Anthony from Advocate knocked on my door a couple of months after a big hail storm that went through Valley Park. I am on the northern edge of that storms track and didnt think I had any damage. I had however seen several new roofs going up in my area, so I permitted Anthony to check mine. It was on the bubble, but worth a claim to State Farm. Anthony and a colleague of his came when the insurance adjuster was here. One of them was on the roof with the adjuster and respectfully talked to him about what he saw. I got a new roof, facia, and gutters. After my deductible and requesting some upgrades, I paid $2100 for $13,800 worth of materials and labor. Scheduling and performance of each part of the work was smooth, and went quickly. The company is responsive and the employees are personable. The work and materials are both high quality and come with warrantees. I am thrilled Anthony knocked on my door and that I decided to go with Advocate.

Jake is the window developments manager for Advocate Windows, and doors. I had eight windows installed and eight pine sill’s installed. I didn’t purchase the windows through advocate. I had these windows sitting in my garage for around five years American Craftsman by Anderson. Zack and Jesse were the ones installed my windows. They were extremely transparent throughout the entire process and was exceptionally fair with the price. Jake gave me his professional opinion and never try to oversell me on installation. I’m extremely happy with the outcome of all eight windows and I would highly recommend Advocate Construction Company.

I hired Advocate Construction to replace all the windows in my home. What I liked most about Jake was the fact that he understood what my goal was and how I wanted to get there. He was very intelligent on the product and had very good ideas to help me make my project a reality. When it came time for install, Zach and his team was on time and very easy to work with. I recently worked with Andrew Cheek with Advocate Construction, and it was one of the most intimidating processes that he made easier than I could have imagined! My roof, gutters, and downspouts needed to be replaced after a hail storm and he walked me through the entire process! Advocate Construction exceeded our expectations in every way. Our initial phone call was returned immediately and Jordan Soaib and Jason Harris came to our house that afternoon. Both were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They walked us through the claim process with our insurance company that afternoon! Jason and Jonathan were present when the adjuster did the inspection which was also comforting to us. Once we were approved for a new roof and gutters, Jason, Jonathon, and Jordan were in constant communication with us and explained every step in detail. Jason became our main point of contact, and he is absolutely wonderful! He is client-centered and service oriented. He follows through and his communication is top notch. My neighbor suggested I have Anthony Pacheco of Advocate Construction look at my roof for hail damage. My wife and I are very happy we did. Anthony is an amazing young man who was friendly, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. He met the claims agent, to get the claim started, worked with the insurance company and kept us informed throughout the entire process of making our home whole. The Advocate Construction workers did a great job from start to finish. Everything looks great, and the workers were courteous, worked hard and they took good care of the yard as well. Tim Flynn, Advocate Construction is a rock star! Sadly, this is the second time in less than 2 years that we had to rely on him and his expertise. First time was after a tornado and this year was from a huge hail storm. Tim was quick to respond and take control of a monotonous situation. He surveyed our damage and immediately contacted our insurance company, met with our adjuster, and handled and coordinated all of our repairs. My roof replacement due to hail damage was made easily with the help of Advocate Construction salesperson Sean Viti. Sean walked me through their process and even put me in contact with my insurance company. The next day I was contacted by my insurance company with my claim number, name and phone number of the inspector and the date and time they would arrive to inspect my roof. Once the inspection and claim estimate was sent to me, Sean reviewed the claim estimate and found one portion of the roof needed to be clarified and added. Sean and I then contacted my insurance company and this new roof item was resolved with my receiving an updated estimate. The pre-installation process went just as Sean said it should work. The roof replacement also went smoothly and was completed within one day which included their clean-up. I much appreciated Sean staying in contact with me and his ensuring I was 100 per cent satisfied with their work. I recommend Sean and Advocate Construction for others who may need their roofs replaced.

This started off as a negative review, but I came back to update from 1 star to 5. There were communication issues after the initial roofing work was done, and I did quite a bit of legwork to figure out how the issues we had were going to be resolved, which was very frustrating. However, after my first review, which was not very glowing, Jonathan and Jordan reached out and we met in person to discuss the issues, which were communication and timing, and not actually the work in question. As a self employed person myself, I understand that all newer businesses have growing pains and have to make mistakes to learn from. I am very appreciative that they reached out and we were able to meet and discuss the thoughts we were all having, and that we were able to reach a conclusion. The actual work is excellent, and I do believe that once they hammer out the in-office communication flaws that all businesses start with, they will have no further issues continuing forward.

My sales representative with Advocate Construction, Timothy Shearn, was amazing throughout the entire process. Tim is very knowledgeable about the process. Tim would contact me and inform about every step of the process. He made the process easy for me. The process started with Tim assisting me in submitting a claim to my insurance company for roof damage. I previously had other roofing companies informed me that it was doubtful that my insurance company would cover the cost to replace my roof, which was damaged by hail. Tim organized a team approach for my project. This included Tim arranging for Donald from Advocate, who is very knowledgeable about insurance company’s requirements for replacing a damaged roof, meeting at my house with the adjuster for my insurance company to view the damage. My insurance company ended up covering the cost to replace not only the damaged roof, but also the damage to my fascia, gutters and downspouts. We recently had roof damage from a strong spring thunderstorm in March that produced high winds, rain and hail. Many homes in our subdivision had similar damage to ours. As a result, there were many roofing company reps knocking on doors to solicit roofing repair business.Jake Lintzenich from Advocate Construction came to our house inquiring if we had roof damage. In our nearly 50 years of owning houses in Missouri, Florida and New Jersey, this was our first experience with roof storm damage. We invited Jake in and listened to his description of Advocate’s services.We were impressed with Jake’s overall knowledge and Advocate’s strong corporate history and growth in sales in the many markets/states they are active in. This was not a 2-man operation.We quickly decided to go with Advocate to replace our roof. Immediately a date was set for a foreman from Advocate and a claims agent from our insurance company to meet and inspect the roof shingles. The insurance claims agent agreed with Advocate’s assessment.The roof shingle replacement went very smoothly after a very long day for the roofing crew.Subsequently, Jake took the lead in managing the claim process with our insurance company and the final insurance payments were issued quickly.With Advocate Construction assisting us, the whole roof repair process was smooth, fast, and stress-free.

Last fall we saw many Advocate Construction signs in our neighborhood and new roofs going on those houses. After talking to some of the homeowners getting new roofs/gutters, etc. and hearing their positive reviews about Advocate and Advocate’s ease of working with insurance companies, we decided to reach out to Advocate to see if we might qualify with our insurance company for a new roof. We met with Andrew Cheek from Advocate who explained the process and we agreed to have Advocate file an insurance claim for hail damage to our roof. A member of the Advocate team was present when the insurance adjuster inspected our house. Together they were able to document damage, take photos, etc. and on the spot told us what repairs we qualified for — in our case it was a new roof, sky lights, gutters, downspouts, gutter guards, and a couple other things that we chose not to repair but still received payment for those items. Within a few days we had a detailed summary of work to be done by Advocate and funds from our insurance company.Due to conditions (colder temperatures and less working daylight hours) we chose to delay any work until this spring. With money in the bank, Advocate never pressured us for advance payment on prospective work. Once we decided on a shingle color we did make a nominal deposit to lock in the price of the shingles since neither Advocate nor insurance would cover an increase in cost of shingles. The work on our house began in March. The roof tear off/new roof install was completed in one day and great care was taken to protect our house/windows and crew did a great job of cleaning up debris. The sky lights and gutters, etc. were replaced within a few weeks.As with any major construction job there were a few hiccups but Andrew stayed on top of the problems and everything was resolved to our satisfaction. We’ve lived in our house for 20 years and took this opportunity to update look of the house with new shingle/gutter color; we also had the house painted at our expense. I cant say enough good about the company. Nick had approached me about some damage he saw on my roof. I knew I had storm damage but not to the extent he was able to find. Him and his company helped me navigate the tricky parts of dealing with insurance.The install took place in one day. And what a day it was. The poor guys working on the roof baked under 100° weather and then battled two separate storms to get the job done. Two guys on my back deck almost took a ride with my inflatable pool to the land of Oz. Despite the weather and the near casualties of two brave men and their fight to save my $60 inflatable Amazon pool from the clutches of mother nature, not a nail, shingle or any of my property was out of place. The roof looks better than ever and I still have a place to get ankle deep in some hose water.

Tim Flynn with Advocate Construction was a huge help for us about three years ago when we needed to replace our original 17 year old roof, gutters, and downspouts in a new to us house. Advocate Construction has earned all five stars on my project from start to finish. Starting out when I answered the door on our first meeting. I had no idea I needed a roof replaced, but I did have a damaged gutter from a limb that fell out of a maple next to the house. My existing shingles were only 6 years old, so when Matt Crowley asked to take a look, I thought it was unlikely he would find any issues. After his inspection, he assured me there was indeed hail damage on my roof. I put trust in Matt and Advocate Construction and let them handle everything. I got a call from my insurance adjuster. I asked the adjuster to contact Matt, and the ball got rolling from there. The adjuster came, and Matt was right there on the roof with her. The adjuster came down, agreeing the roof needed replaced and my two sheds and gazebo also should be replaced. Things moved along fairly quickly, getting the materials delivered and the next day, the crew showed up to remove old and install new. These guys replaced 33 squares of shingles and cleaned up very well in one day. All was needed the next day was haul away the dump trailer. The crew did an awesome job. Nice straight lines. Clean-up was, as someone else noted, 99%. They cant possibly find every nail, so keep an eye out for a little while. I also got that dented gutter replaced.I almost forgot about the paperwork. Very clear and complete as best I could tell. I got a detailed quote that has every little piece of material used. I was quite impressed.If youre still reading this, then you must be looking at Advocate Construction to do some work for you. We could not be more impressed with Advocate Construction. I was doing yardwork and noticed that several shingles from my roof were spread out in my backyard after a storm. We called Advocate to see if they would take a look and they came right out. Matt Crowley and his team took care of everything start to finish and we ended up with a necessary new roof and soffit. Matt Crowley worked directly with our insurance provider and the insurance adjuster to assess the damage and complete the job. Quite the story here, but worth the read (part one):After having a wonderful experience with Advocate about eight years ago with my previous home, they were the first company I called when I had a new project with my current home. They were timely, courteous, and confident that not only would they be able to fix my current issue at hand, but that they would also be able to replace the roof all while working with my insurance company to get everything covered under my deductible....great! They had replaced the roof at my previous home and gotten insurance to cover the whole thing after some initial pushback from the insurance company, so I believed we were on that same path.Fast forward to when the insurance company comes out to inspect the roof, the claim actually gets turned down....similar to what happened on my previous home. The Advocate rep was confident though that there was enough storm damage to the roof to warrant a reinspection, so we had insurance come back out and another rep with Advocate joined, and before the end of the day, insurance had approved an entire roof replacement....perfect!So, the plan at this point is to have the roof replaced, and then Advocate would be able to incorporate the other part of my project all under the same insurance claim since all of the damage was related. Things are now in motion and the roof is scheduled to be replaced within a matter of days, and then I was told the 2nd half of the project would be completed shortly after. I wanted to get a firm date though on the 2nd half of the project, and this is when things went sideways.I texted the rep who had worked out this plan on a Monday (with the material scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday), and before I could set my phone down, I get a call from an unknown number who turns out to be a manager with Advocate informing me that the rep I was texting was no longer with the company....stomach dropping moment. I explained the situation and what the previous rep had committed to, and what followed was a deep sigh from the manager and then telling me that this 2nd half of the project work that was promised to me is actually out of scope with what Advocate does, and that I was mislead by their former employee. While I was very unhappy at this point, the manager apologized profusely and this was the start of Advocate getting creative to fix a very messy situation.Since this 2nd half of the project involved additional work and expenses that were not truly going to be included with the roofing portion, escalation and further approvals had to be worked through Advocate, and that same day I received a call from the sales director (who just so happened to be the rep who worked the roof replacement at my previous home and remembered me and my family), and he also apologized profusely and committed to making the situation right and sticking to the companys word.Fast forward some time later, I had a brand new roof and the original project that I had called about had been completed....all while the communication throughout the whole process was timely and consistent....and most importantly, no additional out of pocket expenses were requested.Long story made shorter, after having a great experience at my previous home, I had real concern about my situation and how things were going to unfold after I was told that the previous rep made promises that fell outside of the work that the company was able to perform. All worry and hesitation though was immediately erased by the friendliness and professionalism of both the manager and sales director, and the end result was a significant fix and upgrade to my home....all with zero out of pocket expenses after the insurance claim had closed (which Advocate worked 100% of by the way....I never had to make any calls or write any emails to insurance....they took care of everything).

Our experience with Advocate Construction was really outstanding. After a tree branch fell and punched a small hole in our roof during a storm, rain leaked in and damaged an interior ceiling. I knew our roof was older, and that hail had been in the area but was unsure of the extent of that. I contacted our insurance and had an adjuster on site in a few days. Unfortunately, and even though they admitted there was hail damage, they decided the claim was for wind only and minimized my payout. Let’s just say they weren’t acting “like a good neighbor.” I called Kevin Crowley at Advocate. He had a rep on site promptly. He saw the hail damage was evident and advised me to get a re-inspection. Insurance refused and I had to file a new claim. This time, when their adjuster came out, Kevin personally was there to argue my case. In the end, my insurance covered nearly the entire roof. The new roof is on and looks fantastic. All the detail work was done right, and cleanup was very good. The crew was diligent in the heat, prompt and courteous. The price was very fair and the whole process was easy, once Kevin and Advocate stepped in. I would easily recommend this company if you need roofing work and help in dealing with a claim.

Advocate Construction helped work directly with our insurance to minimize our paperwork. They arrived on time and did a great job with installing the new roof. Nate was a pleasure to work with and was very courteous. He stayed in contact with us all throughout the planning and installation. He made sure we had no questions or issues.Great job guys!
