I am so thankful for the service I receive from Brian at Pingston electric. I had others come out and give me horrendous quotes and try to upsell me everything. Brian was very logical as he went through electrical in my home as we were having a major issue. First thing he told me was to call Florida power and light because of all the flickering power in my house. FPL came out in the terrible storm rain and replace my entire wire from the pole to my home.. They found a neutral wire was out. Causing the flickering. My home is old and needs to have the electrical box replaced and some wires from the electric outside to inside. Brian was very kind and explained everything to me and gave me a price that was livable. While others try to rip you off Kingston electric will work with you and do what’s right for you. I highly recommend them. I feel confident in their work, their expertise and their honesty. I feel blessed to have found them.

From the estimate process through the completed work, from the receptionist through the technicians, this company is amazing! The technicians were friendly, professional, courteous and efficient. They arrived when scheduled and worked fast and precisely to finish the job. I received an estimate to install outlets on a switch above my kitchen cabinets and install an outlet in a closet for an internet switch. While installing the kitchen outlets they walked around the kitchen to be sure the outlets would be hidden from view. Something I had not even considered, but I greatly appreciate the attention to detail. They cleaned up after they finished and even replaced my decorations. We will definitely recommend Pingston Electric to anyone who needs electrical work done!

We chose Pingston Electric because of the great reviews...and they are WELL DESERVED!!! They were professional and did a great job - from the time we first called them and their efforts to get service to us as soon as possible... to keeping us informed on when they would be out to do the repairs. We had a power surge caused by FPL, and Gabriel was so nice to come out on a SUNDAY to repair the burnt outlet and do a safety check for us. He was very nice and professional, he explained everything to us and he did an amazing job! We will definitely use them again...they are the BEST in the area!

My insurance company told me that I had to remove aluminum wiring from my house or else they would drop my policy. I contacted a couple other electricians, and they didnt have the resources or desire to do this work. I called Pingston Electric and was connected directly to John Pingston to review my needs. He scheduled a crew to be at my house the following week and he prepared me for the potential scale and possible home disruption. The 2 man crew came in and completed the work in a single day without destroying the drywall or ceiling. They went out of their way to make sure the power disruption didnt impact my work-at-home network and it ended up being thousands less than expected. I understand that every house is different, and you might need more significant rewiring, but they were upfront and honest. Everything just worked out great for my house. Thanks Pingston.

Came out for estimate and they were able to install it quickly. Work appears to have been well done. However I was told on the phone and in person that the cost of parts would be about $30 before work was done and as soon as it was installed they tried to bill me $63 for parts even though it was a very standard job. Overbilling an estimate by more than 100% is bad by any standard when there were no complications.

Installed breaker for my new tank-less water heater ... seems good job, although havent got a plumber here to finish the job yet. (Seems they are impossible to get!) However, they promised to provide quotes on a couple of other jobs I have yet (over a month later) to receive. So, 4 stars instead of 5.

The electrician showed up on time and was friendly and courteous. He worked very hard wiring in fan boxes and installing fans in 3 rooms, and cleaned up after he was done. We are very satisfied with the work and will have them back in the fall to finish the to do list.

Outstanding service by Gabriel. We wanted to be able to connect a generator to our house for upcoming hurricane season. To do so, the main breaker box on the outside of the house had to be replaced. Gabriel came and gave us a written estimate for the work that needed to be completed. He then was the installer that came out to do the installation. He worked hand in hand with FPL and our electric in the house was only out for approximately 5 hours while the work was completed. After installation, Gabriel gave me a walk thru as to steps necessary should power go out. He went through this process 3 times to ensure I knew exactly what needed to be done during a power outage. Definitely recommend the services of Pingston Electric and my thanks again to Gabriel.

After losing a number of appliances to an electrical surge I called Pingston. They installed surge protection devices by my electric meter and by my main service panel. They also brought some wiring in my house up to code. Communications were excellent. Worker/electrician communications were excellent. Quality of work was excellent plus. Price, while a little high, was well worth it given the alternatives such as a fire or loss of future appliances etc.

He was on time and polite and finished in an hour & fifteen minutes even though he had to install an attachment to hold the fan in place. He pretty much put the fan together before he installed it.. I would definitely use Pingston Electric again whenever I have anything that involves electricity!

We had to have 3 ceiling fans wired and installed in our first home. The house didnt have any fixtures in the ceiling in any of the bedrooms. All the light switches ran to a outlet. Pingston came out and wired 3 ceiling fans, and installed them, they also did our ground outlet in the garage and fixed our kitchen outlets because they werent up to code. Thank You so much!
