It was finally time to replace our sewer line and Keith, Chris, and their dig crew were amazing. They dealt with the city, got the job done quickly, and left the dig site looking clean and neat. They even rodded our branch line to ensure we would have no issues moving forward. I hope to not need another plumber for a while, but if we do, we’ll call Aqua Doctor. They’re honest, reasonable, and incredibly kind.

Wally, Rob, and the dig crew were all great. My wife and I, as first time homeowners, encountered our first emergency when we found out there were tree roots in our sewer pipes. Our go-to plumbers.

I noticed Aqua Doctors new and bright signage across the street from the Long Lake train station a couple weeks back. I’ve used a couple plumbers in the area in the past but I called Aqua Doctor instead and very happy that I did! I called on a Monday and a very nice lady answered the phone and got me set up with an estimate appointment on Wednesday. Uncle Bob arrived on time with his helper Marek. Uncle Bob took his shoes off upon entering my house and his pricing to replace my 7 year old sump pump was extremely competitive. He was neat and placed a bag on my floor so no debris would dirty my floor. He was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. He even went out back to check on where the sump line exists my house to ensure everything looked okay. I’ve never had a plumber do that before. If you need a plumber these are a the folks to call! Very impressed.

We called for sewer backup in our basement. Chris and McKenzie arrived within 90 minutes and made quick work of rodding our sewer line. They found a crack in the line, and were very transparent with us on the state of things - showing us the camera footage of the line and explaining what we were seeing. They didn’t try to sell us on more than we needed and educated us on our various options so we felt comfortable making a decision on how to move forward. Definitely call Aqua Doctor Plumbing for honest, good work at a reasonable price.

Robert and Paul responded within 90 minutes of my toilet overflowing. They got the toilet working, but advised a heavier machine would be needed to complete the work correctly. Robert and Paul returned 2 days later and completed the work. They even replaced the original toilet with a new ADA/Comfort level toilet. Robert gave me the option of using his plumbing supplier which I did. Very easy and convenient. I highly recommend Robert and Paul! Very satisfied Long Lake customer.

These guys show up, dont price gouge, and explain everything to you so you understand what youre paying for.They helped me with a larger project of replacing a backed up sewer line that turned out to be rotten and crumbling all the way out to the road.It turns out theyre as good with big jobs as the inside-the-house issues. Im not one to write reviews, but people need to know how respectful, professional, caring and trustworthy Aqua Doctor truly is! I cannot recommend anyone better!I havent had much experience with plumbers wanting the best for their customers, I generally always get overcharged. Thankfully not with Aqua Doctor. They charge reasonable prices and want the best for their customers. They will make sure the job gets done the right way, not the easy way. Jim and Rob from Aqua Doctor Plumbing arrived within the timeframe they were supposed to and that is really important during working hours. They were both very friendly, professional and thorough in showing me exactly what the problems were with the toilet and garbage disposal. Im renovating a house and the guys at Aqua Doctor were life savers! I got quotes from a few local plumbers and Aqua Doctors was the most reasonable. I called them to replace my sewer line but they were able to help me with so much more! Not only did they replace my sewer line, they installed a faucet, replaced a sump pump, replaced a garbage disposal, sealed a cracked foundation, installed a whole house water filter, and replaced shower fixtures. They took care of the permits and went above and beyond. There wasnt anything they couldnt handle!! Real stand up guys at a quality local business.Side note: if you have the local well water, have them install a whole house water filter. Not sure of the name of it but theyll know. Super reasonably priced and works well!

Rob did an excellent, splendid job replacing a shower cartridge that I broke off into the pipe. Removing the broken cartridge was way above my pay grade but Rob got it out (trust me, not a simple process) and managed to leave the valve undamaged (yay, didn’t have to cut a hole in the wall to replace the valve). Top notch company! We called to replace our how water tank that started leaking. AquaDoctor came out for an estimate and discovered the tank was still under warranty, that saved us a few hundred. They took it back to Home Depot and brought and installed (up to code this time I might add) the new one plus adding/updating some new gas lines that should have been updated by the prior owner. Out of no where my toilet stopped flushing. Called them and was given a time frame. I asked them to come as soon as possible because i only have one bathroom. They were at my house within 30 minutes. Aqua Doctors plumbers have served us with great professionalism on 3 different occasions in the last year and a half. Most recently they found that drainage pipes under our concrete slab kitchen floor were disintegrating. It was necessary to jack hammer up a significant portion of the concrete slab to replace the affected pipes. Over the several days this large job required, several of the plumbers from Aqua Doctors working at different times were in our house. I was impressed, as I have been on previous occasions when they have been here, with how polite and friendy these people were in addition to being extremely knowledgeable about the plumbing profession. The name Aqua Doctor is very fitting for Chris and his team, because it sounds like a super hero and that is definitely what they are!After a brutal week of cold a few weeks ago I went to turn on a faucet to have water shooting out from the pipe. Thankfully I knew where the shut off valve was, and searched Angies List to find a reputable contractor for what I hoped would be a simple repair. The repair wasn’t simple, which made having a true professional like Chris even more important. Not only had one of the pipes under the sink blown out, but Chris and his thorough inspection showed me a pipe behind the wall in the shower was also leaking. Had I tried to fix the pipe myself or hired some novice I doubt that would have been found, which have resulted in leaking in my walls and under the floor for who knows how long before it was found. There unfortunately a good amount of damage, and Chris and his team helped in so many ways but I will just name a few. First, they did work beyond what a typical plumber would do. His crew came in and pulled out tile and opened the walls to get to the leaking pipes. More about that in a bit, but another critical piece was he helped me navigate the confusing and tricky area of dealing with your insurance company.He did what my insurance company didnt seem able to do, which is example to me in simple terms how the process works, and he spoke directly with the company probably 6 or 7 times as the project was moving forward on what needed to be done and why to help get every possible dollar of his bill covered. As the project was moving along and the team had to walls to do the repairs, we learned this part of the home was not built to code. We had plumbing on an outside wall without an insulated wall in between. This meant the proper way to repair it was to move the water lines for the shower, toilet and sink by jackhammering into the concrete foundation. It’s a miracle I didnt pass out when I learned that, but once again Chris took the time to explain to me in simple terms what had to be done, to show me, explain why, and then get not he phone with the insurance agency to get it covered. He even facilitated working with the village inspector to make use all the documentation needed to prove this was required by the village was in place. This along would have been $4,400 out of my pocket if Chris hadn’t been thorough and diligent to working with the insurance. Other contacts would hand me a bill and let me figure it out, but Chris helped me the entire way. His team worked hard and fast to get everything in sorted out quickly, and Chris even connected me with another familiar member who offered to do the additional repairs like drywalling, paint, etc.Chris and his team turned what could have been an absolute nightmare into a relatively painless process and really worked hard to minimize my out of pocket spend. And when the project was over and I tried to tip him for going way above and beyond me didn’t even want to accept the cash so I gave it to his workers. I just cant say enough for Chris and his hard work and work ethic.If this wasn’t enough to convince you to use Aqua Doctor I will leave you with one more meaningful example. When the village came out to look at what had to be done to comply with code, I could see the relief on the face of the village inspector that I was using Aqua Plumbing because they knew the job would be done right.

I called them in the afternoon with a clogged sink that keeps happening about 40 feet into a drain pipe. They were there the next morning to fix it. No hourly cost, just a flat fee for this job versus the other guys who want to charge you $55 per 15 minutes. The other guys also suggested that if this keeps happening that I should open up the walls and see if there is a structural problem.
