    The week before Christmas, my hot water heater failed and I needed a new one quickly. I called Universe to obtain a quote for a new one. They set up the appointment, confirmed it and came the very next day. They provided a written quote that would be honored for an entire month. They were professional, polite and followed through providing an excellent experience.

    Keith and his co worker (i apologize for not getting the name). Were professional and went over the process and possible payment plans. They didnt even take a break which is rare these days. The job was done quickly,cleanly,and everything worked perfectly. Also I forgot to mention that this was an emergency job which required the entire electrical panel to be replaced as I had no electricity. Thanks again

    Recently, my newly renovated home faced a critical issue with a gas leak that required replacing all the gas pipes. Sal, an experienced and highly professional plumber, handled our situation with exceptional skill. He suggested routing the pipes through the external walls into the utility room, which smartly minimized the need to cut through more areas of our interior walls. Before starting, Sal meticulously covered everything and laid down cloths to protect our floors, showing great respect for our property.Both Sal and Rob worked efficiently, completing all work within a single day, which was impressively fast. They also took the time to clean up all debris after the job was done, leaving our home as tidy as when they arrived. This level of service is rare and appreciated.I am deeply grateful for their fast response, quality workmanship, and the proactive measures they took to protect our home during repairs. I highly recommend Sal and Rob for any plumbing needs – their professionalism and efficiency are outstanding!

    Frank was very informative about the services and products available for our needs. We decided to go with a ductless mini split on the first floor and central upstairs (duct to ductless). Installation took one day the team was professional and extremely clean. The system seems to be working great, quiet and efficient. Can wait to see how it performs this summer. Would recommend

    I had my gas heating system replaced by Universe today. From start to finish it was an excellent experience. Frank reviewed all of the options with me and guided me to the best system for my home. Mike and Dan came today to do the installation. They were a pleasure to work with; professional, patient, respectful and neat. Once they were finished they reviewed all of the new equipment with me and labeled all of the important shut off switches. Nick, installation manager stopped by this morning to check on the progress. I had my central ac replaced by Universe 10 months ago and also had an outstanding experience then. Highly recommend.

    Nick explained all that had to do with our issue with the water heater we inherited after moving into our house. He was very thorough with his work. Explained every step of the way. I learned more about how the water heater works and key areas to lookout for any future issues. Would definitely recommend Universe for any issues with plumbing, heating system and electrical.     Amazing!!!! I have had a lot of experience with home services like plumbing and these guys are by far the best. I recently changed my boiler to (wall unit ..Alta 200000) and they replaced all the existing Pipes that was poorly done before all in one day! My conclusion dont go anywhere else because universe stand by there work !

    Salesman Mark T. came to our house on Sunday morning. We needed a furnace & water boiler. Mark showed us the different options and we were able to get a great financing rate. By Thursday a fantastic crew led by Carlos had everything installed. My wife and I will be doing other upgrades and Universe will be the ones we go to.

    Excellent repair and service from Universe. Our repairman Nick was knowledgeable, professional and efficient.     We’ve used Universe Home Services for HVAC and plumbing issues prior and this is the second time for electrical issues in our home. Dave B. was our electrician both times and he and his team did a phenomenal job each time. Dave was upfront, transparent and explained everything that each electrical job entailed clearly.     Joe, and his team, Mike, Kevin, and Trevor were friendly, respectful, and professional. Also, they did what I asked and Joe even gave me advice about replacing a kitchen window light. They installed my range hood, and ventilation system where I didnt have one. They installed high hat lighting in my kitchen and dining room, and a ceiling fan in my dining room. I will always ask for Joe whenever I call Universe for any electrical work. I felt very comfortable leaving them to do their work without having to watch them, allowing me to do my work as well as run errands. Simply put, Phenomenal. And another thing, whenever I called in, Peggy treated me with the utmost care, respect, friendliness, and professionalism. So I conclude with thanking Universe for making my electrical experience worth it.

    Universal Home Services responded promptly to my request for a quote to install a home EV charger. The technician who came over was super technical and was able to explain how he would snake the wire through the basement ceiling to install the charger. He was able to provide the quotes quickly with various options. The price was reasonable and it was better than other prices I have received from other companies.

    We have been using Universe for over 15 years now. They have installed our furnace, ductless A/C and today they replaced our 17 year old hot water heater. They are always on time and professional. Within the span of 4 hours today I was given an estimate and then another crew came and replaced our hot water heater. It’s a pleasure to deal with people that take pride in what they do.

    My ductless units - four of them stopped blowing cold air. The ductless heads the outdoor unit were all installed in May 2020.Ryan Meighan showed up at my house to diagnosis the problem, provided a temporary fix and set up a follow up appointment for a permanent fix.On Monday 9/16 four technicians arrived at my home. They were there all day and not only fixed but replaced the items that were creating my issue. And it was at no cost. Universe provides you with a five year full warranty and honor it.The technicians that showed up at my house were Ryan Meighan, Tommy, Josh and JM. They were extremely professional and treated my house as if they owned it. Since this was an all day project I had numerous interactions with them. During the project I always felt that this was the crew I wanted in my house fixing the issue.If you are thinking about a major expense of upgrading your heating and/or cooling systems in your home you should definitely use this company. From the first phone call to the minute your project is complete this company never forgets the importance of taking care of the customer. And they stand behind the work that is performed.

    2024 - Once again, Universe came through for me! A plumbing problem threatened to ruin my Christmas, but Jeff came to the rescue! It was a nasty job and frankly embarrassing!     I had an excellent experience using Universe. They came right away for an estimate and were able to start an entire AC install within 2 days. Tho more expensive, they came to my house with 6 men and within a day completely installed the new system and carted out the old. They left my house neat as a pin. The men were easy to talk to and easily answered myquestions. Highly recommend Universe!!

    We replaced our central air conditioning and Universe provided professional service from start to finish. The consultant, Marty, showed up the day we called, took his time to inspect our system, listened to our concerns, and talked us through different options. When I emailed him questions, he responded quickly and he followed up after the install.The installers Mike, Campbell, John, and Gerald all showed up early and got right to work. They worked hard all day and did a tremendous job to get the old system out, the new system in, and set everything up nicely. They addressed any issues promptly and the install looks very neat and clean. The electricians, Sean and Q, helped extend a line and explained the importance of what they were seeing.Every single team member above was professional, courteous, friendly, and respectful. They answered my questions, explained things very well, and were very knowledgeable.     The entire experience was good. The sales person came to do an estimate. The price was reasonable compare with competitors. After a couple day, he followed up and we decided to go with Universe Home and the install team came and a new heater was installed in about 6 hours. They cleaned the area just like the way it was. No extra garbage or mess. The heater works great, so far only been 2 days. Overall experience was great and professional. Thank you.

    Been a customer for over 20 years. They have handled the yearly maintenance of my furnace. Luckily I have not had many other issues but when I have they have been both professional and responsive. Most recent was the discovery of a leaking hot water heater on a Wednesday. Replacement took place on Friday. Highly recommend

    We started using Universe a number of years ago when Sears would not honor our extended warranty with them on our central AC. Weve used Universe a number of times since then for a variety of home repair services and every time we are completely satisfied with their work. This time, serviceman DB came to repair and replace some ductwork, our bathroom vent and an outdoor electric light. He was on time, let me know ten minutes out he would be here soon, did fantastic work, beautiful clean up, was friendly, knowledgeable, took the time to make sure everything was done correctly and that I understood what he did and why, showed me what went wrong with the old system - in other words, all you could ask for. I recommend these guys to everybody. We have never had one follow up issue with any of their work. DB was fantastic and went above and beyond what you usually get from in home service today. Completely recommend both Universe and DB.I meant to add this addendum a number of weeks ago, but as it does, life happens. We booked Universe to upgrade our high hat kitchen lights. Dave and Ryan came. They explained everything very clearly, did wonderful work, were polite and friendly the whole time. As always, I highly recommend Universe. Their employees are always knowledgeable, friendly, dont try to high pressure you into services you do not need and most importantly do excellent work.Follow up with later service. Joe H came to work on our plumbing and just like the others before, he was very friendly, professional and gave great service.Follow up with later service. Joe 2 and Michael Q. Needed to have my electrical connection for a new dryer upgraded. Discovered that the old wiring was in a dangerous situation. Joe 2 did the upgrade and made a recommendation on how I can find if theres more areas of danger plus be protected for a full year. No pressure or hard sales pitch, just a simple stating if facts and what he felt the benefits were. He also showed me physical evidence of what was taking place. I feel very confident with the work that he did that we are safe and booked for future work to make sure that there is no future danger. . When it comes to electric, you never want to take a chance. I knew we had original wiring in the basement, but did not know with wiring that old that its coverings could degrade to such a point because wiring was done differently then. Very grateful he pointed it out to me and showed me what could happen. Would recommend Joe to for any electric issues!Service call for a dishwasher issue. Jimmy 2 came. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.. Was able to repair the problem quickly. As always, excellent service from Universe and I would also recommend Jimmy 2 for any of your service needs.Update 3/29/23 - needed some work done on a light switch. Keith S 45 came and did wonderful work. He was very friendly and professional and explained everything. He was a great representative of Universe.Update 5/18/23 we needed some plumbing work done to replace an outdoor spigot, some indoor piping and an indoor water turn off valve. Nick and JP were very friendly, professional and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up so well, if I didnt know someone had done work there, I would never have suspected it that someone was in the area. Literally not one bit of debris was left behind. Both gentlemen were wonderful and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is having a plumbing issue

However, I gave a $200 cash deposit in good faith for a job that I then canceled because the cost was Far above my budget. I am not being given the full $200 refund because of a “dispatch fee.” I’ve been a long-standing customer of Universe and I find this pretty unethical. No work was done.

    We hired Universe to do an oil-to-gas conversion on our home. They did an amazing job! Everything was done in one day at a reasonable price. The entire scope of the job was to remove the old furnace and hot water heater, remove the oil tank, install new furnace and water heater, install coil and condenser for central air, and install a chimney liner. I was impressed with the work they did and how quickly the team worked. Bob was our sales rep and he was very kind and helpful through the whole ordeal. All the appliances came with a five year warranty as well. Weve had the new system in place for about two months and have not had any issues with it. Looking forward to using the central air in the summer!

    I normally dont write reviews, but i had to leave one for this company. I did an oil to gas conversion and couldnt have been happier with using Universe. Although this company was not the cheapest quote I received, their price was competitive, and as the old saying goes... you get what you pay for. For a daunting task like this in the middle of winter, Universe did not disappoint and was worth every penny. Believe me when i say that this company is a well greased machine! They handled everything from removing the old equipment, removing the oil tank, and installing the new equipment. They were spot on with the communication and everything went seamlessly smooth. They kept me in the loop of what to expect and coordinated with the Town for permits , the chimney liner folks for a certificate, the demolition company for a certificate, and the gas company for the permit and installation. Theyre work was top notch and they cleaned up after themselves. The installation folks were superb (Gamble and his crew). They listened to all my concerns and addressed them quickly.I have to give a big shout out to my Sales person Frank B. He was always available to respond and is honest and very sincere. He really cares about his clients and his work. I even spoke to him on the weekend and he even returned my call when he was on vacation.     Universe Home Services was recommended for a conversion from an oil to gas heating and hot water system. I was impressed from the start. The sales rep that came to the house was here when they said they would be here. Very informative and professional in a non-assertive way. The work schedule was set up to accommodate me. When the work started, it was obvious that they were concerned with not damaging any other area of the house while moving the old system out. The new system was installed in a timely manner. The installers were very polite and professional and did everything they could to accommodate a couple of issues that arose do to the space the new system needed. As with any new system, a small technical mater became apparent the next day. I called Universe, and a repair technician came as soon as one was available (couple hours). The problem was diagnosed, and corrected, and the entire system was double checked to make sure nothing else would arise. I have to say that the technician that came for the repaire, and everyone else where a pleasure to deal with, and I was glad they were recommended, as I will recommend if asked.

He listened to my past experience with my last water heater and showed me that it was probably leaking. The water heater was 12 years old and I knew I had to replace it. Paul told me that the new installations could be here in 2 days, on the 2nd day Paul arrived with everything I needed. He did all the work himself.     Within the last few months Universe has replaced my hot water heater (under warrantee) and repaired heating pipes, as well as replacing the pipe under my sink. They were on-time, courteous, professional, and clean. They were able to fit me in on the day that I called, which was greatly appreciated. Most importantly, it was fixed right the first time. I have had a few issues in the past when I had to call them back, but lately this has improved. They were unable to fix my stove because they couldnt get parts, but they called to explain that they didnt want to charge me for a visit if they couldnt fix it. They directed me to the manufacturer for that. I am glad to have them on contact, so when I need a repair person, I know who to call. They also give the least expensive, moderate, and most complete options for repairs.

    I’ve driven past Universal over 1000 times easy in my life. I’ve never had the need to call them. A friend recommended them to me when my dryer stopped working. They set up an appointment but because of the holiday weekend I had to wait which I understand. My technician showed up within the timeframe that I was told. His name was Tom. Polite professional courteous even loved on my dog ( and friendly to my mother in-law) He knew exactly what the issue was and he had the parts in the truck already. I think he was in and out in just over an hour. I wasn’t crazy about the price because it was an old unit but repairing it was cheaper than buying a new one. I also understand the economy is screwed so the price was acceptable. Extremely satisfied with the company the customer service the repair and especially Tom.     Universe installed a new gas heating system for me in 2021 and everything was great until I noticed water dripping today. I called their service department and the response was fantastic. I had two different people from the company at my house within hours. One, a plumber named Anthony, was extremely talented and also very polite and professional.     During the heat wave our a/c stopped working while we had our 2 grandsons with us, both under 2 and a half years old. Instead of sending someone the next morning, Universe sent a technician that afternoon who spent many hours attempting to track down the issue. Since he was not able to get it working that day they send another technician early the next day who resolved a complicated problem with the help of the manufacturer. Both worked hard to get the job done. They were friendly and professional.We will call them for any future appliance repairs and recommend them to others. Thanks to both service technicians.

    Had a sudden electrical issue and they responded /arrived on site within an hour, diagnosed the issue, performed a quick temporary fix to give me electricity back in the zones that were out, and are returning to do full electrical upgrade within the week. Service was very timely, extremely efficient, and the serviceman was extremely diligent in his efforts and explaining everything to me - someone who does not have an extremely strong understanding of electrical systems. Would highly recommend for in home service needs.
