here. Overall a great experience.

Before the visit when I called - they took some time to consult with me over the phone concerning the options I had concerning problems (good advice). Im not going to blast this business with a rotten review written out of anger as Ive used them previously, successfully. Im with Suzie on this one that left a review 9 months ago. Like her, I had spent hours with my wife, who is South for the winter, on selecting a replacement faucet for our kitchen. It is the only one that we wanted installed and had it available at the sink, and they knew this when I ordered the service. Install only. The tech comes out and firmly asserts that I have 4 options. He wouldnt hear of just doing what I ordered, just install. The first one was 2400 to replace the garbage disposal and all the valves Etc. My beef is this: I should have been told that the tech was going to look at everything under that sink and give me this line of options. I work and was not there. Not fair. My second beef is that he tried to sell me a Moen with the second and third option. How in the world would he know what we would want, and beyond that, our selection was right in front of him. Thats ridiculous. I did take him up on changing a couple of shut off valves assuming he was correct in doing this on a prevention basis.My last observation was the CSI call the next day which could have been a total plus but after my answer that I was happy with the install I was asked to rate the service from 1-10 and Im sure there were 5-10 questions after that.My advice is this: If you want to survey me, ask me if I have time. Please dont assume that we all love surveys. Im survey weary. A lot could have been done better here. They are a good business, but this part needs a tune up.

I manage a 64 unit, 8 building townhome complex where we recently had a commercial water heater fail. It was on a Friday. I contacted this company due to their proximity to the complex. At mid day they sent a tech out to inspect the unit. By 5 pm they had a new water heater on deck and a plan to return in the early morning for a full replacement, which was completed by ten AM. I couldnt recommend this company more highly.

Great experience with getting our furnace fixed. They were very responsive when scheduling an appointment. I used their online appointment tool and received a call within minutes to confirm an available time slot. When the technician was on his way the next day, I received a text (and email) including his name and picture. He greeted me and was very upfront and honest about the inspection and repair process. He quickly identified the issue and came up with an estimate to fix the problem at hand as well as few estimates including other optional service and replacement options for other components as well. He was very clear about which component was the root cause and needed fixing and which other components were aging and could use replacement as well but were optional. I opted for just replacing the broken component and was not met with a poor attitude or pushy sales tactics about my choice. The repair was done shortly after reviewing the estimate and our furnace was back in action. One other thing I really liked was their entire estimate and billing process is done electronically on a tablet. After paying I immediately received an email with a copy of my invoice and the original estimates. Very polite and straight forward process overall, would definitely call them again.

I had them put in a new AC, a new furnace, and a new water heater in my home in Eden Prairie. MN Plumbing and Heating technicians are professional and reliable. Their services are top-notch and they perform quality work. I am very happy on that front. That said, their prices seem higher than competitors and higher than my comparative analyses done via google. I had second thought after scheduling my installation appointment and wanted to do additional research to make sure I dont overpay and feel comfortable with my purchase. They did the best to be accommodating and I appreciate the customer service and professionalism. They were responsive and helpful. I would suggest doing your research thoroughly before you make an expensive decision like this one so you could feel good about your purchase. Bottom line, I am happy with this company and would use them again for other services.
