This is the second time weve used Nationwide Sun and have had the best experience both times. Weve done a lot of work on our house, and no other work has been done as quickly, smoothly, and to such high standards. We had them install solar panels and a backup batter which required a challenging electrical configuration. Most other companies said it wasnt possible, but Nationwide figured it out and made it exactly how we wanted, not to mention it was even more affordable than other quotes.Our most recent work was to repair a leak on our roof. Even though it was a very small job, Nationwide was out here within 2 days and fixed it immediately. Their communication, efficiency, and quality is truly unmatched. I wish we could trust all trade-companies like we do Nationwide Sun.

We have explored solar for quite some time. But restrictions due to our dwelling, trees blocking a potential solar site; it just wasn’t working out. When we found Nationwide Sun, Frank came out to our house, not once, but twice, to offer us assistance and come up with a plan. We were willing to take out trees, but not our whole orchard (as other companies required for a ground base system). At the time we had an aging arbor with a huge wisteria vine. It was going to come down eventually. Frank came up with a plan to replace the arbor with a new structure that would house the solar panels AND provide the shade of the former arbor, as well as a cozy carport for our vehicles! Nationwide Sun was the ONLY company willing to work with a design that fit OUR needs. And it is spectacular! We’ve received many compliments on the utility of the design, as well as the functionality of re-gaining our much-desired shade from that former arbor. The construction crews were efficient, professional, and always cleaned up after themselves! (They were willing “cookie taste testers too!) During this time period, there were a few minor delays due to the issues at the time (shipping) but as we were not under any type of time constraint, this was not an issue for us. We endured more delays from our power company! You must be patient with the process. The team at Nationwide Sun was always available through email or phone calls to assure us all was going well.If you have a challenging situation for installation of a solar system, look to Nationwide Sun. They are innovative, and willing to work ‘outside the box’ to meet your needs.

Because the breaker box is far away from where we wanted the charger mounted, they did a really great job of containing the wires in a way that was very clean and streamlined. We researched several generator installation vendors and chose Nationwide Sun, in part because they were the best value for the price. The work crew were very professional, and the workmanship was stellar. We had a complex installation due in part to local code requirements, which required the proposed generator site to be relocated after the contract price had already be agreed upon. We have an older home, but the quality of the work was as if we lived in a million dollar home. Nationwide Sun honored the contract price even though there were some additional costs to them - no hassles. Everything worked as planned during multiple power outages this past year. We are extremely happy with the installation.

My friend was getting solar in her home, and I was helping her choose the company. We looked at 4 companies, and it didnt feel right. She then found Nationwide Sun. From the moment we spoke with them, I knew they were head and shoulders above the rest. (I am a technical professional, and the expertise with which they spoke, and the manner in which they described what they do, I knew they would be great).They installed the system at my friends house, and it was amazing quality work, that was done quickly.Months later I bought a home, and of course used Nationwide Sun on my home. (Wouldnt consider anyone else.) I installed a 30 panel, 2 battery EnPhase system. I cannot speak highly enough about the work they do - attention to detail, expertise, and overall system and quality of install. Likewise the people on their team were all competent, and easy to work with. And finally, the office staff in terms of responsiveness, help, and just always providing the general level of support you would want, during the install and after.And of course I love the EnPhase setup they installed, and the overall final result. (Which also included upgrading two of my electrical panels, and installing a Tesla Wall Charger and an extra 14/50 plug on the other side of the garage.)Really great work. I couldnt be happier.(Now I have to paint the garage interior to match the beauty of the system).

I have worked with Nationwide on several projects now, and Im happy to recommend them highly! When winter storms brought two trees down on my house, they were absolute heroes. They were out there immediately, got everything cleared and tarped up to prevent water damage, then when weather permitted they did an excellent job re-roofing my house. Prior to that, they installed a ground mount solar system, and also did an excellent job with that. They were always prompt, easy to reach, and able to find creative and effective solutions to logistical challenges.

Because they proved to be a professional service provider.Nationwide, Sun purchased the permit and negotiated with PG&E to install a maximum-capacity system.My solar system was installed as designed and on time. One exception was storage. The system was designed to include batteries, but I honored their suggestion to wait to install storage batteries. Competitive efforts to improve battery technology will increase future capacity at a lower cost.Later, I received a folder containing itemized system details, cost breakdown, and the tax information for filing my income taxes.

The team at Nationwide Sun is absolutely incredible. They arent JUST a solar company- so they have a diverse base of knowledge spanning different types of engineering projects from patio covers (with solar) to pools. When I was looking to go solar, I extensively interviewed and got bids from 8 companies from small to large. Most of the companies sounded so good but when I got into the details clearly were not what they presented. Nationwide sun was entirely different, with a special shout-out to Ray and Amber. Ray was super low pressure, REALLY knew his stuff, and always admitted if there was something he had to look up to confirm. Despite being a large, professional company, they were very responsive and their bid came in highly competitive - in some cases, beating the socks off bids from other companies including the Costco member SunRun pricing. If youre considering solar, at least talk with these guys - itll be the best 30 minutes you could spend before signing any contracts.

Nationwide Sun installed my solar panels system in 2019 by their CEO, Frank Dasmacci ,himself. Their work, in one word, is superb. They even installed a bird/rodent screen around the panels to prevent critters from getting underneath. Then, in 2023, they installed a 10kWh battery for the same system. The installers, James & Joseph, worked until 11:30pm on a Friday night and finished the installation. Amazing dedication.By the way, they took care of all paperwork, including drawing up plans, permits, inspection, PG&E coordination, etc.Furthermore, their overall price was lowest among the solar installers that Ive contacted. Currently, Im contemplating adding few more panels to zero out my net usage from PG&E. A friend of a friend recommended Nationwide Sun to me. So now Im recommending Nationwide Sun for anyone who is looking to install solar.

More than a year after install, they are still available to answer my questions. When Nationwide Sun goes into the water delivery biz, I will be first in line.

Weve never done anything about solar panels until a few months ago when we bought our first home. We were very close to the deadline for submitting the application to catch the tail of the good policy before it got worse (I believe it was in the mid of April.) When I got to talk to Nationwide Sun, Ray sounded honest yet supportive. He told me due to the deadline, they have got busier so there was no guarantee that their company had the capacity to take our case but he would double check. And soon enough, he came back to us with good news.I am not very familiar with the actual work they have done as my husband took over the work with them after I initiated the contact. But according to my husband, the whole team has been responsive, professional and accommodating.Overall, our whole experience has been positive. And I would recommend them to anyone who needs solar panels.

From the Owner of the company to the installers to the schedulers, Nationwide is hands down the best vendor Ive ever used. They even sat around in their cars on the street waiting for PGE inspectors to come for PTO to ensure there were no issues...packing a brown bag lunch knowing they could be there for hours. This sounds like a trivial impressed moment but that is the level of detail that Frank and his team spend time on. The best part is they dont sub out any work, so they OWN everything they do and stand behind it. I have 20 other examples of little things that would have gone wrong with another outfit, but Nationwide makes EVERYTHING easy and reliable. We had them do other things outside of just solar installation and they always do right by us, from quality to pricing. No need to consider ANYONE else

The arrangements for service were emailed to the tech with a cc to me, including the tech’s contact phone number. The tech arrived a few minutes late, but close enough to being on time that I wasn’t bothered. The tech was pleasant, courteous, and professional, then did his work promptly, cleaned up, and we paid him for his work (thank you TJ). In sum, this is about the most professional service company I have used in a long time. In contrast, the company we called before Nationwide Sun set, and no-showed, three appointments (before we finally said to them, “three strikes and you’re out!”). Use Nationwide. They’re the real deal. We’ll be calling them for any other service required on our generator.

Nationwide put in our 22KW whole house generator in Feb of 2020. The new junction box with all new wiring and breakers was done with quality work. The installation went very smooth. I had one small issue and the owner came out in the rain to repair it. Since then. No issues. The unit regularly exercises itself based on a schedule I can set up through Generac Mobile Link App. And when the power has gone out, does exactly what it is supposed to do. Would highly recommend this group.

However, unlike the others, they took the time to evaluate our only available sunny rooftop and design an 18-panel system; others proposed twice as many panels and removal of our large tree. We also like that they are an engineer-owned company and are local, based in Rocklin, CA.

I am happy to have found Nationwide Sun to install my Generac auto home generator. Frank has been a pleasure to deal with, he is extremely professional and respectful. He has a highly skilled crew that any business owner would want to have. I bought my generator in Fall 2020 during a very busy time of year for home generator installs. I live in fire country and PG&E shuts our power off more often than in the cities, it greatly impacts your life negatively when it happens, and I was getting tired of pulling out my portable (very loud) generator every time the power would go out. When it rains it is even harder to find a place to have your generator on without some sort of rain protection.At the time I bought my generator through Home Depot, which gave me 2 years interest free to pay it off, a deal I couldnt refuse, I was assigned Nationwide Sun as my installers. They were super busy and working overtime but Frank made me a promise that he would have my unit installed by November 1st. I was getting nervous by the end of October but I got the call that they have my Generator and would be there 2 days before his promise date.I was actually in the middle of a PSPS (Public Safety Power Shutoff) at the time so his call was very relieving.They came on time, installed the generator, and even came back the next day to finish what they couldnt that day. They installed a brand new main panel along with the Generac panel, and it looks better than the original.What I believe makes Nationwide Sun stand out is that I had a spark plug come off while the generator was on during a long outage, I didnt know what happened but there was a smell of propane and the generator was revving up and down. I knew something was wrong. I called Frank and he had his guy up at my house that afternoon to fix the problem. He had to drive more than an hour to get to my house and I offered to pay them for doing it but he wouldnt take any money from me.I really appreciated that and will never forget it.Thanks to all of you at Nationwide Sun for a job well done.From a very happy customer.

“Blessing in disguise” is what I call our pg&e problem with our new construction. Our pg&e issues led us to the BEST (solar) company on the planet with the best person (Frank) at the helm with a fantastic team that enjoys its job. Even pg&e techs were blown away by the “sick system” we had in place that allowed us to be fully off grid through a whole winter, a whole spring, and a whole summer while pg&e took their own sweet time connecting us to the grid. When we finally were connected to the grid, I questioned if that was truly necessary…we could live forever on solar!- 16.8 kW panels with 3 batteries, 10kW each (and other design stuff I won’t go into detail)- work completed and fully powered up with permits in a couple of weeks (there were a few reasons for this and they worked with us to figure out a solution that aligned with our personal circumstances)- inspection and ongoing support even after installation and through pg&e’s bumbling process- James (working through the night in the dead of winter), he truly seemed to enjoy the challenge and the work- Ray, Ryan, Bennette - always responsive and helpful (I am sure I am forgetting a multitude of others working in the background, and I am sorry)- Frank, the CEO, one of the smartest people I know, who truly also cares. He inspires my husband and I to be better humans!If you have read this far and are still debating which solar company to go with, I pray for you. Just. Go. With. Nationwide.
