A treasure to have here in STL.Better shopping experience and expertise than the big box stores obviously, but honestly I think their prices are comparable as well- not to mention they actually have what you need. They had some profiles in stock to match our 1888 home, and 2 week turn around for what we need customized. You can trust this place will steer you in the right direction and sell you quality at fair price.

What a great place! If they don’t have the trim you are looking for (or in my case, trying to match) they can have a knife blade made and make it for you! Outstanding service, highly recommend.

Over the last two year, I got some crown moulding, baseboards and door trims custom made for my 100-year old house. The first time I visited the business I talked to Marvin about my project. I was a novice when it came to woodwork. I didnt know what pieces I need for my door frame and how much to order. He showed me around the shop as well as a custom door project he was working on. He was incredibly patient answering all my questions. I have returned three times since to get various things I needed during my home restoration. Most recently Katie helped me with my orders and she was a delight to work with. The rest of the staff I have interacted with are super nice and professional. All my ordering was hassle free and deliveries were prompt. These folks are some of the best people I have interacted with during the three years process of my house rehab.

I rehab houses and I purchase Historic and custom lumber quite often. Dont even waste your time going anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable and the customer service is great! Youll find the owner there everyday and hes super nice!

They are friendly, get their orders out on time, and can make pretty much anything. They have a good selection of stock moldings for old houses. I find their prices very competitive as well (especially their set-up fees).
