I cannot say enough good things about Alcoa Custom Homes and the entire Anderson family. As a first time home builder, the process of buying a lot, designing a home and then actually building a home seemed daunting, especially since we lived out of state. It wasnt! From our first meeting with Alcoa, Corey and Lori Anderson gave us 100% of their attention, answered every question with detail, and were always thoughtful about matching up our wish list with the design of the home. Even though we did not live locally during the build, it felt like we were right here every step of the way. The construction process was so easy and we felt informed and included in the process. The homes built by Alcoa are thoughtfully designed, energy-efficient, and well-built (were talking 2x6 construction, solid foundations, the best insulation, and more!) We love our home. It is unfortunate that Alcoa Construction is not represented in the 2021 Parade of Homes; after almost a year in our beautiful home, I thought it appropriate to recognize Corey & Lori Anderson on Valentine Day. After exploring Parade of Homes in ’18 & ’19, we discovered production contractors didn’t offer as much flexibility in design, as do custom builders. My wife and I worked with a couple realtors and considered several builders, but narrowed our search after sitting with Corey on the 5th of July, 2019. We were shown a 2700sf, one story home design that checked all our boxes. Corey considers not only the “desires” of his clients, but the “demands” of building codes, and exceeds both. Among multiple detail changes, Corey moved the fireplace and converted all bedrooms to “ensuite”. Corey and Lori are refreshingly personable, going above and beyond our expectations. Living out of state made many decisions challenging, but multiple trips to St. George and Corey’s regular digital updates (with pictures), went a long way in assuaging our anxieties. We love the quality and attention to detail, as well as his professionalism and follow up. We couldn’t be happier, expecting a beautiful home and provided an architectural masterpiece. We think anyone considering building a home in the area, should definitely have Alcoa Construction on their radar!
