This company has been recommended to me by my two sisters who had last year generators installed in their houses using Mikus Electric & Generators. Since both sisters had very positive opinion on this company, when our old generator stopped working I called them for help.After first inspection of our 17 years old unit we were advised to replace it with a new one, and we decided to do that. Few weeks later 2 people crew worked in our house replacing old generator with a new Generac and we like a lot their professionalism and attention to details while they did their work. Despite of the freezing temperature outside, anything which they needed to move to make space to bring to the backyard a new unit, has been placed back. The old unit has been taken out by them. The old electric connection to the inside circuit box was replaced and all was done to the code. The operation of the new unit has been presented to me and they have answered all my questions. They have earned my high recommendation to anybody who needs help on generator.

The owner Mike took the time to explain the process and answer all my questions. He identified and fixed issues that the previous contractor missed ensuring that everything us up to code. Overall, I would highly recommend Mikus Electric for all your electrical needs. The cost was reasonable with no hidden fees.

We recently had a full-house generator hooked up to our house. We had called and recd three total quotes and Mikus was the most reasonable. Their service men were not only friendly and courteous, but also very knowledgeable & efficient. We learned a lot about our generator and how it would supply us at all times with electricity, without us having to be present at the house. Thank you, Mikus. Our neighbor next door saw how quickly our generator was installed and they used Mikus, also.

Pricing seems to be a bit steap but Im new to the area so it may actually be competitive around here. I was installing a fireplace/entertainment center and was left high and dry by my last electrician. My contractors couldnt start work without the outlets I needed. I called 6 other places that didnt have anyone available with such short notice, but Im really glad Mike (the owner) picked up and sent over Roger. We all agreed to a time frame and price before the job started, and I was really happy that Roger finished everything in that timeframe. They definitely saved the day and our weekend timeframe. Appreciated and will def call for return business!

OUTSTANDING The only word to describe Mike and his employees. They were dependable, professional, and efficient. The inspector from our village also stated the installation of the the electric and gas pipes were OUTSTANDING. I would recommend MIKUS ELECTRIC to anyone considering a home generator.

Mike, Kim and the crew were fantastic!!! I highly recommend this company. They hooked up our existing generator that we moved with us to our new house. Mike and I spoke several times, I sent photos and he gave me an estimate. It turned out that the job was not going to cost as much as originally anticipated, he called with a lower adjusted price on the day of the install. Very honest company.

Mike and his crew were helpful from the estimate phase through permitting and installation, including an extra visit to help set up the Generac Mobile Link. His office manager Kim was likewise very helpful throughout the entire process.
