I highly recommend An Extra Hand!David and his crew (David, Jay and Sylvan) were amazing to work with. They were always on time, very good at communicating and always cleaned up at the end of the day!! They were professional and even let my 5 year old *help* most days when they were here.I had them transform our screened in porch into a 3 seasons room and it exceeded all expectations - it is now our family’s favorite room in the house!The crew finished our project in two weeks (on time and on budget)! Which was amazing for our busy family.I can’t wait to find a new project to have An Extra Hand back at our house!

I knew hiring these guys would be a great decision. They KILLED it! My kitchen was the ugliest part of our house and now it’s the best! I absolutely cannot speak highly enough of David Brown and his entire crew with An Extra Hand. We just completed a full kitchen overhaul and I can truly say David and his team created our Dream Kitchen for us.The crew was consistently punctual and considerate, arriving every day at 9am and completing full solid days work each and every work day. We were always impressed at how much they accomplished at the end of each day. The entire team was very conscientious of cleanliness, from sheeting off construction areas with tarps to never leaving a shred of trash or debris behind. The work site was tidy at the end of each day and they took the extra steps to clean/dust/wipe down everything at the end of the job so all the had to do was settle into our beautiful new space.Always going above and beyond, the integrity and quality of An Extra Hands work is unmatched. Along the way of our remodel, we hit lots of unavoidable bumps and snags - between the current distribution chain issues along with gaps and misinformation left by suppliers. A big part of the remodel was removing the heavy overhanging bulkhead above our original cabinets. Once getting into the walls, there were lots of unexpected vent piping and electrical wiring that needed rerouted and rehomed. The ingenuity of the team kicked right in and they made the necessary adjustments to allow the design to move forward as planned. The plans from our cabinet company werent entirely accurate, causing our new window to be installed 2 off center from the sink. The crew didnt even hesitate to do the extra work to move and reset the entire window to get it right. As the kitchen was coming together, I made a pretty big request requiring half a day of extra work. Its a given that this change would incur additional cost but David didnt hesitate to add the extra work into the schedule to ensure the end result was exactly what we wanted it to be. One of our lower cabinets got lost in shipping, delaying the countertops for almost a full week. Once we tracked it down, David was able to rely on his strong relationship with his sub contractors to expedite the counters and keep the project on track with the timeline. Again and again, as obstacles popped up, David reassured us it would come together just the way we hoped, offered guidance to help us make decisions, and ultimately delivered 110% on everything he promised.In addition to the kitchen, the crew also installed a pull down attic door/ladder, raised our attic floor above the utilities to lay subfloor, stained & installed a new front door and refinished our wooden beam mantle (among a whole list of other misc household tasks). It was so great to have all these additional items addressed and well tended to.Before they left, we requested a quote for our next project. We will use this team again and I will be recommending them to anyone who needs An Extra Hand around their home.

David and his team go above and beyond with their level of professionalism. We hired them to complete an inspection list on my father in laws home. They showed up when they said they would. They work was completed when they said it would be. They were very kind and professional. They took very good care of the home while doing the work and cleaned up after themselves daily. And best priced! Would highly recommend to anyone and will certainly have them back for more work.

It’s hard trusting someone with your family home and investment. The exterior of our home needed more work than we were capable of taking on so for the first time ever we (nervously) hired someone else to do it. The owner was professional and courteous, so was the crew - no complaints from the neighbors! Pricing was transparent and there wasn’t a surprise bill at the end. We received not only what the house needed, but exactly what we wanted as if we had done it ourselves, but with much better results. It feels good pulling up to the house and into the driveway now. Would I hire An Extra Hand again? Absolutely. Thank you!

Wow! David has assembled such a great team of experienced remodel and construction professionals....NOTHING is subcontracted out! We had our deck replaced. From the initial estimate (quite reasonable!) to the finished product, this company was outstanding! The work was above and beyond what we expected...David had some great ideas that we used in our design. They arrive when they say they are going to arrive and do what they say they are going to do! We couldnt be happier with our deck! I HIGHLY recommend!! I will be reaching out for other projects!

They gave us a quote for the work we needed done. The big job was power washing and staining the deck. The job that we were really worried about a bit was the ceiling moving in the living room when someone walked in the bedroom above it. We had no idea how to fix that. Then once it was fixed the living room ceiling needed repainted. We also had 5 places of broken siding that needed replaced.They gave us a quote, showed up when promised, communicated, did more than we asked, cleaned up afterwards, and protected every other surface while doing the jobs.Every person on the job was friendly, professional, helpful, and went out of their way to see we were satisfied.We are so happy with their work. No job too big or small. We will be calling them again as budget allows.Only pics I got are before and after on deck.Totally recommend.

Big SHOUT OUT to David Brown of An Extra Hand for helping out Highland Acres Subdivision after a storm came though a few weeks back that left quite a few of our roads blocked with downed trees. He stopped another job, which was about 30 miles away, and was there within an hour or so. His crew did a great job clearing out the roads and made sure all the roads were cleared before leaving. Dave and his assistant Paul are great! No job too big or too small! I had Paul out to the house to remove a built-in desk which was causing me neck pain as I worked at home. He also removed the closet doors around the built-in and assembled a new state of the art desk to replace the built-in. I am so happy now! He also did a little thing which will improve my life greatly-switched the door on the fridge in my garage so it opens the other way-its in a corner and I cant tell you how pleased I am! Paul showed up on time, got right to work, cleaned up after himself-Dave and Paul are professional-you will not be disappointed with their work!
